Lightroom :: Created Web Gallery And Closed Program Still On Web Tab
Oct 6, 2013
Still using Lightroom 2, created a web gallery and closed the program still on the web tab. Now Lightroom won't load. The icon on the bottom (Mac) shows it's working (like it does for export) and shows it completely filled up, but the screen won't even open if I ever change to another program while waiting for it to load. If I leave it up it just stays there.
i installed coreldraw x6 about two weeks to try and i liked it so much and my windows gone down and when i reinstalled windows and reinstalled coreldraw and tried to open a file was created with coreldraw x6 it give me error and program closed.

Is there a method to move gallery tabs so that Page & Layer Gallery tab is first in line (at the top) of docked gallery tabs at the right of the screen? I can move gallery tabs, but cannot make Page & Layer gallery tab move to the top.
Using Win7 64bit + PS CS6 64 bit ext on a 16GB PC. In which folder do I find the web gallery templates for Bridge CS6? Is there info available on how the programming/ configuration works with the info passed by Bridge - filename, contact info, copyrights, description/title, email, etc.
I have used PEDIT to join multiple polylines, which now appear as polylines. But when I use QSELECT to show all open (non-closed) section, one polyline still shows up as open.
I've attached the file I'm working on. The polyline in question is the green outline on the object on the right.
I've had a great time using the Web Photo Galleries in Photoshop CS and CS2, especially since I'm fairly deft with HTML and a total Flash dunce, so the Web Photo Gallery Flash 1 and Flash 2 templates have served me well and allowed me to make fun Flash stuff without having to learn. But, with learn-by-doing, there often comes a point of confusion, and I think I've found mine.
I noticed that (when using the gallery "Flash 1"), if I click the little ? in the bottom right, the file name will come on and stay on throughout all the pictures. This is exactly what I want since that's where I do all my captioning and it really adds something for me to be able to see that. My question: how in the world do I get it to do this by default? I'm always telling friends/family, "oh, click the little ? in the bottom right and it'll show the captions," but am certain there must be some way to do this by default.
I fiddled in the galleryconfig.xml file, but there's only this line
HTML Code: <var symboltype="boolean" name="showHelpButton" value="true" /> which actually just tells the button to be displayed, but not for the thing that happens as a result of pushing the button to stay displayed.
I have a small business doing canvas stretch pictures. A client of mine has asked me to do a collage of 27 photos and I used Shape Collage to do so. She wanted a collage with all the photos in a regulated format. That is Avg.Angle zero degrees, Max. Angle zero degrees, Offset X zero and Offset Y zero. After creating the collage I saved it as a PSd file. So Far So good. I then opened Gimp 2.8.4 and was quite confused as the latest program appearance is nothing like the tutorials and images on the net. However I was able to open the image of the collage by importing the psd file. I was also able to edit the photos and reposition them according to her wishes. I then saved the file as a psd. She wanted to see a jpeg copy of the collage as she does not have photoshop on her pc. In order to show her I had to flatten the psd and then save it in photoshop to a jpeg format. She now wants me to add one more photo to the existing collage.
I import a gallery into LR 5. It shows up on the list on the left side. I click on the folder. The folder opens but the thumbs are dimmed. I can't undim them. I can open a single file but can't Develop it or do anything with it. I can't even Delete the folder so I can try again.
This happens over and over again. Yes, I'm new to LR but this is ridiculous.
In making a web gallery is there a way to make some minor changes and resave the web gallery?I find I have to delete the existing web gallery then recreate it then save it again ?
In Bridge, they have a way to get an excel file of a web gallery, which is so useful. Only thing is now I make my web galleries in LR, and I shuffle image order around. Any way to do that with LR too?
when I click under the web gallery and I selected a flash gallery or imported web galley (example here is airtight simple viewver...) ... the screen in the middle box keeping black nothing more.it's when I click under flash gallery.there is no photo adding ...
Previously it worked I saw when I clicked under airtight post card viewer web gallery ... all my photo getting on the middle screen..Now it only works with HTML lightroom gallery.More when I click under preview in browser some gallery works but some not ... when I said not ... the result is a black screen in IE or Firefox ...
I tried to uninstall and re install lightroom but result is the same .
I'm using a Mac, Lightroom 3 uploading to a host monster.com server. the Lightroom HTML gallery displays fine when exported and opened offline but when uploaded to my server, backgrounds and navigation and cells appear fine but all the photos appear to be missing. the source code appears to have the correct path. When I've seen this question earlier users suggest that the photos are being put in a bin file but mine look to be in the correct path on the server. Other users suggest changing code in some Lightroom files perhaps using the SDK but I can't find the files they suggest changing (I think they might have been on pcs instead of macs). .
I am working with the Web module in Lightroom 4 (now 4.4) to create an online gallery with photos. I like the layout of the HMTL default template and would like to use. The only problem I found is that I can't seem to find a way to change the size of the thumbnail images and the enlarged photo that appears once the viewer clicks on the thumbnail.
Is it possible to have a web gallery on a SilverStripe website? I can upload it but I don't see where I can import it as a file. Works fine while viewing in web browser.
My current website has Flash-based galleries created in LR using SlideShowPro. I want to create an alternate web gallery for viewing on the iPad and iPhone. Any LR web gallery plug-in for this purpose? If possible, I'd like the gallery to work the way the iPhone Camera Roll works, but at very least, I'd like viewers to be able to simply flick their way through the images.SlideShowPro Director does this, but I'm not quite ready to take on its complexity.)
I want to re-create a html-web gallery that I used in CS4 and that was integrated in my own website. I wonder where the template are stored i Lightroom on a a Mac, so I'm able to copy and modify them.
Is there a lightroom web gallery plug in where it creates a gallery where people can just check the box/like their favorite photos and then I can see what has the top votes?
I have a problem saving a web gallery locally: I originally build/saved/uploaded a web gallery (www.myreimannfamily.de >dogs < Inouk and Tofino >2013).I now modified/added pictures to this gallery and tried to save it again locally. Got the error message:
export did not complete successfully it then showed all pictures in the collection then the message: JPEG files were generated using the best pixel data available in the image cache the local web gallery structure (content, resources...) were correctly created but all files were completely empty All image files are there and can be modified at high resolution in the Develop mode.
Since the original set up of this gallery I:
upraded to LR 5.3
converted some .nef files to .dng
If I delete the saved web gallery and create the same gallery from scratch, the same problem/error message pops up. Construction of other web galleries is no problem (up to now)
This is so incredibly cumbersome for clients to have to sift through hundreds of images, with dozens of pages, when they should be able to view one page (even if I have 80+ rows) or a couple in a gallery.
I reallllly hate to keep using Legacy Bridge scripts for web gallery, since LR is lightyears ahead of it in so many aspects. But I don't have a choice since I can only get 40 images on a page with.
I can't find any custom presets that offer more than 5 rows!
PS - I only use HTML to keep it iPhone friendly and nimble...
In Lighroom 4.1 , I close a catalogue and when I go to re-open another catalogue and it does not re-open , I have re-installed the software no luck , I have tried to open it with my backups no luck.
Is it possible to use the flash gallery in Lightroom and have a way for the user to right click and save images for themselves? I see that in the simpleviewer there is an option for the user to right click and open the image in a new window so users can save the images from the new window. Is there a way for this in the flash galleries as well?
My Lightroom 3 closed after editing a photo and will not open again. It says Lightroom is not working and Windows is looking for a solution. I am in a bind and need my Lightroom opened asap.
