I am looking for a way to import a sequence of images that represent an object spinning. I'd like to be able to import these onto the timeline and have it play thru the images by turning them on/off at the correct time. I basically want to do the same way that you can do in Flash when importing an image sequence.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI basically want to remove all of the black background from the image so that the animated tesseract is all that remains. I know how to open the gif to expose the layers using ImaegeReady, then edit them in PhotoShop.
But when I made the black areas of each layer transparent (by selecting the RGB channel, inverting the selection, and hitting delete), saved a copy, and tried viewing it, it seems to just display all of the transparent layers constantly instead of cycling through them. Code:

I have 15 Layer Comps created the way I like them...How do I make an Animated Gif or animated PNG from the Layer Comps?
Id Like Each Layer of the animation to be one of the Layer Comps... so it shows the progression of the frames built from 1st to last.
As you can see this is T.I i have taken this from some ones site, i would be most greatfull if some one could help me do the exact same thing this person done.
a step by step tutorial to how to gain this outcome would be excellent,

View 1 Replies View RelatedFrame animation plays fine when played from timeline but all layers are exported stacked on top of each other for the duration of the whole animation. I'm able to see that because the layers have transparency.
About animation - 8 frames with in endless loop, imported into a timeline via 'Make Frames from Layers' command in a fly-out menu in the Timeliine window. Tweens for animation are off, 01.sec delay for all frames
I was able to export animated GIF before, wondering if this issue is tied to the latest update.

I'm trying to mirror an object (wipers). But i can't. Mirror tool not mirrors the animation, just the model, so when i play the animation on the mirrored object, it moves weirdly. Symmetry is nor an option. I'm not using bones or anything, just 3 objects, two with rotation, one with rotation and translation.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have published the result of a dynamic simulation to the studio environment in Inventor 2012, and I would like to fix a camera to a point on the face of a simulated object. The camera target is at a point normal to this face, and its position and rotation need to update automatically with the object's current orientation at each time step to create a "point-of-view" video. The motion is too complex to be approximated by a camera path. The dialog box to define the camera allowed me enter a parameter for the rotation, but it was not stored as a variable; it needed to be manually redefined after each time step.
I think it may be possible to create a macro to redefine the camera's position, target, and rotation between each time step of the rendered animation, but I am not at all familiar with the objects and methods of Inventor's VBA. Would it be feasible to create something like this, or is there a simpler way, such as exporting the result of the simulation to another program like 3d Studio Max?

We are relative newbies to VideoStudio 4 but we're able to make some simple movies. Now we have been instructed to create a video that has a single red line that begins in the upper left corner, and continues to extend, to the right, towards the right side corner as the video progresses.
How to accomplish such a thing. We have the basic VS4 package, which comes with Boris Graffitt plug in, thats very complicated to us..
How to make animated user bars. This is useful if you have more than one userbar and want to display them in the same image. The end result will look like this.
There is no limit to the amount of images you can animate.
OK, firstly, we need a userbar. If you haven't got some you can make your own. I have made a tutorial with all the information you will ever need to know. You can view it here.
Once you have made some, open 1 up in The GIMP. Make sure you only open one, this is important.
Then go to, File ---> Open as Layer . . .
Select your other userbar and hit OK. What this does is open the userbar as a layer. Look, you can see the two userbars as seperate layers in my layer window.
Keep doing this to you have opened all the userbars you want to include in your animation. When you have done, go to File ---> Save as . . .
Save it as, "Userbars.gif". It is important to include the .gif, without this, the animation will not work. A window, will appear. Put in these settings.
Click "Export".
A new window will appear. Put in these settings.
Click OK.
You have now animated your userbars. Nothing to it really.
Is there a way to make a layer be animated and move or do something?

I've tried the different options in the 3D drop down menu but none of them bring me to edit in repousse.
Also, I know that I can make it 3D in After Effects my making multiples of it and what not but I don't want to go about it that way. Also, I'm working with CS5.5 and the 3D renderer plugin in After Effects is only available in CS6.
I have an object with several animation layers. When I clone(copy) it, the new object also has the same animation layers. That should be OK.
The weird thing is, when I start to mess with the animation layers of the second object. If I disable, lets say, layer02 on the second object, it affects(disables) layer02 on the first one. Somehow the objects are connected through the animation layers.
Is this the normal behavior of the animation layers? And if it is, how can I make two separate copies of the animated objects?
How can I make an actual audio shaped and animated surface? So that a second or two of an audio file is visible and moves across a plane as a wave or ripple? Something quite often seen in graphics but seemingly quite difficult to make in max.
I do not want a simple audio controlled wave / ripple modified surface as this only has evenly spaced wave lengths and is not a representation of actual waveform data.
So far I have made an audio shaped spline out of an audio controller trajectory and can lathe or extrude this into an audio shaped surface.
But how can I make an animated to real sound surface?

For example when I use the clone tool (9 out of 10 times this is when it occurs) and im working on something quite delicate and the cursor changes to the spinning balls I am still able to carry on cloning but it very difficult to keep my accuracy because you cant see where your cloning.
Initially I thought I could just ignore it and it would only happen every so often and maybe for a second or two, but its quite frequent and and does last a while. Added to that the annoying disappearing cursor trick that also keeps happening, it all making PS very frustrating to use at the moment.

Both CC and CS6 have been hanging up with the spinning beach ball. At first it's when I try to save a psd document. Haven't tried other formats. After it hangs up, I have to Force Quit and Restart. Then I can't even get Photoshop to open. It gives me the beachball during the load screen.
I did load the new update to CC this morning before this started happening. I've even wiped and restored my Start Up Drive thinking something was amiss there.
