I basically want to remove all of the black background from the image so that the animated tesseract is all that remains. I know how to open the gif to expose the layers using ImaegeReady, then edit them in PhotoShop.
But when I made the black areas of each layer transparent (by selecting the RGB channel, inverting the selection, and hitting delete), saved a copy, and tried viewing it, it seems to just display all of the transparent layers constantly instead of cycling through them. Code:
As you can see this is T.I i have taken this from some ones site, i would be most greatfull if some one could help me do the exact same thing this person done. a step by step tutorial to how to gain this outcome would be excellent,
I have my 'preload' animated gif in my psd file. When I go to play it, it only plays the frames once. How do I make it repeat and not stop?I am using Photoshop CS5.
I don't like this new version of photoshop elements (photoshop elements 10). When I try to edit an animated gif file, it says I can only view one layer and the rest will be lost.
Frame animation plays fine when played from timeline but all layers are exported stacked on top of each other for the duration of the whole animation. I'm able to see that because the layers have transparency.
About animation - 8 frames with in endless loop, imported into a timeline via 'Make Frames from Layers' command in a fly-out menu in the Timeliine window. Tweens for animation are off, 01.sec delay for all frames
I was able to export animated GIF before, wondering if this issue is tied to the latest update.
I'm a photoshop newbie and i'm dealing with animated gifs. Lets say I create a new text layer on this animated gif and I want to move it to the last frame. Is there an easier way than what i'm doing now: clicking and holding the layer with my mouse and dragged it to the last frame. I'm asking because sometimes these animated gifs have like 500+ frames and want to know if there is a faster, easier way
Trying to create my first animated gif. I have 8 .ico files that i converted to .png to open them. once all are open i try to combine into one file with 8 layers but am unable to do it!?!? If I click on the main layer in any file it shows as locked and says "Indicates layer is partially locked".
is there a easier way to make flashing animated gif? like the photoshop way? one that I don't have to add the white lines one by one, next to each other?
We are relative newbies to VideoStudio 4 but we're able to make some simple movies. Now we have been instructed to create a video that has a single red line that begins in the upper left corner, and continues to extend, to the right, towards the right side corner as the video progresses.
How to accomplish such a thing. We have the basic VS4 package, which comes with Boris Graffitt plug in, thats very complicated to us..
How to make animated user bars. This is useful if you have more than one userbar and want to display them in the same image. The end result will look like this.
There is no limit to the amount of images you can animate.
OK, firstly, we need a userbar. If you haven't got some you can make your own. I have made a tutorial with all the information you will ever need to know. You can view it here.
Once you have made some, open 1 up in The GIMP. Make sure you only open one, this is important.
Then go to, File ---> Open as Layer . . .
Select your other userbar and hit OK. What this does is open the userbar as a layer. Look, you can see the two userbars as seperate layers in my layer window.
Keep doing this to you have opened all the userbars you want to include in your animation. When you have done, go to File ---> Save as . . .
Save it as, "Userbars.gif". It is important to include the .gif, without this, the animation will not work. A window, will appear. Put in these settings.
Click "Export".
A new window will appear. Put in these settings.
Click OK.
You have now animated your userbars. Nothing to it really.
I have an object with several animation layers. When I clone(copy) it, the new object also has the same animation layers. That should be OK.
The weird thing is, when I start to mess with the animation layers of the second object. If I disable, lets say, layer02 on the second object, it affects(disables) layer02 on the first one. Somehow the objects are connected through the animation layers.
Is this the normal behavior of the animation layers? And if it is, how can I make two separate copies of the animated objects?
How can I make an actual audio shaped and animated surface? So that a second or two of an audio file is visible and moves across a plane as a wave or ripple? Something quite often seen in graphics but seemingly quite difficult to make in max.
I do not want a simple audio controlled wave / ripple modified surface as this only has evenly spaced wave lengths and is not a representation of actual waveform data.
So far I have made an audio shaped spline out of an audio controller trajectory and can lathe or extrude this into an audio shaped surface.
But how can I make an animated to real sound surface?
I have two maps of same area (different years) and I want to match them up as one map. I can load them both as layers and make the older map transparent so that I can see through to newer map, but older map is larger than the newer map (in the background). I can move the transparent map but I cannot make just the transparent map smaller to fit over the other map. I will also need to rotate the map slightly. When I try to resize it changes both maps. I have tried the transform and the move tool. So how can I make one layer smaller and rotate it it leaving the other layer intact?
I have a large psd. The bottom most Layer can be a background layer is it possible to flatten just this layer to make is a background layer as this may make the file size smaller. Im working in PH5 on a Mac.
How do I make the edges of the top layer blend in with the bottom layer so you cannot tell that there is a line??? I want to make it look like a heart but I don't know how to smoothen the edges to make it look like it is part of the bottom layer so when I merge the layers there is no goofy lines looking like someone cropped another fire picture out...
In order to make a copy of a layer. I know I make a copy of the layer, but then I'm having issues taking the layer, and reversing it horizontally so that I can create a new layer using the previous copied layer. I don't know what I'm doing wrong, and I've been experimenting with it. I'm now able to create really nice and curvy looking hills, but still just not able to copy it, and reverse it.
Photoshop cs5 I have a picture with a lot of layers.
One of the layers I would like save as a separate layer that is not part of the images, for after that to use the stamp tools to "copy" from the new lay and in my original image.
I have a layer that I used in every project of Adobe Photoshop and in that case I used to re-design that layer or copy the image of layer from another project. Is there any way to make that layer default that when I shall start a "new" project, that layer automaticaly fix at layer panel (same as first layer) ?
