View 1 RepliesI am trying to create wall by faces of a Mass I modelled.
This is the Mass: [URL]
Everytime I try to create a wall by face of one exactly face, it accept Location Line: By Finish Face Interior only, when I try to change ANY other Location Line, it gives me a message error.
[URL]
And it is always from the SAME FACE highlighted at the picture.
The mass was made by the floors and top edges. I select all of the edges and create a mass from down to top.
All the other faces are ok and they accept the wall by face and let them change the Location Line except this one.
I would like to know the quickest way to create face in hole type photo templates. I was at Universal studios and was impressed by the speed they could create face on body images.
I am thinking it has to do with lasso select tool with a feather on edges > invert selection.
Also what is the quickest way to make the photo face match the original face color. (is there some kind of color select to do this?)
I am trying to align the curtain wall with the edge of the concrete slab/face of wood framed wall (Core). I have tried to align and move however the whole wall moves as well as the edge of the slab. How I can move the Curtain wall leaving the other elements in place?

I want to do a similar image where the background 'becomes' the skin of the person in the foreground. In this image it's as though the house and the woman are each a bit of one another.

In that, there is a part where a boy's face is in a brick wall, you can see his face. How can i make that? The lines of the brick wall follow every curve of his face, its like 3d, I hope you understand what I mean. I tried that with the displace filter, it doesn't work that good. I can't find a pic of that anywhere either.

I’m wondering if there is a way to calculate the area of double face of a given wall. For exam, say that we have a wall of 4x4x0.1 meter then the area of one face is 16m2 while the double face is 32m2. Does the Revit calculate the double face of a given wall?

I'm drawing individual guest rooms for a hotel that I would like to xref into the main floor plans. The walls between the rooms are 8" wide. I would like to only show half the width of those walls (4") so when xrefed againt another guest room in the main floor plan, the total width would be 8". But I would like for the one side of the 4" wall to appear as a centerline on the individual plans, but at the same time, be able to shut the centerlines off on the main floor plans. I'm new to ACA 2012 and perhaps I'm going about this in the wrong way.........?????

Can this be set in conceptual massing while creating surface so that when I apply wall by face interior face remains interior.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI've been searching for a damaged wall effect that I can create in photoshop. I'd like it to be an indoor wall, as if it's got plaster falling off and has been damaged by water... that sort of thing!
I'm trying to make a picture that looks like it is a wall inside a house that has been damaged in some way or other.
I would like to know whether it is possible (and how) to trim a wall that was generated from mass face to a roof (also generated from face mass) or/and make a horizontal hole in it. The wall itself is not straight or curved, it shifts outwards from the building from base to top (still in an elevation it looks like rectangle).
View 2 Replies View RelatedI want to make a wall with some relief.. I dont want it to look flat or anything, but with some depth between the bricks. Its from a 3d view so it would not look nice if it were flat. I dont know how to get this effect though..and moreso..I have some graffiti brushes for the wall that need the same kinda brick relief effect (cause its sprayed on the bricks of course.. is there any way to create this as a style, brush, pattern or whatever...?
ive tried some wall brushes, but they dont give that feeling of depth..
I thought with normal you would not get any effects, but in fact, if you boost contrast on adjustment layer and keep at normal you get huge saturation boost -- unless you change to luminosity. So normal is not neutral?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI really need to achieve this effect of half face covered with a mud mask like in the picture attached below
and it has to be a very realistic effect. But no matter how much i tried i don't manage to get it right .
How do I photoshop my images to look like this?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have been obsessed with this effect, but have never been able to manage it (at least not on pictures of me). Apparently it's not a secret, because people have figured it out, like in these two album covers I have attached. (Fallen by Evanescence and Burlesque) Now, I also realize it's possible that Photoshop may be the only program that can achieve this (with the masking tool maybe?) and Paint.net can't. I just need to know these things. It's difficult for me to attempt, how to phrase my question without photos.
View 1 Replies View RelatedThe issue is that I have 3 machines I have designed with more that 80 parts each that I wanted to pull into Photoshop (they will be part of a web site) with layers so that I can texture them further. Is there a way (script or built in) that will put each object onto its own layer? Creating layers and drag/drop is going to kill my project time.
I found one plugin that is meant to do it but errors out in CorelDraw X6 x64. Scatter to layers, was the name I think. I'm sadly completely useless at any thing code related so I can't even edit the one I found to fix the errors.
This isn't an error but just a cross compatibility issue. Corel should look at adding the "treat objects/groups as layers" in the PSD export dialogue.
I have a series of tubes joined end to end to produce a long tube in several sections. I need to put a glow effect on the inside face for the full length, but have a graduated effect so that one end is glowing very hot, and then have a smooth transition to warm at the other end.
I tried applying individual glow effects to each section but the stepping is obvious.
I then tried adding a glow effect with a Gradient map added to the "Additional effects" on the options tab. This didn't seem to do much and there don't appear to be any parameters to control the gradient.
What is the best way to achieve the desired effect?
how would i go about creating shadow on a persons face. look at this example, how was this achieved?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have encountered a problem with the bevel effect of corel draw that I can't seem to resolve. I have a vector image and I convert to curves. Click on effects/bevel/soft edge bevel. I set my distance, I set my shadow colour & light colour and when I apply the bevel it changes the face colour to a murky combination of the original vector colour/shadow colour & light colour. I do not want to change the face colour of the text in any way.

Although I read through the considered topic of the GettingStarted tutorial, I've still a question to you:
How can I create a face between already existing vertices? This would really improve my workflow.
