I have saved my gif images in Photoshop 6 with transparency using the Save for Web option. When I import the image into SWISH (an application for making Flash movies) the images have a hazy look where the transparency would be. how I can clear this up?

I've used Firefox to save a series of images pulled from an Adobe Flash slideshow on Flickr. Does Photoshop have the ability to convert these files to .jpg? Would it be as easy as doing a "File...Save As", or will I need to incorpotate another program? I have the Master Collection, if any of those would be required.

Upon saving, usually there is a progress box in the middle of the screen. It appears after the save begins. Usually the box shows the progress is about half way along, and shortly, it gets to the end, then after a few moments, it eventually disappears and all is saved. However, occasionally, the toolboxes turn black and even flash during the saving process!
It's very strange. I have dual monitors on the computer; the left monitor is for the main application and the right is where I keep all the tool panels, mainly layers, appearance, glyphs, navigator/info, transparency, character/paragraph/opentype, document info/attributes, brushes, graphic styles, gradient and stroke with appearance. I have the UI set to light grey to work with.
Is it possible to use the flash gallery in Lightroom and have a way for the user to right click and save images for themselves? I see that in the simpleviewer there is an option for the user to right click and open the image in a new window so users can save the images from the new window. Is there a way for this in the flash galleries as well?

downsizing my photos useing the `save to web' option, thus reducing the pixels so that I can use them on my web site. However, something strange has suddenly happened when I use the save to web option and instead of being saved in the new smaller format, my pictures simply morph back to their origional size.
I am using Adobe Photoshop CC and I want to crop an image by a specific Width x Height. In previous versions of Photoshop, I was easily able to select the crop tool and input the dimensions up top where it would be labeled as W x H. Now, there are no options for W x H now and all I can choose are weird ratios. I have looked online on how to use the crop tool, and every single tutorial I've looked at says to use the Width x Height option, AKA unconstrained, but that doesn't exist. Instead, all I can choose are ratios and there are arrows in between the input boxes instead of an "x" symbol. I've attached an image to show what few options I have, none of which are Width x Height or unconstrained.

But once the action is played, regardless of the original format the saved image should be, it gives it an html filename extension.

I have spoken about this bug with a friend that is a computer programmer. Considering that the action is saving the file correctly, and it's only the name that is not saving properly indicates that this is a superficial error, and not an issue that would require rewriting the code completely. Also consider that this WAS functioning properly in CS5, and that this is a very easily reproducible bug.
The color space on the selected images appears to be changing when I use the Lightroom flash gallery in the web module of LR4.1. This stays the same when the gallery is uploaded. In previous version of LR I have seen color changes in the web module but they have been corrected (and correct) when the gallery is uploaded to the 'net.
I have read that this was (previously) a problem with the flash gallery specifically becuase it was not colour magaded, but I understood that this had been corrected for LR4. As far as my use is concerned it's actually more problematic now than it has been previously.
I have a problem with Illustrator CS6: anytime I try to export file to PNG, it saves a file of exactly 102 kb and the file is essentially empty. Is it a bug in Illustrator.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI may just be missing something here. If I open an image in photoshop and crop it, the image shows up at the new cropped size and I can then save the new image. I have 1000 people images with all different sizes but the same ratio. My hope is to create an action that crops a photo to a standard size and then saves into another folder.
So I started my new action and did the crop and saved. Then I ran this action using automate and batch. The processing does happen but the images are cropped and then remain in a black box the size of the original photo. This is a problem for me... I only want to see the resized photo.

View 2 Replies View RelatedRecently I upgraded to Lightroom 5.0. I have been noticing that when I export images at 1000px max and 100% quality, the image is very grainy. I can open that same image in Photoshop CC from Lightroom, resize the image to 1000px max, and save, and the image looks great.The first photo is the Lightroom 5.0 export. The second is the Photoshop CC resize and save. never had this issue with any earlier version of Lightroom and I have been using it since version 1.0.

I have been using previous versions of PS for many years and have never had this problem. PS CS6 suddenly will not allow me to save any images. I get a message saying that either another application is using the file, or that I do not have permission to save it in which case I should allow permission in "Get info".
I have checked under "get info" and the image is not locked. I have tried saving it as an administrator also... I have even tried saving it to many other files on my computer with no luck. There is no other application running on my system which could be using the file. I have tried saving Jpegs, Tiffs, and PSD documents, and none of them will save, whether I perform minor adjustments on the file or whether I perform many adjustments.

I was wonder why I'm not able to save some img's in RGB mode, size about 10mgp as JPG.Just to use regular Save as? I know that I could go through Save for web.. but it's more steps but othervoce is the same?

I still do not get the option to save as jpg. I understand that JPEG2000 gives more information etc but at this stage there are very few places that can view .jpf files. I am an artist and have been asked to create 11 color drawings for a book. I created the drawings and scanned them to my iMac OS 10.8. I used cs4 to correct the color and crop the images. I saved the images in CMYK fomat and emailed them to the publisher. The publisher received the, is able to open the images and when they try to make any changes to the images they are not able to save the changes. I did make the images read and write, so they aren't protected.
My question is why are they not able to save the cropping changes they require?
