Photoshop :: Export Video Files Or Image Sequences?
Mar 30, 2012Export video files or image sequences?
View 4 RepliesExport video files or image sequences?
View 4 RepliesI want to create a file with image sequences; not a video file, a long png file. Example: I have 10 jpeg or bmp images, each image needs to sit at the side of the last image in a line, so instead of stacking the images one on top of the other as the Scripts > Load into a stack would do, I would have 10 images side by side, abit like the three images below but butted up to each other on the right-hand side. Is it possible to automate this task?Is there a script already made for this?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've downloaded the trial of Photoshop CS6, and imported image sequences and video files. But whenever I use a filter or make another edit, it only affects the frame currently being displayed. Is there any way to apply a change to all frames of the sequence or video at once?
View 3 Replies View RelatedAfter assembling the render output of my 3d app in photoshop (32bit) and changing the appearance via several CC layers in different layer modes (e.g. Hue/saturation in Overlay mode) I ended up with my composing for print purposes. The comp is complex, with several masked folders, single masked CC layers and many image layers (some with masks). Now the client wanted me to animate part of the image. No problem I thought. But the trap is of how to assemble the different image sequences (diffuse, specular, reflection, masks, etc, etc). I came up with a PS action which loaded the single images and arranged them in the same fashion as the master file. But now PS doesn't load the incremental images for the batch processing. Images are named in a Diffuse_00001, Specular_00001, ... fashion. Loading the first set works, but from Diffuse_00002 everything goes wrong and PS load the 00001 files (except from one file which loads in the proper incremental way). I can't transfer this stuff to AE as it is much too complex and I do no AE only very little. I guess PS should be capable to solve this batch task, but a simple action via batch seems to fail.
View 1 Replies View RelatedSo what I need to do is to take the following
Â
filename (1) from Folder (A)
filename (1) from Folder (B)
Â
Open in Photoshop and run an applescript to combine the two images and save the result to a location.
Â
Then
Â
filename (2) from Folder (A)
filename (2) from Folder (B)
Â
Run the batch again and again until all images in the sequence are processed in both folders.
Â
Was looking into an Applescript that may do the job but can't seem to find anything. Happy to look at purchasing a solution if it is available.
I am trying to relink still images in Smoke. I have .tif files and were taken by a still photographer. As I'm relinking to the original sources, Smoke is identifying sequential file names as image sequences and it's not available in the Potential Matches as a link option. For other stills in the same folder where there is a break in a numeric filename sequence, Smoke identifies and relinks just fine.
Â
Is there an option to ignore image sequence identification?
Â
I also run into this for other elements where are numbered by designers like credits_01, credits_02, etc.
Â
Using Extension for Smoke for Mac 2013.
I need to open about 50 folders and extract the image sequences within the folders from my library. A flame demo artist showed me how to do it at NAB and I can't remember how to do it now.
View 2 Replies View RelatedIs there away to "one-click" export an image to a set of .png files with different resolutions? (I need this for a set of iOS app icons).
Â
For example: Export a file MyAppIcon.psd into the following:
MyAppIcon_29x29.png
MyAppIcon_57x57.png
MyAppIcon_114x114.png
MyAppIcon_512x512.png
MyAppIcon_48x48.png
MyAppIcon_72x72.png
Â
I almost succeeded in doing this with Photoshop Actions, but can't figure out how to make the file names include the original image file name. In other words, file NewApp.psd should export to NewApp_29x29.png, not MyAppIcon_29x29.png.
Is there any way for CorelDraw X6 to export very large TIFF files? e.g. greater than 30,000 pixels in each dimension? I am currently running X5 on XP 32-bit and it cannot seem to handle it, even though Photo-Paint appears to have the ability.I finally manage to get our IT guys to give me a Win7 64-bit test machine for me to trial X6 64-bit, but seems to only do marginally better than my X5 installation. The test machine already has 7GB RAM installed plus a very, very large drive.I also had to run the same test on Adobe Illustrator and it was able to deal with this very quickly and smoothly, no troubles at all.You may find it hard to believe, but I actually like using CorelDraw :-), which is so far the standard package for our company, but if I cannot get X6 doing what we want, I'm afraid it's the end of the line.
View 14 Replies View Relatedeasy way to import 2 sets of image sequences into AE and have them side by side, so both sets will be inside 1 frame.Example of what I'm doing is having a phone conversation, instead of switching back and forth between the actors (image sequences) I want to see them both at the same time next to each other.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI recently purchased Video Studio Pro X3 - and after going through the knowledge base and product read me, I have been unable to find an answer to the following problem I have:
PROBLEM:
I have a number of videos (HD 1080p) that I have recorded. Each video is on average 50 minutes in length - what I want to do it to be able to do is to slice this video into 10 x 5 minute videos (based on topics discussed in the video), (so essentially clip the video into these segments and edit each one) and then when producing the video file - actually create 10 separate video files (all with editing in place) instead of one single large file.
As far as I have been able to work out, I need to go through the whole file, clip relevant sections, edit them, and then save project. I then need to go trim the saved file 10 times, to extract each time the single 5 minute video I want to create. This is a fairly manual and time consuming process, hence my hope that I can create 10 files based on the clips I have made in the larger 50 minute file in one go.
as I have 30 videos to edit, so looking for ways to save time!
i'm trying to export a video clip in photoshop cs3, but in the render video dialog the "export quicktime" checkbox is greyed out - it will only let me export an image sequence (jpg).
this worked before, i can't figure out what it might be. i tried another file, the box is greyed out there as well.
Photoshop CS6 Extened won't play or process Dolby Digital (AC-3) Audio Files from my AVCHD video files. The video plays fine just no sound at all. When processed still no sound. Are there any (AC-3) audio codecs I can download and install. How would I install them. Do I need to convert audio files to another format & if so how & what format.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a few MOV format videos that I need to rotate and re-save with PS CS6. I've never tried video editing with Photoshop, and this must be the most basic of basic starts in my next career as a film producer. I assume I just go to Image > Image Rotation as one does with image files? Then when I export the video, and select QuickTime MOV format, the resulting file does not actually have any video in it -- only audio. And despite having no video apparently, the file size is huuuge.
Â
I have QuickTime viewer installed, but do not have a licence for QuickTime full version. Is that it?
Â
Shall I just export to mp4 and be done with it? I would prefer to be consistent... so that I have all MOV files (I won't have to rotate / edit all video files, only some).
In CS5 I could export my video files as AVI. Where can I find this option in CC?

I search for solutions from the net but can't find any answer can solve the problem, I have also update the Adobe Media Encoder, and check I have the latest version of Photoshop, but the problem persist.

1) I can open a video and play it back at the speed of the video.
Â
2) I can not get playback faster than 1 fps if there are any filters applied - the pre-render / buffering isn't working at all.
Â
3) I can not "Render Video" by choosing either "Render Video from the menus or the Export Arrow button in the GUI.
As soon as I select either I get a Progress Bar that that says "Initializing Video Export" but never finishes. I have waited as long as 4hrs and still no dice.I've tried with more than a few different videos and the result is always he same. Here are three of the videos I have tried with:

View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to add lossless CODECs (e.g., FFV1, Lagarith) to Photoshop (and Premiere and After Effects and Adobe Media Encoder) so that I can generate archival videos with the highest possible lossless compression ratios. I've installed several CODECs, but none of them appear in Photoshop's 'Export Video' options, for example. How do I get these CODECs to appear?

For the record, I'm using CS5.
When frames from the timeline are saved using export video, some layer effects display differently from how the frame looks in the timeline. It seems as if some layer effects are based on the layer effect settings for a different frame (for that layer effect setting) 1 rather than the actual frame visible in the timeline.

I'm trying to figure out how to export stills at separate points in a video, exporting 1 still with 15 seconds of space between them throughout the whole video file.
What I'm trying to do is to export hundreds of images from a movie but with some space between them.
I tried creating a batch that jumps ahead in the timeline 15 sec, but I cannot figure out how to export a frame at that point and then continue jumping forward 15 sec to do the same again. I want this to automate throughout an entire feature film.
I have prepared an animated video in Photoshop/ImageReaday (CS2). How to I export it to an editable Flash file?
I tried Export > Macromedia® Flash SWF but when I opened the resulting file in Flash (CS3) I found it was not editable. I need to be able to access the timeline and layers.

Hitting continue does nothing and the application just hangs on the video export progress bar.I've attempted to export several types of PSD files to video, some old, some new (made in CS6) and I always get this error. I have reset Photoshops preferences. I have uninstalled the entire CS6 suite and reinstalled it.

I tried to add the dump file as an attachment but the .DMP extension is not allowed.
Videostudio X3 crashes everytime I try to export a video. It doesn't matter the file type inputed or how you are trying to export it. It even crashes when trying to export one of the default title screens included with the program. Have tried a clean install with no luck. I have also insured I am using the latest version.
