View 10 Replieshow to fix an audio issue with exporting video from Photoshop.I am choosing the quick time format however the option for sound is always grayed out. from the animation panel I have the audio enabled and I can hear it when I play back from within Photoshop.
I am using Photoshop CS4 extended on PC Windows 7.I understand the following -
-For audio I need to choose Quicktime format
-Photoshop is primarily image editing software (with video capabilities)
I create short videos using the PS frame animation panel. I used to be able to FILE-export-render video- and choose MPEG-4 Video in the settings panel which would render my file into a small .mov file. Now in CS6 the new render video panel does not have that option. I tried the QT options in the export window and my file is hugh! The H.264 option gives me an .mp4. I put the .mp4 into my web page via Dreamweaver and my video does not play when uploaded into the sever. The video plays fine in Dreamweaver before I upload to the server. After I upload to the server I just get a Q and no video on my web page. If I render the same file in CS5 I am able to view it in my web page. ADOBE WHY DID YOU CHANGE YOUR EXPORT VIDEO RENDERING OPTIONS in CS6?

I can still drag/cut/paste the path into Illustrator, so I haven't been stopped, but why the export option isn't showing up?
I'm familiar with using photoshop edit photos, but new to video. Currently using Photoshop CC, I want to use Photoshop to edit some short video clips, after apply curve adjustment layer. try to render the video but encounter this problem.
"Could not complete the Render Video command because of a problem with Adobe Media Encoder."
I search for solutions from the net but can't find any answer can solve the problem, I have also update the Adobe Media Encoder, and check I have the latest version of Photoshop, but the problem persist.

I have prepared an animated video in Photoshop/ImageReaday (CS2). How to I export it to an editable Flash file?
I tried Export > Macromedia® Flash SWF but when I opened the resulting file in Flash (CS3) I found it was not editable. I need to be able to access the timeline and layers.
How do I export my video to 720p mp4 file format?
I can't find the option. In fact I can't find many options. The custom settings are not very custom really as the choice is very limited or none.
Is it possible to export a part of the timeline to a new video file?
So if I have a 10 min video in the timeline, I would like to "mark in" and "mark out" from 3m02s to 5m30s, and create a new file.
I used to use Edius I could mark in and mark out from time to time and export to a new video file. Is there a workaround in Videostudio ?
I'm editing a training video, and would like to export different "chapters" to seperate video files, so I can upload the seperate videos to the web, and not have to export the entire video, as this would be too big.
my 'Convert To Video Timeline' Option has gone missing from my Photoshop. I'm using Photoshop CS6 Extended Version.I have tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it numerous times.I have tried running it in 32-bit as well as 64-bit.The option isn't in the Panel Fly-Out menu either.I have also noticed that I can no longer open videos in Photoshop.I have tried resetting my Preferences, as well.

View 4 Replies View RelatedIf I have two cameras pointing toward one subject (say someone being interviewed) what would be the best way to place the two video tracks in X3?
One I would be the main video track, but would the other have to be the over lay track? Is there an option to create a 2nd main video track that I could switch between? So when I am editing an interview clip I could pick between video track 1 or 2 and choose the angle I want?
Is there a way to disable lightroom 4 from importing or processing any file with a video extension mkv, 3gpp etc, as its really slowing down my workflow.
My typically workflow consists of pulling my files off of my memory carsd manually via explorer (into a specific folder under a root folder which I create manually). I then synchronise the root folder in lightroom.
Unfortunately LR4 seems to take over and hour to do this since I have a lot of uncateloged videos. LR fails each time to catalog the videos.
LR3, since it didn't support video, was blazingly fast and performing the same operations in LR3 takes minutes as oppose to hours.
When I use 'kAISaveDocumentAsAction' to play action event, the pdf option dialog shows up, as in the following piece of code:

i'm trying to export a video clip in photoshop cs3, but in the render video dialog the "export quicktime" checkbox is greyed out - it will only let me export an image sequence (jpg).
this worked before, i can't figure out what it might be. i tried another file, the box is greyed out there as well.
I recently purchased Video Studio Pro X3 - and after going through the knowledge base and product read me, I have been unable to find an answer to the following problem I have:
PROBLEM:
I have a number of videos (HD 1080p) that I have recorded. Each video is on average 50 minutes in length - what I want to do it to be able to do is to slice this video into 10 x 5 minute videos (based on topics discussed in the video), (so essentially clip the video into these segments and edit each one) and then when producing the video file - actually create 10 separate video files (all with editing in place) instead of one single large file.
As far as I have been able to work out, I need to go through the whole file, clip relevant sections, edit them, and then save project. I then need to go trim the saved file 10 times, to extract each time the single 5 minute video I want to create. This is a fairly manual and time consuming process, hence my hope that I can create 10 files based on the clips I have made in the larger 50 minute file in one go.
as I have 30 videos to edit, so looking for ways to save time!
I am having trouble with the image sizing feature of Lightroom 4.3. In working with a batch of RAW files that I am exporting as JPEGS, I want to resize some down to a smaller size yet I do not want to make the images that are already smaller than my target dimension larger, I find that Lightroom resizes everything to the dimensions I have specified. This happens even when I check the “Do Not Enlarge” box. For example, if I am exporting 100 images in a photo set of which 90 images are 5555 pixels on the long end and 10 images are 3333 pixels on the long end and I specify that I want to resize to a dimension of 4444 px, Lightroom will resize all 100 images to 4444 px, even when I have checked the “Do Not Enlarge box”. What I want Lightroom to do is resize the 5555 px images to 4444 px, but export the smaller images in their original 3333 pixel size. I thought by checking “Do Not Enlarge” the files smaller than my resize dimension, would remain smaller. However, I have recently noticed that all the images are being resized, even the smaller ones despite me checking “Do Not Enlarge”.
View 3 Replies View RelatedJust updated my LR to 5.3 from the CC and noticed a weird problem that I never encountered before in LR4 or 5.x (before 5.3 that is). I usually export pictures from RAW format to either TIFF or JPG (100% quality) and depending on purpose I use batch resizing, e.g. 1080 pixels on short edge ... well that whole Resize setting gets ignored by LR 5.3! It still exports full size (full RAW size in this case) into JPG or TIFF, but it won't resize .
EDIT:
I found out that I checked the "Don't enlarge" box in Export dialog under Resizing, that's when resizing was not working. After I unchecked it then it works fine, but still what does that have to do with anything if we are talking about downsampling images from 5184x3456 pixels to 1620x1080 ...
I can't find an option to export to PNG format in LR 4.3.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a friend who is just completing a film for a public screening...(about 400 people, mostly volunteers involved in production.)He will be using a regular projector hooked up to a PC to play the video. The source footage is 1080p HD shot on a HVX200. Edited on Premiere Pro CS5.
What format should he use to export so he gets great quality but it can also play without the computer stuttering and dying etc? We've debated between H.264 (mpeg 4 file format) or DVD Blu Ray.MPEG 2 (or some Quicktime format?)
Do we choose h.264 and bump up the bitrate to maximum? Stick with the preset recommendation? There also is h.'264 bluray'..have no idea what difference that makes.
We're not experts on codecs and resolutions etc.Premiere Pro presents this plethora of options.
We want to choose....File ...Export....a format and preset (and maybe adjust a setting or two) and get the best result.
I have a few MOV format videos that I need to rotate and re-save with PS CS6. I've never tried video editing with Photoshop, and this must be the most basic of basic starts in my next career as a film producer. I assume I just go to Image > Image Rotation as one does with image files? Then when I export the video, and select QuickTime MOV format, the resulting file does not actually have any video in it -- only audio. And despite having no video apparently, the file size is huuuge.
I have QuickTime viewer installed, but do not have a licence for QuickTime full version. Is that it?
Shall I just export to mp4 and be done with it? I would prefer to be consistent... so that I have all MOV files (I won't have to rotate / edit all video files, only some).
I'm trying to export 3D models from AutoCAD 2011 to AutoMod Simulation software. However, every different export filetype that I try does not allow me to bring the model into AutoMod and still have the colors that the model had in AutoCAD. For example, If I create a car and it has several colors for the metal, the wheels, and the windshield, it brings it over as a single block, all in red. I'm not sure how to fix this. In the old models, I used to use 3DSOUT command, but that doesn't look like an option any longer.
View 3 Replies View RelatedJust downloaded and installed this pack as was keen to see the Export Civil 3D drawing functionality but can't see any great advantages over the standard Export to AutoCAD option.
In fact in the drawing I tried all the surfaces were ignored whereas they were exploded to 3D faces in the standard Export optionAre there, in fact, any advantages to using the Productivity pack version of the Export to Autocad routine?
This is such a common task, there may be cause to have a Resize option bundled with the Export command. Having to always perform them as two separate steps is an annoyance, but the possibility of accidentally saving the wrong resolution back to the XCF file is a danger.
A question that asked late last year as I had a need to resize and keep working on original. That's when I found the save for web had been reinstated as 2.6.
Part of the motivation for the save/export distinction in the firstplace is later being able to introduce such improvements to exportworkflows (as well as other neat things; like being able to choosebetween export presets, multiple named regions - and more). Without aclear conceptual internal seperation - such future improvements willbe much harder.
Would it be possible to automatically set the name of the folder in the "put in subfolder" export option, based on that image metadata (or on a preset, as it is, for example, for filenames)? Maybe a plugin? - image in "summer 2013" gets exported in "summer 2013 jpg" subfolder, where "summer 2013" is taken from the "folder" metadata and "jpg" either from the filetype or manually added.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to add lossless CODECs (e.g., FFV1, Lagarith) to Photoshop (and Premiere and After Effects and Adobe Media Encoder) so that I can generate archival videos with the highest possible lossless compression ratios. I've installed several CODECs, but none of them appear in Photoshop's 'Export Video' options, for example. How do I get these CODECs to appear?
For the record, I'm using CS5.
When frames from the timeline are saved using export video, some layer effects display differently from how the frame looks in the timeline. It seems as if some layer effects are based on the layer effect settings for a different frame (for that layer effect setting) 1 rather than the actual frame visible in the timeline.
