Usually when I type in CS6, it will just be like typing normal. Except all of a sudden when I type. The sentance starts to move backwards and when I put something like a ? or a ! the symbols will go to the beggining of the sentance.

it is putting all punctuation at the start of the sentence.
Example i want to type
What i get is: (exclamation mark at the start of the sentance)
So far I have:
Reinstalled photoshop
Changed the language prefs from East Asian and Middle Eastern (both give the same result)
Trashed all my prefs
Checked other apps (all fine)
Used different typefaces (all act the same)
when i started typing on my GIF image, the little guide, the line that blinks on and off to show your position is all the way on the left not the right. So when i would type the line moves to the left and pushes the words to the right.

View 36 Replies View RelatedI've been working on several files for some package design. Every time I try to replace some text that happens to be sitting over a linked photo, illustrator freezes up and crashes. Every single time without fail, it fails.
I tried to move the same piece of text off the artboard, modify it, and move it back, but it crashed even while off the board (and not on top of an image).
I'm running Windows 7, up to date on all software (windows & adobe included). Using Illustrator cs6, 64bit. I'm running on a new machine as well - though I was having this issue on another computer as well.
What is the best way to underline one word in a sentence. I am using Photoshop CC on Windows 8.
Ex: The cow jumped over the moon

Not sure if this is expected behavior but I've found that it's only possible to snap to one type of guide/grid at any given time.
For example if you want to snap to a guideline in the horizontal and the pixel grid in the vertical, you won't be able to. Instead, the snap will work on the guide and completely ignore the pixel grid.

Is it masked ?
Its like the other half of the text is invinsible.
I want to create the effect with a photoshop tool that makes one side of a text sentence look smaller than the other, as if you were looking at your tv from a side angle and the part of the sentence closest to you looks a little bit larger than the side of the text furtherst from you.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI added Keywords to many jpg files when I should have added them to their scanned source files (tifs). Is there an efficient way to copy them from the jpg versions to their tif “originals?” Except for the suffixes, they are identically named. I know the keywords assigned to any one jpg can be dragged to its tif version (or to any any other image file).
But I have about nine thousand of them, each with its own set of keywords, and each with its own tif source file (with no keywords). Is there a way to automate this transfer en mass? Is there a way to tell the jpgs to transfer their keyword metadata to other files with the same names (minus prefix) or to any other files?
I’m using Bridge3 OSX but will use any software that can do this.
I have been working on my third sig, my biggest project yet. I would like to include a video. I have resized the video and put it in a set. I would like the movie clip to play forwards and right after that, backwards for a smooth and continuous repeated play. If it makes a difference, my movie clip contains 52 frames and is played at normal speed.
View 1 Replies View RelatedWhy does my text lose its sentence structure when I save my file as an ai, PDF, or EPS and then bring that file back into Illustrator? I've set numerous bodies of text using the text box and also without the text box. It doesn't matter. I will bring that same document back into Illustrator and my full sentences will be chopped up. A full line of text, for instance, while keeping its format, will become fragmented once it's been dropped back into Illustrator. It's very frustrating. If I need to add a character to a fragmented sentence, it will shift the part of that sentence over that I'm adjusting, but other parts will not move so now I'm typing a letter over another letter.
I can make a text box and copy all my text, then paste it into that text box and all the sentences become connected again but I lose the formatting in the process. BUT, again, once that document is saved and brought back into AI, the sentences will again be fragmented.
Why can't I see the cursor when I need to change a word or sentence?

Consider a photo with the buildings are falling over backwards for the obvious reason. In Photoshop CS2 one could select Crop, click the “Perspective” box, then drag the top corners independent form one another to align them with some vertical lines in the photo. If there is no vertical line near the edge, one could temporarily drag the side of the crop tool to a vertical line before using the top corner to slant the vertical side of the crop tool to follow a vertical line in the photo. Then drag the two vertical sides of the crop tool back so that their bottom corners coincide with the bottom of the photo, double click, and your building has vertical sides. How can I do this in Elements 12?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI use the Selection/Move tool a lot in Illustrator, but this never happened in CS3 or CS4: If I select a mark or a shape to move a specific amount, click on the Selection arrow to specify the distance, using a minus sign if I want the object to move down-screen, when I click on OK, the object moves up-screen. Is this the new, improved, Illustrator? I mean, all right, I can get used to changes in conventions, but isn't this sort of an unlikely change? Aren't there other improvements to be made in the app? Is it me, or is it Illustrator?
