Photoshop Elements :: Turn Just One Word In A Sentence Upside Down As Opposed To All Flipped
Apr 5, 2013
how I can turn just one word in a sentence upside down, as opposed to all flipped. Im trying to make one word stand out whilst designing in a text sentence window.
I'm having an issue with draping a google earth image onto a surface that was imported at the same time. The image flips over and shrinks down into one corner. Not sure shat I'm doing wrong, if it's just a setup problem or an actual bug or something. I have the image attached.
I have been asked to make a postcard, but the problem is I have only ever used Photoshop for web images, ie at 72 dpi.
I was wondering, what resolution do I have to use for print materials? 300 dpi?
Also, if I have an image taken from a website can I just put it in photoshop and change the resolution to 300 dpi, then use it in a print project? Is such a thing workable?
Or, do I have to use images with a starting resolution of 300 dpi?
Is there a quick and dirty way of rounding specific corners verses all 4. I want to round the top of a photo and leave the bottom square. I suppose I could round all 4 and then lay the bottom half the picture back over top,
How can I use selections in Elements in word and Print Shop or anything else so they still have a transparent background. Even if I save them with a transparent background, when I insert or copy the image into another program it has a white background.
How to export the .dwg file to Microsoft WORD as a base/background for further word processing on top? Is there any direct way to convert the file that can use in WORD?
Usually when I type in CS6, it will just be like typing normal. Except all of a sudden when I type. The sentance starts to move backwards and when I put something like a ? or a ! the symbols will go to the beggining of the sentance.
Photoshop CS6 (reinstalled fresh today from Creative cloud) Mac OSX 10.8.2 Macbook Pro Fontcase 2.1.1
it is putting all punctuation at the start of the sentence.
Example i want to type
What i get is: (exclamation mark at the start of the sentance)
So far I have:
Reinstalled photoshop Changed the language prefs from East Asian and Middle Eastern (both give the same result) Trashed all my prefs Checked other apps (all fine) Used different typefaces (all act the same)
I entered a long sentence in Text Command and only 1st half is being shown. If I click T and select all it shows all the words, but normal select mode only half is being displayed.
Is it masked ?
Its like the other half of the text is invinsible.
I want to create the effect with a photoshop tool that makes one side of a text sentence look smaller than the other, as if you were looking at your tv from a side angle and the part of the sentence closest to you looks a little bit larger than the side of the text furtherst from you.
I just downloaded the 3ds Max trial, after useing blender and gmax for a few years, and I have been watching youtube videos on how to make maps halo custom edition, and to create the level I have to flip a box before I start working on it, and when I flip it, the box is flipped, but the Outside part I thought is suppost to be transparrent. How am I suppost to work on the inside if I can't get to it. I was thinking it could be the view, but that never worked.
I am Trying out Light room and so far notfinding it not very friendly. when I open a Folder of pictures. even though Ichoose certain one to create a Photo Album to put on a Website it wants to put everything in not just what I select.
Extricate this sentence from picture? I need to have these 2 words whole white on clear black background. I need to know what filters should I use to do this.
Why does my text lose its sentence structure when I save my file as an ai, PDF, or EPS and then bring that file back into Illustrator? I've set numerous bodies of text using the text box and also without the text box. It doesn't matter. I will bring that same document back into Illustrator and my full sentences will be chopped up. A full line of text, for instance, while keeping its format, will become fragmented once it's been dropped back into Illustrator. It's very frustrating. If I need to add a character to a fragmented sentence, it will shift the part of that sentence over that I'm adjusting, but other parts will not move so now I'm typing a letter over another letter.
I can make a text box and copy all my text, then paste it into that text box and all the sentences become connected again but I lose the formatting in the process. BUT, again, once that document is saved and brought back into AI, the sentences will again be fragmented.
