I am using a trial download of PSE11, and find that some of the functions [that I have been using for many years on several iterations of PSE] are greyed out and not usuable. Is that becuase I haveatrial edition? I want ot use custom rotate to straghten a photo, and "straighten image" is not enough. Why can't I access "custom rotate"?

Is there actually any technical reason why the controls in the attached screenshot are not available in the Studio and normal modelling environments?
I am in perspective view, but when I try to rotate the camera, my mouse turns into a "No" sign (Circle with a cross).

View 1 Replies View RelatedSo in CS5 we were able to print to the custom sizes we created in the print screen for our HP Z3200, but for some reason we haven't been able to use the custom sizes in CS6, you click on a custom size and when you say ok from the printer settings and it goes back into Photoshop print settings it binks back to 8.5x11. You can use the standard sizes that came with the HP print software, but not any custom sizes you create. Is there a setting somewhere in Photoshop that I need to change?

I use bird brushes a lot but have a lot of problems rotating them..What is the best way to rotate a brush tool...an example would be a bird brush or a swirl, in Elements 10. When the angle circle comes up unfortunately that box cannot be moved out of the way so I can see what I am doing.

The old command I used for AutoCAD 2010 was:

But this does not work anymore. So I created this sub but it does not seem to work either.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI created my own tools of own content on my own pallets and then found . you can drag a whole tab into the browser to quickly archive your tools. Having reinstalled I have 'dropped the collections back to ACA12 and all my tools restored.
However I can no longer edit or add to these tool pallets. I cannot edit any properties within tools either. There is no lock symbol on the pallet that I can see, only a refresh symbol.
The .atc file they reference (found from the Content Browser location they came from) is not set to read only. Permissions seem to be set to allow read, modify, write etc. I first used the 'My Tool Catalog' provided but also copied it all back to a new catalog but it's still locked.
I have a floorplan of a building and am labeling exits of the building for evacuation routes. Each exit label is on its own layer. I need to show the floor plan from different perspectives/orientations and therefore need to rotate the exit labels in place on their own individual axis. So far I have been going in and selecting the image (label) on each layer and rotating it 90 degrees and then repeating the process for the next label. When I group the layers they all rotate on one axis and therefore are not near the exit they are supposed to be near. Is there an easier (quicker) way to rotate the labels as I have to do this for four different perspective for each of four floor plans?

I am engraving a company logo on to the outside of a round tube with a custom font. There are two boxes of text that I am engraving. The first box works just fine with the "Emboss" tool. The second line works fine when the "% Stretch" parameter in the text edit window is left at 100%. When I change the "% Stretch" to 85%, I get the "Self-intersecting loop found in this profile" error message. I get this error message when I try stretching it to 115% as well. I changed the font to a standard font and I was able to emboss the text no matter the "% Stretch" value.
The bottom line is Inventor will not emboss text that has a custom font and a modified stretch percentage. This line of text must be stretched to match the company logo.
I created a template part, turned it into an I-part and published it successfully as a Frame Member.
The custom member was published into a custom library that is read/write. I was forced to create this library in order to publish the part.
When I go to use the custom profile with the frame generator, I am able to find the custom member in the dialog but when the frame generator tries to generate the part, I get this error message:
[WARNING] Frame Generator: Errors occurred during inserting Frame Member(s)
[WARNING] Insertion of frame member(s) failed
[ERROR] A frame member could not be created. The template file for Unnamed GIRT-2 could not be located in the Content Center library.
I have created a custom Assembly using Assembly Composer for C3D 2012 and imported it to C3D. Problem is when I try to place the assembly in a drawing.
I get the error message "Unable to execute the tool. Not enough storage is available to complete this operation."

I have attached the PKT file.
I'm in need of fitting 10 groups on a document so that all 10 groups take up the least amount of space. To do that some of the groups need to be rotated when doing this manually. Is there a way for Illustrator to do this automatically? Ditributing and rotating several groups to take up less space on a given document size?
