In the Photoshop Elements 11 editor I have a landscape picture that I want to either free rotate or custom rotate but both options are grayed and I can't figure out how to enable them.Â

I am using a trial download of PSE11, and find that some of the functions [that I have been using for many years on several iterations of PSE] are greyed out and not usuable. Is that becuase I haveatrial edition? I want ot use custom rotate to straghten a photo, and "straighten image" is not enough. Why can't I access "custom rotate"?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI tried to open / import a STEP .stp file into Inventor 2012. I selected all of the options to Autostitch and Promote. But I noticed that I could not select Enable Advance Healing.
1) Is there a reason I can't?
2) is there a better way opening / importing .stp files?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI frequently use ROTATE with the reference option, which is a very useful tool. Just wanted to do this again, but instead of the usual 4 point picking process I am asked to "Specify the reference angle" after choosing "reference". Never came across this before.
Did I unintended change some settings? It´s the first time I use ROTATE after reinstalling my AutoCAD a few days ago.
I've noticed when you tilt things using Rotate/Zoom the edges and some finer details can get quite jaggy.Pretty much like in Shape3D unless you check the AA option and raise the level up to 4/5. Then all the creases are ironed out and detail is kept Is it even possible to put an AA option into Rotate/ Zoom ?

When I create a shape and go to rotate it by selecting the object and hovering near a corner, I'm expecting my selection tool to change to the arc with arrows indicating that I can rotate the object. This isn't happening, the arc is not appearing and my selection tool is turning into an anchor point selection tool.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have created default settings by serial number for my Canon Mark III 1ds which include enabled lens profile corrections. I then created a user preset with these default corrections. Next I imported a folder of RAW images shot with this same Canon camera with the user profile checked as part of the import. When I switch to the Develop module and check the Lens Corrections panel, I see that although it is checked for each file, the actual make, model and profile are not populated.Â

Is this a bug or am I overlooking something on import? I understand that in LR 4, you can apply specific lens and camera calibration profiles to camera serial numbers (noise reduction etc too).

I am working through an AutoCAD training book and on one exercise it tells me to use the Snap Rotate Option and select points A as the new origin and point E as the rotation angle. The problem is that I can't find this Snap Rotate control anywhere.

When using the rotate option in transform tools a very annoying grid pops up. This has never occurred before. It appears to be useless as it rotates with the image. How can I remove it?

How to reenable the "watch folder functionality" in PSE12. It was working before but my catalog became corrupt (according to the tech in Tech Support Chat). I had to delete and manually recreate the catalog. I'm assuming this is the reason the watch folder functionality is no longer working automatically.

View 3 Replies View RelatedDescription of the task: I want to create a tool which is able to visualize the positions of pieces on a game board. At the moment I'm using Photoshop Elements 7. I think the following procedure would be appropriate:
2 layers, the basic layer would show the game board and the images of the pieces would be on the second layer. If I try to do that with Photoshop Elements 7 then each time when I insert an image of a piece a new layer is created. I don't need a layer per figure. Yes, one could reduce a layer afterwards. But it's not so comfortable this way.
In addition the images of the pieces should be movable on the game board. There is the option "free transform" in Photoshop Elements 7 but only one element (one piece) is movable afterwards. All the inserted elements should be movable.
So my question: Is it feasible within Photoshop Elements 7? If not, which version of Photoshop Elements would be adequate or which software do I need?Â

I dont want to have to click through all the windows everytime i want to free rotate the canvas. I'm using a wacom tablet.
I use bird brushes a lot but have a lot of problems rotating them..What is the best way to rotate a brush tool...an example would be a bird brush or a swirl, in Elements 10. When the angle circle comes up unfortunately that box cannot be moved out of the way so I can see what I am doing.Â
