are there tweaking options for filters like Crystalize (under Pixelate filters) or is this just for the CS range of photoshop? I obviously can see the Liquify tweaking options but most of them seem fixed.

However, I noticed that my "Sketch" filters do not include the comic or graphic novel options. Were these two omitted from the Mac-version? Or do I have a faulty copy of the program?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI recently have been creating characatures of cars using real photos; then tweaking and stretching them to get a good "base" to start with. Then the rest is all freehand with a mouse. (A Wacom pen would work much easier I'm sure) The thing is that it takes me literally hours to color in and shade. So I figured you guys probably know a shortcut to "tweak" photo's and just have to touch up for the final result.

Is there a comparable way to tweak brush HARDNESS on a PC as you can on a Mac? I didn't know what to expect but when performance went from bad to worse and each click on LR resulted in (not responding), I became very concerned. I did research and couldn't find anything so I looked at my swap file and tweaked it. I added swap files to all of my drives, physical and virtual. For now that seems to be working.

I have hardly ever used filters for any of my work as I have preferred using Xara's native tools and effects to get what I wanted. But recently, I was inspired by some animation work which used backgrounds painted in Photoshop. They used a lot of textures which enhanced the look of the animation and so I thought I'd try to simulate it within Xara.
It works very well and I can export it as a PSD retaining the layers and Alpha channel. But here come my questions.
1. How can I remove the two Alien Skin demo plugins as I already have the full versions.
2. Why don't the native Photoshop plugins--Artistic, Sketch, etc.--seem to work?

My PSE 5 lets me print an 8 X 10 photo with choice of borders using the "print multiple photos" feature. Will either of these newer PSE versions also print an 8 X 10 as well? I downloaded the PSE 11 trial version, which seemed to allow only up to 5 X 7 prints.

But I'm missing two options in this tool. The first is to make sub-folders with the capture-date without spaces between the date (spaces are still problems for some programs). The second option is a second location where the data is copied for backup. Is there a possibility to do this two options with the program or can you make an update in the future that include this two options.

View 2 Replies View RelatedPSE11, expert mode, when select enhance/adjust levels/lighting - the histogram does not 'pop up' as it did before, instead the dropper draw icon is enable and the only way to disable the dropper is alt F4, this is happening with other enhance options as well.
Note that the quick and guided mode are still working.
Expert mode was working fine till about 2 weeks ago, the only updates that have been done to the laptop have been the microsoft auto updates.

Have done an uninstall and reinstalled, but the issue still remains.
Need to understand what has caused the expert mode enhance options to be unusable.
Recently I downloaded the PSE 9 program from a disk onto my new computer. When I opened it to use I am unable to find under "Organize" the "File", "Edit", "Find", "View", "Window" and "Help" on the upper bar/area. I uninstalled and reinstalled the program but still do not see those options. I'm just begining to learn about PSE 9, so am new to all this.
What am I missing or not doing exactly right that I'm have dificulty trying to view and use the above? I can start to use the program with photos download on my computer, camera or external hard drive.
I have adobe photoshop elements 11. I am trying to figure out how to make the options bar and tool icons larger. I am straining my neck and eyes everytime I need to change tools, or change image size/resolution or save my image.
