Photoshop Elements :: Why Did Some Of The Filters In PSE11 Stopped Working
Oct 27, 2013I can't use some of the filters (comic, pen and ink) in Photoshop Elements 11 (for Mac) since yesterday. They worked perfectly before... I have tryed to reset the default preferences, but it didn't give any result.

Photoshop :: CS3 Blur Filters Stopped Working
Aug 3, 2008I have been using PS for years and CS3 for months. A few days ago, all the blur filters stopped working. They are still in the filter list, but nothing happens when I click on them. However, the blur tool still works. All other filters and plug ins work (except where the plugin makes use of the built in blur filters). I have tested many images, checked that I am in RGB 8 bit mode, removed and reinstalled Photoshop, reset the preferences using ctrl-shift-alt on start up. Still nothing.

After Effects :: Shift+F9 Stopped Working / And Browse Presets Does Nothing
Jul 23, 2013While working with my Easy Ease, the SHIFT+F9 just no longer works or hasn't since installation. SHIFT+CTRL+F9, or F9 work as intended.(I checked the pref text file for my keyboard short cuts and SHIFT+F9 is assigned correctly)
Now when I create a preset then wish to view or browse my presets I click Animation > Browse Preset, and nothing happens.(Made a shortcut to my preset folder)

Feb 14, 2014I installed an action in my PSE 10 It did not work and kept layer styles and photo effects from showing up. I deleted the action--still not showing up so I reset my computer to a time prior to the installation--still no styles or effects.

Nov 24, 2013When i open Adobe Photoshop Elements 6, which i have used for quite some time and its always worked, it now had a blank window pop up and it will no longer let me create new documents, open old ones or use any features. Basically it just freezes and doesn't even let me quit the program, i have to force quit it every time.

The next photo I went to use the healing brush and received an error notice that I usually associate with the cloning tool. The error reads "alt-click to define a source point to be used to repair the image". I have done a restart as well as checked for any available updates. All to no avail.

Nov 28, 2012The lasso selection tool in PSE9 is malfunctioning. When I draw a selection, I immediately get a message saying: "Warning: No pixels are more than 50% selected. The selection edges will not be visible."
This is the kind of message I would normally get when I select wrong numbers for feathering. But now the message comes up when I use the lasso tool to try to select an area. When I hit cancel the message, the selection disappears. But the pulldown menu shows that I can "deselect." When I do that, and start all over, I get the same problem.
I quit and restarted PSE9 to try to fix this but it didn't work. Then I restarted my Mac computer, but that didn't fix it either

For some reason it suddenly stopped working! The black circle doesn't appear when I click my mouse. I have reset the tool to no avail.

Oct 22, 2012I have been using Elements for quite a few years and have had no problem in resizing images until last week. I often use the option of resizing using the cm measurements I want. When I tried this on my laptop last week the programme would not allow me to change any of the figures in the resizing dialog box. I tried cm, pixels and percentage and none of them would work.
I tried a number of different images from one file but could not resize any of them however I opened an image from another file which I know i have resi9zed in the past and this time the function worked fine.
I copied the image I couldn't resize to my main computer which also has Photoshop Elements and the resize function worked fine on this computer.
I uninstalled Elements and then re-installed it on my laptop but still have the same problem. I also have Photosphop Cs4 on my laptop and the resize function has stopped working in this programme as well.
