Photoshop Elements :: Sketch Filters Don't Include Comic Or Graphic Novel Options
Aug 24, 2013
I bought PSE 11 for Mac a few months ago, and have finally been able to spend some time examining the features. However, I noticed that my "Sketch" filters do not include the comic or graphic novel options. Were these two omitted from the Mac-version? Or do I have a faulty copy of the program?
I just downloaded Elements 11 Editor for mac OSX 10.9, and when I try to use any of the new filters (comic, Graphic Novel, etc), it crashes. What do I do?
are there tweaking options for filters like Crystalize (under Pixelate filters) or is this just for the CS range of photoshop? I obviously can see the Liquify tweaking options but most of them seem fixed.
We have one template that we use for starting all our drawings. This contains all of our layers, layer filters and most commonly used blocks.
Then we have a template file called "Titleblocks" -- this contains one layout for each different size border as well as vport definitions for Plan, Profile or P&P.
When I used the C3D P&P tool to create my sheets, it of course used the Titleblocks template which means that the filters are lost. Is there a relatively simple way to add those filters to my sheets? Each sheet is a layout in a separate dwg file.
I am using Inventor 2013. I want to save an IPT as IGES and include the 3-D sketch. That is a simple operation which was performed correctly. Whe I open the IGES file I want to be able to EDIT the 3-D sketch or our supplier would want the ability to do that.
The 3-D sketch shows up but there is no option to EDIT.

It's a GeForce 7300 (7series) Graphic card and Photoshop doesn't recognize it what can I do? ..and If it is not possible to fix it? Tell me what graphic card I can use .... for 3d options (ASUS P5G41T-M LX motherboard)
Several of my CS5 "Sketch" filters (e.g., Stamp, Photocopy, Halftone) are suddently producing only all-black images, while others are still working correctly.
Im trying to turn in a image into a photocopy. In the filters drop down there the sketch option is not highlited so i cant access this option as well as extract, filter gallery and pattern maker in one section. The section with sketch is also not letting me acces artistic, brush strokes, pixalate and texture. also dimarc isant highlighted. i have reset to default work space reset all tools and brushes what else can i do.
I keep receiving the error "Could not complete your request because of a program error" when trying to access Blending Options for a custom graphic or font. It's completely inaccessible. It used to work just fine.
The only other time I've seen this error is when running an action.

I am editing raw color images in PS CS6. I process them through Adobe Camera Raw into PS. When I apply any of the B&W Sketch filters to the image it changes the image to a B&W negative rather than a B&W positive. The color filters work normally on the same image.
We have about 10,000 photos to scan from my Mother's old albums (80 years of photos). We each have Adobe Photoshop Elements 10. We want to split the photos up and each of us tag different photos (using same tag names) and then be able put it all together so that each of us have the same photos with the same tags.
Trying to create a water bottle lable 8 1/2 by 2 1/2 and i wanted to know if i could do that with photoshop elements.... I also wanted to include my daughters pic on it for her first birthday..
After selecting the first image, I cannot select the subsequent images I want to include in the the multiple image views available in PSE. How to override the PSE and choose the images I want in the multiple views?
when trying to use the graphic novel filter my elements crashes every time, if i use graphic pen it works but on looking at the drop down menu after using graphic pen graphic novel is not in the drop down menu.
I have hardly ever used filters for any of my work as I have preferred using Xara's native tools and effects to get what I wanted. But recently, I was inspired by some animation work which used backgrounds painted in Photoshop. They used a lot of textures which enhanced the look of the animation and so I thought I'd try to simulate it within Xara.
It works very well and I can export it as a PSD retaining the layers and Alpha channel. But here come my questions.
1. How can I remove the two Alien Skin demo plugins as I already have the full versions.
2. Why don't the native Photoshop plugins--Artistic, Sketch, etc.--seem to work?
I have recently purchased anew lap top with Windows 8 (updated to 8.1). i have reloaded my Elements v11, but since the new build, I have been unable to access "Filters".
I'm using photoshop (CS2) to ink/color a webcomic attempt of mine, and I'm a bit stuck for how to do the borders of the individual frames. I tried playing around with the rounded rectangle tool, but I have to be honest I dont have a CLUE what it does or how to use it.
I basically need to make a hollow rectangle with slightly rounded corners about 5-10 pixels thick.
We have Photoshop CS, and we need to make the frames - so we tried using the rectangle tool - but when we do this, we can't draw in the frames, and when we add a new layer and switch to it, the frames vanish.
In CS3 you could change something to make all filters act like smart filters, even though they won't. I found this worked very well, now I have CS4 and would like to do the same but can't remember what to do to make it work.
