Move the tool options from being displayed on the bottom of my workspace to the top (like a bar across the top).
I can't seem to find anything to "drag" it or move it.

My tool options bar at the bottom of the screen all of a sudden disappeared. I need to change the font size. How do I get the tool options bar back?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI just upgraded my mom from PSE5 to PSE11....is there a way to detach the Tool Options from the BOTTOM and move it back up to the top? I'm finding it's confusing her because she likes to have her Photo Bin open at all times and she's used to seeing the Tool Options appear at the top like in previous versions of PSE.
Is there a plugin that can change it or an option someplace I'm missing?

1) when I re-size an image, it doesn't show pixels in the drop-down box under Document Size, and
2) if I manually re-size an image, I can't get the move tool to nudge it into position.
When I click on the Move tool in my Adobe Photoshope Elements 10, it does nothing now. I have to click on the specific layer if I want to move something.

In PSE 10 it was possible to use all tools in one palette with one click in the Quick-Mode. Now in PSE 11 we have to open each individual tool before we can use it? After the action this tool closed, so that we have to open it again in the next step. This takes much more time. Is ist possible to switch back to the arrangement of PSE 10?

View 1 Replies View RelatedIn CS5, the options bar stayed above my toolbar and pallettes, so that my second monitor was free of all tools. Just the image.
But with CS6, it seems the options bar has been moved to the top of my image monitor.
Is there a way to force the options bar back above the tools on my other monitor?!
I am using the trial version of CS5 (probably going to upgrade at the end of the trial), and I've only found one thing about it that I don't like more than CS3. This is VERY VERY annoying, and I'm not sure if it's a glitch, or just a preference that needs to be reset:
When using the move tool, I will move something and it will just snap back to where it originally was. When it snaps back, it might move a few pixels over in the direction I was dragging, but it is definitely not moving to where I want it to go. The only way to get things to move the way I want to is by Free Transform...but it's annoying, when you're trying to design a layout, to have to free transform every element you want to move, first.
I'm guessing that this is a glitch because sometimes it happens and sometimes it doesn't...it's pretty random. I've tried turning Snap on and off, and nothing changes.
I am having a weird issue whenever I make a selection with the pen tool and right click and make it a selection. The selections (dancing ants) go around the outside of it. I know to hit Shift+Ctrl+I and it inverses it normal.

Here's what I am doing:
Clicking on the rounded rectangle and drawing it to the size I want
selecting the marquee tool and selecting the area of the rounded rectangle I want to delete.
After I selected the area with the marquee tool, I press delete and instead of the area I selected being deleted, the whole layer is deleted instead.
We have a title block wherein the Location attribute is normally a single line, but occasionally is two or more lines. Within the title block this attribute is surrounded by lines, left, right, top, bottom.
We would like the bottom line to move down when the user adds additional lines to the attribute.

If I presses and hold the Alt key I see the cursor change from the current tool to the eyedropper tool. This version of GIMP has Layer --> New Layer, but it's not immediately obvious in looking through all the menu bar options where to get to a Layers dialog where I can move layers, rename them, etc.
