Feb 17, 2014I am not able to open tool options on the bottom bar in Photshop Elements 12. This happens when I select the text tool as well as the crop tool.

Jan 14, 2014Recently I downloaded the PSE 9 program from a disk onto my new computer. When I opened it to use I am unable to find under "Organize" the "File", "Edit", "Find", "View", "Window" and "Help" on the upper bar/area. I uninstalled and reinstalled the program but still do not see those options. I'm just begining to learn about PSE 9, so am new to all this.
What am I missing or not doing exactly right that I'm have dificulty trying to view and use the above? I can start to use the program with photos download on my computer, camera or external hard drive.

Jun 22, 2013I just upgraded my mom from PSE5 to PSE11....is there a way to detach the Tool Options from the BOTTOM and move it back up to the top? I'm finding it's confusing her because she likes to have her Photo Bin open at all times and she's used to seeing the Tool Options appear at the top like in previous versions of PSE.
Is there a plugin that can change it or an option someplace I'm missing?

"could not complete your request because the file appears to be from a camera model which is not supported by the installed version of Camera Raw. Please visit the Camera Raw help documentation for additional info."
I am shooting with a Canon 6D and Canon 60D so I know the camera models are supported. I have already updated to the 7.1 version of Camera Raw.

All other aspects of this product opens and works fine . Unfortunately I cannot use the editor or open photos previously modified in the editor. I can open the editor if I log in in safe mode but no other way. I have done 2-3 clean installs as described in previous articles, there are no errors just won't open.

Nov 12, 2013I have installed the trial version of Elements 12 as we are looking at purchase for a client who needs a simple and inexpensive program to look at EPS files and save them as JPGs. Elements 12 says that an EPS file can be 'imported' as a supported file type, however when I click on File -> Import, it comes up with WIA Support, then when I click on that and select the EPS file, it says "No WIA compatible devices were detected. Check that your device is plugged in to the computer and the power is turned on".
I have seen an article on how to import into Elements 11, but the options are not available in 12 (probably due to the fact that 12 is supposed to natively import the format). As I understand the trial is a fully-functioning package with no options turned off until purchase.
