With PS Elements 12 Is there an option to "show dropbox" within the liquify filter? I only have the option to adjust brush settings on a transparent backround but I need to be able to see the entire back drop so I can edit an image in 20 minutes and not 20 days

When working with the Bloat or Pucker tools in the Liquify filter, the Brush Pressure option fades to gray; the only slider I can actually change is the Brush Size. The problem seems to have started about three weeks ago on my old laptop, which was due to be replaced in any case. I've since purchased a new laptop and have done a full install of PSE 11 on it from the original disks - but the problem still persists.

It doesn't give an option of 'or [Settings].
On my colleague's machine it does give the 'or [Settings] option.
Both machines plain ACAD 2009.
What is the system variable that controls this behaviour?

Currently you have to check a box, and then build a module for H.264 export.
We all get it that you want people to use Media Encoder. But I never use it. It forces me to render a separate file, then re-render that file. I don't need the extra lossless files floating around my machine, and H.264 mp4's looks great coming straight out of after effects.
Since upgrading I've had set up 4 people output workflow. They all went back to making huge MOV files.
the problem that i have is that all my RAW file thunbnails only show the elements 12 logo can i get the pictures back

Is there some way to reconcile or combine the regular lrcat and the conflicted one? Or do I have to just start using the conflicted one?
I know this all has something to do with waiting for all the files to upload and download to DropBox, and I usually don't have a problem since the 2 machines are rarely in use at once...but sometimes I need to shut down quickly or perhaps I miss part of the transfer, so I'm really just checking to see if there is some way to reconcile when I blow it.

Now, I have my Lightroom Library on the older computer, but I would like to have the same one with the same settings on the new iMac. But, when I need to, I would also like to keep the same one on the MacBook for when I'm working out of office.
How can I fix this, and can my Dropbox Pro 200 GB account?
I have a bit of a unique setup which isn't quite new and isn't the issue. I have a LR 4 catalog (catalog settings) and collection of images in Dropbox that i use to do some small work between a desktop PC and PC laptop. Works fine on a good connection as long as i avoid conflicts. That's not the issue. I'm wondering if their is a solution to using publishing services in the catalog on both computer. The problem i am running into is that the destination path for each publishing service (in this case they are publishing to another folder in Dropbox to upload to someone) is unique to the machine that it was created on. So if I created the publishing service on one machine it can't be used the publish if I'm updating it on the other computer because the paths to the files are not relative.
The only solutions I can think of are:
Have the paths on both computers be exactly the same, which means updating the user account names to match on both machines.Setting up separate publishing services to the same folder for each computer (an annoying solution).Look into a dropbox plugin which i haven't done yet.
While I am at it, any add on to prioritize the LR catalog file to be the first file to sync over the connection or LAN once it closes. This would certainly work with occasional conflict file.
I created an animation for a landingpage on my website(built with wix.com).
My problem is, that wix.com has got no folder-organisation or upload-function and my Edge animation has *.html, *jscript and *.jpeg/*.png files.
In a Wix.com-forum, I've found a response, that said, that I should use external storage-websites for my files.I did so and put these files in my dropbox/public folder, copied the open links in the *.html file like this:

But, when I copy the code into my wix-page-html-app (for not-wix-user: a small field to insert html-code),nothing happens...
My office uses Dropbox as a server for all of our working files. I can create and work with CAD files (using many x-refs) without a problem. The problem that I have occurs whenever someone else in the office tries to use the CAD file that I created with x-refs OR whenever I use a different computer station (still logged in as myself)...the X-refs are always missing (detached). I can reattach them but this defeats the purpose of using the X-ref. how Dropbox works.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have been using Dropbox to collaborate with a remote office. The problem we ran into was that for some reason, data references don't work when a drawing is reopened. In other words, when I open a drawing, none of the objects I dref'd into the drawing showed up. In the Toolspace, the objects appear just fine (i.e. no broken reference indications). If I manually synchronize the object, then it shows up int he drawings. If I save and then reopen, the reference is gone again. I have seen some info about Projectwise and the problems with dref's when using that program

This thing's got dual quad core Xeon, 12gb DDR3, ATI FireGL V8600, etc. I could hear it processing something constantly and as I was in CAD I couldn't really do anything. When I opened the task manager and looked at the processes, "accoreconsole. exe" (an AutoCAD component) was using 10.5gb of memory. On my performance tab, my memory was maxed at 11.5gb for at least a half hour.
Today, I dealt with it all day long by ending the process whenever I'd notice it on the list of processes, or if the computer suddenly began to lag. I've also been having trouble with Dropbox. Not sure if this would at all be related but, if I try to save a file to a shared dropbox folder, it gets to 81% and freezes with the (Not Responding) message up top. I can save just fine to my network folder though.

However, this doesn't happen for my coworker. She can see all the xrefs. How could I solve this? The file names or directory has not changed.
