I was told that to resize a batch of photos to use the multiple selection tool. Howver, this button is not active as it appears in my Photoshop 11. D I have to import the files to a certain location or something.
View 3 RepliesI've edited my photos, resized them all the same and now want to use the "process multiple files" funtion to put a watermark on each image.
In the past this has not been a problem but now when I use this feature, the watermark font size is inconsistent between each image.
I have a 200 photo batch and dont really want to manually put my watermark on it!
Tried using the multiple processing and auto fix now all pic are blank had overwrite on. How to get images back.
View 1 Replies View RelatedYesterday this was working; today it's not. When I try to process multiple files I get this error message: "Could not complete the Process Mulitple Files command because the disk is not available."
I'm on a Mac - 10.6.8. The disk is not full. I am trying to convert Open TIF files to JPGS. And like I said, this was working for me yesterday.
Here's what I've tried as far as troubleshooting:
1. Going to your username>library>preferences and deleting:
com.adobe.PhotoshopElements.plist
Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 paths
Adobe Photoshop Elements 10settings
repair permissions and try again.
2. restarting the editor while holding down command+shift+option, keeping the keys down till you see a window asking if you want to delete the settings file. I did.
3. restarting the computer
4. shortening the file names
5. moving the destination file
Still no success.
Capture a bunch of signatures to be later used in PS for creating a collage of a sports team...each photo will have the players signature... I'd like to ideally use my i pad to capture and then move to PS where I can associate each signature with a photo, etc. The trick is to work off a list of names and be able to keep the association as a move it to PS...
File Maker Pro / Go combo will do what I want I think but its quite pricey at $150+40...was hoping some other cheaper way was possible. Obviously need to pay attention to transparency issues..Don't want to have to manually delete white backgrounds once imported, etc.
I am starting a project and doing research about having the possible chance of making either a UV or X-ray scanner with the ability of scanning numerous 2d drawings onto a photoshop like software all at one time. While going to SJSU it took me a longer time to shoot single shots of my 136 page animation project than it took me to draw it out frame by frame... so I told my teacher David Chai one day-" why not build a cube with an x-ray beam and shoot my whole project all at one time?
" It has been a long time since Art23 and I still have the same dream of doing a full length animation- if it were to ever happen I would need a software with the capability of running a composite that would hold multiple frames scanned(30 perhaps) through a front and side x-ray or UV ray that can harness the depth of each individual frame being scanned at the same time. If I had software that could hold data from each frame... I believe I can work out my schools animation team ad well as move towards making numerous 5 page "final D" animation in a way make a full length film with my old crew Studio.
How can in retain my original jpg file sizes when processing multiple file in 11 using expert mode.

Only first file added to list. Can continue to add files one at a time. Not really good for ,say , downsampling a list of hundreds of image.
I am able to only scan and save one page at a time and need to create a single pdf file.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have Elements 8 for the processing the raw files from my Nikon D40. There has been not issue with these files. I just recently picked up a D7100. Now with this camera when i download the raw files to the computer I am receiving a message that Elements does not reconize those raw files and will not open them.
Is there some different setting for the newer camera's?
1- How do I move files from one folder to another with LR3?
2- If I export the processed raw file as a DNG will the processing go with the export as DNG file?
I have never had issues processing Nikon's raw file format in CS3 previously, however I recently purchased a newer camera (D3100) and can no longer use this function. I have updated to the latest version of Camera Raw available for CS3 and it did not work. Am I correct in assuming that my camera is too new for this older version of photoshop? Is there a work around to enable me to process my raw files or is it an impossibility without upgrading?

Either the processer (local pharmacy, big name store.. etc) is cropping my images badly. I have been told this is my problem when I save in jpeg format. How do i protect my image? View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm using Elements 11. In order to add watermarks to many JPG pics at once, I use the function "Process Multiple Files".
I select a source folder and a destination folder, and adds a three digit serial number to each file. I do NOT tick the checkbox marked "Change picture size". After that I define the watermark I want printed on my pics and hits OK. All the files in the source folder are processed and saved, with a new name in the destination folder. Fair and square.
But. The file size of the new file is heavily reduced, compared to the original. It goes from 10 MB down to 500 KB (in general). Why is that? Is there any way I can prevent it?
if it is possible to change a collection of tif-format images into jpeg with one single operation, rather than treat each image individually?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've got hold of some Welding glass to use as an ND filter on my Fuji HS20. It arrived today and works a treat. I do however now have a new issue that this has caused. I've set a custom white balance on the camera to counter act the tint from the glass. This now produces the correct colour on my jpg photo's however the RAW files have the wrong colour tint. When I open them in photoshop elements 11 I get the CAMERA RAW application. The white balance is set to 'AS SHOT' however the Tint is at +150. I'm guessing my problem is that the tint needs to be more than +150 and CAMERA RAW is limiting it. Does this mean I am now limited to using JPG's when I use this glass as an ND filter, or is there a way I can get rid of this limit to the tint on the white balance

I then added chapters and chose a menu (tried several) and then selected Burn to folder and normalize audio but just NOTHING happens after 3% (which appears immediately) have tried different videos and menus - none get processed. The CPU runs at 100% BTW I am processing thi on my laptop Win 7 (32 bit) Toshiba with 3 GB RAM and a IGB GPU so do not go by my profile

The JPG cannot be opened by Corel Paint Shop ProPhoto X2 or Corel MediaOne and when trying to upload it to an on-line photo processing service I receive an error message that the file type is not supported or cannot be used.
View 13 Replies View RelatedI opened a 1024x1024 image in GIMP, and manually broke it up into fully black and fully white sections. I'd like to output a file which is just a simple binary array of 8 bit numbers, such that every black pixel in the image has the value 0, and every white pixel has the value 1. This way, I can open it in my C program and then load the array into memory using the fread function.
I haven't been able to work out how to do this. I need to avoid using any files with metadata in them...And unfortunately, even the ppm format has a handful of characters at the beginning. Is there a way to do this?
I am having trouble processing point code to correctly string the survey points. I have tried three methods of coding and each method has a draw back which isn't really acceptable to me, as it either means more work in the field or more work in the office.
Method 1: I code my points TOP 1 B, or TOE 2 or NS.
When doing this method the survey points don't string correctly. Because of the space delimitation inbetween TOP & 1 Civil3d only recognises the code TOB and doesn't pay attention to the string number. So all the points with the same code get stringed regardless of the string number. Please see file "TOP_1_B_CODE_STYLE.png" and you will see that TOP 1 E strings to point TOP 2 B.This will create a lot of work in the office breaking all the survey figures so they appear correct.
Method 2:I code my points TOP1 B, or TOE2 or NS. When doing this the points don't get coded correctly. Because the code is TOB when I import a point with the code TOB1 it doesn't recognise the code, and puts the point on the default layer 0. Please see file "TOP1_B_STYLE.png" and you will see all of the TOP1 and TOE1 are white and one layer 0. This will make a lot of office work changing points to the correct layers.
Method 3: I code my points without a string number, and only pickup one line at a time. So I would start picking up a toe of bank by TOE B then finish it on TOE E. See file "TOP_B_TOP_E.png" to see the result.
This does get the result I want but it really makes field work procedures slow. It would be very frustrating doing a detail survey of a road and having to walk each individual breakline.
I want to be able to use Method 1 but to have all points get stringed correctly. I have read a pretty good post about this here where the outcome is that all points should be put on layer 0 by default (I can't find it again though!). For me though that isn't a very good option as I often have both design and asbuilt in the same drawing, and need to be able to turn off groups and not have the associated points left on my screen.
When publishing an Edge composition all of the javascript gets minimised, which is great.
It'd be great if 'compilation' tools like this could be added/removed, either as a software-wide plugin or as a list of processors in the publish settings.

I have a series of pics (approx 80) that I'd like to load into Elements, with each photo going into a single layer. I google'd a series of old posts where somebody used a "script", but the links are no longer working and that trails is dead.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI'm designing a part that in Autodesk Inventor 2013 that is constructed from several layers laminated together. I have 4 layers:
F (front)
M1 (middle, variation one)
M2 (middle, variation two)
B (back)
The final solid will lhave 17 layers laid out like this:
F | M1 | M2 | M1 | M2 | M1 | M2 ... | B
I currently have a part file containing
F | M1 | M2
What's the best way to create this solid if I want to a) keep all instances of M1 and M2 in sync, and b) make it easy to work on all 4 layers. Do I have to export F, M1, M2, and B as individual parts and import them into an assembly or can I keep them in one part file? I really like the ability to be able to work on all the solids at the same time because they're visually dependant on each other.
