AutoCAD Print / Plot :: Grid Lines Showing Up In Prints With 3D Objects
Jan 17, 2012I am having a problem with grid lines showing up in my print out from autocad, but only in the viewport that has 3D objects in it and displayed in conceptual mode or realistic mode. Don't know what is causing them or how to get rid of them. They do not show up on my screen or in the print preview. They only show up in the final prints and even when printing to a pdf file format. I have printed the same drawing out from other computers that have Autocad 2009 and do not get that problem. My computer has Autocad 2010. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled Autocad but that doesn't work.

Dec 15, 2012I want a grid where a grid line is drawn every 10mm, with division lines every 1mm.
When I set this up in illustrator the grid lines (major) render fine but I am not seeing any division (minor) lines at all. Is this the defauld behaviour in illustrator?

May 14, 2013I've been using Elements 7 with great satification for several years now, but recently, the picture thumbnails started to show up as an hourglass icon. I updated to Elements 11 and still had the same problem. I followed some direction I found online for eliminating the catague cache, and it fixed the problem in 11, but not in 7. Till I learn to use 11, I would like to continue to use 7, so how do I fix this problem in Elements 7?

Jan 29, 2013I am trying to print a picture package with Adobe Photshop Elements 8. The package size is letter (1)5x7 (4) 2.5x3. When I press print, the package is sent to my printer (an HP Photosmart Premium), but it never prints.
My computer shows it is "printing", but it just remains stuck in the que. I cannot even delete or cancel the jammed print job without shutting off the printer, closing the program, and rebooting my computer.
I can print individual pictures with Adobe Photoshop 8 and I can print other pictures and documents from other applications on my computer. So my computer and printer seem to be communicating and functioning correctly except during the use of APE 8. The problem seems to be a gliche in the adobe program which does not allow me to print photo packages.

Feb 6, 2013I need to smooth the black lines of a clipart picture (have taken out the colour with colour bucket and wish to use the black outline as a colouring picture for children). The lines left are OK but a bit fuzzy in places, although not broken. Is there a smoothing technique I can use on the lines?

The "more options" menu doesn't provide for "printing choices" and "show captions" for picture package, and I'm not sure how else to do two pictures per page. Is there another way to get the captions to print out when printing two per page? The captions print when I print individual photos.

Jun 7, 2013So when I open a file that's say, 100px x 100px, usually the PS window would be gray except for a 100pxX100px white square, which is, of course, the stage. However, now instead of the gray outer region (whatever that's called), it is showing as if it was transparent. When I drag the doc window to resize it, the stage is "duplicated" randomly while the transparent outer region continues to grow. I've attached a screen shot. The white block below is the stage. The rest is inaccessible. Also, if I use the Type tool, the screen flickers to its inverse with each keystroke.

Apr 17, 2009I've got a very annoying problem. When drawing rectangles with grid / guidelines showing using 960 Grid System (although it happens with other documents as well), the edges of the rectangle are not sharp, e.g. http://img16.imageshack.us/img16/6232/blurred.png - note top and right side is blurred. There are no styles applied.
When I switch off grids / guidelines, the rectangles are always sharp.
Also, resizing rectangles causes loss of sharpness to edges.
Using CS4.
