VideoStudio :: Instant Projects Templates - Can't Find Them?
Mar 28, 2013I had videostudio 4x which was upgraded from 2x on a laptop computer. I recently got a new desktop and loaded the X4 on that. The laptop has many files listed to choose from when I go to the instant projects. They are listed under the drop-down menus "beginning", "middle", "end", "complete", etc. There are probably 20-40 choices for each drop-down choice.
On my new install, there is only 1 choice on each. I did not purchase any add on templates. How do I get the others back? Is there a way to transfer them from the laptop?I tried loading some templates from the help button/do more tab and downloaded and installed the templates there, but got only some very simple templates that went under the "custom" drop-down menu.
Was there some free template pack that I downloaded or got on the original X2 disk, or X4 downloaded program that I did not install to the new computer or that I downloaded after installing the X4?

Feb 15, 2013There is a big bug in the CS6 , tiff file format have change, and when i generate a tiff file ( flaterned image with alpha layer) in photoshop CS6 or after effect CS6,the alpha layer can not be used in indesign CS5, i need to open my tiff in photoshop CS5.5 and save it agin to get a working image.
If i open the image generate by CS6 ( photoshop or after) in photoshop (any version) or indesign CS6 alpha layer is working fine, but not in the previous version of indesign ....

Nov 19, 2013In PSE12, Organizer, when I zoom in to see a photo, and apply Smart Fix or Rotate left or right. when the program finishes, I see the save icon, then the screen zooms out to the page with the first file in the folder. Quite annoying when I'm trying to see the effects of the Smart Fix. I have to refind the photo and zoom in again. I'd like to stay where i was until i get a chance to look at the corrections. How do I stop that?

May 16, 2013In autoCAD 2013 i have a sequence of multiple text fields e.g. (MP01, MP02, MP03, MP04..etc) i need to alter the numbers to other numbers. I used a command a few months ago but i cant remember what is was called! It selected the x/y direction and incremented the existing sequence to my chosen sequence (just incrementing the last numerical bits and leaving the text the same). Ive tried TCOUNT command and i couldn't get that to work with the text fields.

Sep 5, 2013any difference between alpha layer and alpha channel? I mean has to be right? I just don't know what exactly that would be if there is. I'm trying to figure out some more stable uses for computer graphics when building textures with alpha layer or alpha channels. So far I get a flicker from opengl bug when using alphas. So I'm wondering if I use Alpha layer and something with a solid color underneath the geometry if I could achieve a more stable result where alpha sorting. Possibly clearing it up where my alpha layered geometry stays on top vs bleeding through at times it seems.

I need to paint my house and I want to color the house in Photoshop first to test the color scheme. Currently I set it up so the house is first turned into gray scale, then a color layer is multiply or soft light onto the house to "paint" the house while retaining features of the house. There are several such color layers, each with a layer mask for the walls, the trims, and the garage door.
When I want to change the color of, say the walls, I select that layer and fill it with a new color. But I don't see the new color until I exited the color picker and the fill dialogues. Is there a more interactive way to change color?

Feb 4, 2013I just installed CS6, and I'm having serious problems w/ a few things. Mainly this issue:
As you can see, every time I create an object, a stroke is added to it. And you can also see on the layers path, a small little box is also added. Here's the weird part, when I try and change the images color, I get a popup saying that this object needs to be "rasterized" before changing the color. Then when the color changes, it changes the shape object to what i need it to be.
