Photoshop Elements :: Can't Load ASL (styles) Files In 6 On Mac With Lion 10.7

Using Photoshop Elements 6 on Mac with Lion 10.7. As with other users, I am unable to load styles downloaded from net (asl files). Shapes, brushes, and patterns load just fine. Have tried placing them in styles folder in presets (that didn't work) and library application folder for styles (that didn't work). Have tried removing preferences file for styles from preferences folder and doing both of the above (didn't work).

I've installed LR4 from the Mac App Store and I get the following error message when I try to run it. I've also tried to reinstall it twice and rebooting after reinstalling but the problem remains.
It says it cannot find @executable_path/../Frameworks/asneu.framework/versions/a/asneu but I checked the Contents and it is there on Applications/Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 4.app/Contents/Frameworks/asneu.framework/Versions/a/aseneu

I Have down loaded up- dates so much so that you will not give me any more.But I still cannot load NEF Files on to Elements 10 Directly.
It just take a great deal of time down loading & turning them into TIFF files, is there an alternative without upsetting my bank manager?

I chose "file type:" PDF in the menu "Load Photos, Videos from folder and files" but I am not able to avoid that also JPEG files are loaded in the catalogue.
Moreover, the program freezes many times.
Am I doing something wrong or is not possible to load only a type of file?
My purpose is to get a catalogue with only a copy of all my PDF I have split in many directories.

I have made up templates with design styles (line thicknesses etc.).
However, when I try and load these templates up, the design styles do not load with the template as an error messgae appears. This has been attached.
I want to open a template up and for it to open with these design styles automatically loaded as default.
I am using Inventor 2012 LT.

I have had a problem with the organizer page opening on top on whatever program I open and cannot find how to get rid of it from doing that. I have used the chat line for hours and hours, day after day, have written into support, and they never call back when we are always disconnected, etc. So I did uninstall and reinstall it 3 times, still the same. I am thinking of going and buying PSE 11 and totally uninstalling PSE10 which is causing all the problems. Will the new version work on Mac w/Mt.Lion.

I'm a bit confused on the style library system built into Inventor - it isn't very intuitive.
I'd like to create my tube and pipe styles as well as sheet metal styles and have to never create them again - regardless of the project/workspace. Is this something that can be saved in the standard part/assembly template files? If so, how?
I'm tired of creating styles every time I start a new document - it is a waste of a lot of time! And I'd like to avoid having to import settings on every document.

After upgrading my operating system I cannot use Photoshop Elements 10. The pinwheel just spins and spins and I have to force quit to get out of the program. I uninstalled my first copy and reinstalled and same problem.

I have a very simple question, for which I can find NO answer: since I upgraded my Mac OS to Lion, I can no longer grab an image -- or, most importantly, several images from several locations on my several drives -- then drag and drop them on the PS Elements 10 icon in my Dock, or on the PS Elements 10 icon in my Applications folder, and have PS Elements 10 automatically boot open, and load these images into the Editor workspace. I try it, and PS Elements 10 just sits there and refuses to open. I could do this in Snow Leopard, and I can do this in Lion with EVERY other app I have (providing I'm dragging and dropping files that the apps recognize). i used to use Windows XP with Photoshop 6 and my Epson RX500 scanner/printer would show in the Import option but using my new iMac and Elements 11, it does not show. All my drivers are up to date but I can't sort out from the forum information how I can find the necessary plug-in to solve my problem. I know I can scan and save to a file which can then be opened in Elements but the other way is much more convenient.

We are running Revit 2012 Suites on iMac w/Parallels w/Windows XP SP3. Office file server is a Lion Server running 10.7.5. While working in Revit we can; save PDF's to server, export DWG/DXF to server, and for a few moments after opening a file we can save a .rvt file to the server. But after more than ~2min, Revit freezes at any save attempt and we have to force quit through the task manager.
Last few lines of journal entry for event reads as follows.

I just upgraded the server for our small firm to OS X Lion. The share is accessible from Windows and all permissions are the same as they were before the upgrade. I can manipulate and open files in other programs in Windows, but everytime I try to open a .rvt or .rfa file in Revit from the server I get "Failed to open document". I can open .dwg files fine in Autocad, and I can even insert .dwg and images from the server into an open revit file.

I have mi server in a OS X Lion machine, and I can´t open and write .max files from network drive (read/write error like a corrupt file).
At first time I thought in a permissions problem, but after try different options with owners and users, I can´t found a solution.
Working with a Network drive hosted in OS X server?

Lightroom can't send items to trash when deleting files on an external drive if the trash bin is empty for the relevant drive on OSX Lion. This was in LR3 and now in 4. You can get round this by making sure the trash is not emptied after deleting a random file or folder but there has to be a better way!
Also it seems to be a lightroom problem more than OS as Bridge can delete the files with no problem.

I've had PSE 9 for sometime now and PSE 7 prior to that.
I've recently downloaded Lightroom 4 as a 30 day trial. I've followed all the instructions re 'preferences settings' to allow further subsequent edits with PSE9 but I still cannot edit with PSE9 even though the option is there when i go to Photo>Edit Photo> Edit in Adobe Photoshop Elements.PSE9 doesn't even launch let alone not bring in the photo.So what have i tried so far to resolve?
1. Looking through all my application files on my Mac to ensure i've found the right file to link to. I've only managed to find 'Adobe Photoshop elements 9' - what i haven't been able to find is any file with the word 'editor' against it. So in essence i have 2 files 'elements organizer' and 'elements 9' which is my editor. I've linked to the latter but it's still not working.
2. I've tried dragging an amended DNG file onto the PSE9 editor icon. This then bring the photo into PSE's ACR editor - but without the lightroom amendments?

Out of action on CS2 for over a week now. I 'rolled back' to an April restore point. Still no success but different messages.
Programme loads then: Could not load default gradients because the file could not be found.' Then same with, Patterns, Contours, Styles, Custom Shapes and tool presets. Finishes up with Could not initialize Photoshop because a required text resource file is missing.
After restoring to an earlier date duplicates of some of the folders have been made.
WXP SP2 CS2 1GB RAM.

I put the elements 12 disk in my DVD drive and it spens about 4 minutes trying to get going. The lights on the drive flash occasionally, and you can hear it trying to go. I go to "my computer" to check the "drive" folder and it never appears for me to click on it and open it. It also doesn't automatically load which I have turned on. I have verified it is a DVD drive.

I just upgraded to a 5D and LR4.. when I import the files load as CR2 files, not DNG files. When the files import it takes 4 files to find them. It also will not recognize the file names in the library. How do I fix this to import like it did in LR 3??

I make GIFs as a hobby. But what happen was that 3 days ago, I opened my Photoshop CS5.1 Extended version 12.1 (x64) and did the usual thing.
I went to Scripts and to Load Files into Stacks. I loaded my files and pressed OK. So here's the funny part, usually, the pictures will load by itself and eveyrthing will be in order. But what happen was that the layers load to around 6 to 7 layers and everything just disappear. Literally disappear. Like I didn't even load anything. No canvas, no images, nothing. I thought it was a bug or something so I reinstalled my CS5 but the problem remains.
So I try with my CS6 Extended version 13.0 x64. (That I barely use because I'm still more comfortable with CS5.) And the same thing happens.
I decided to Google it and nothing comes up. I do not know whether is it my laptop or something went wrong somewhere. This has never happen before for the amount of time I have CS5.
I even change my scratch disc space. Last time it was on (C) with around 20GB space and nothing happens. So I changed it to my D drive and it has atleast 150GB space. I even tried closing every applications I have to test whether is it something related to my ram. But nothing happens. The problem remains.
