Lightroom :: Elements Editing On Mac Lion OSX

I've had PSE 9 for sometime now and PSE 7 prior to that.
I've recently downloaded Lightroom 4 as a 30 day trial. I've followed all the instructions re 'preferences settings' to allow further subsequent edits with PSE9 but I still cannot edit with PSE9 even though the option is there when i go to Photo>Edit Photo> Edit in Adobe Photoshop Elements.PSE9 doesn't even launch let alone not bring in the photo.So what have i tried so far to resolve?
1. Looking through all my application files on my Mac to ensure i've found the right file to link to. I've only managed to find 'Adobe Photoshop elements 9' - what i haven't been able to find is any file with the word 'editor' against it. So in essence i have 2 files 'elements organizer' and 'elements 9' which is my editor. I've linked to the latter but it's still not working.
2. I've tried dragging an amended DNG file onto the PSE9 editor icon. This then bring the photo into PSE's ACR editor - but without the lightroom amendments?

Im unable to export files for editing from LR 4 into photoshop elements 9. All my settings are the same as I had with LR 3 but nothing happens, PS doesn't launch or open.

I have LR 3 and Photoshop Elements 10. When I go from LR to elements I am unable to create layers. I inmport my pictures as DNG files. It says they are psd in elements.

I cannot get my photo to show up in Lightroom after editing in Elements 11. I did choose Elements Editor in prefs. In fact, I already got support from Adobe about this issue a month ago. It did work then

This problem only occurs with files that I have been imported from cd's/dvd's into the libraryand I get the msg "Lightroom was unable to prepare the selected file for editing. It will not be opened." Files that are stored on my hard drive have NO PROBLEM in being edited. .
I am new to Lightroom and currently using it on the 30 day trial I have been using PSE for a long time and have over 90,000 images in Organizer and all of my images are on cd's/dvd's, very few are stored on the hard drive.

I have had a problem with the organizer page opening on top on whatever program I open and cannot find how to get rid of it from doing that. I have used the chat line for hours and hours, day after day, have written into support, and they never call back when we are always disconnected, etc. So I did uninstall and reinstall it 3 times, still the same. I am thinking of going and buying PSE 11 and totally uninstalling PSE10 which is causing all the problems. Will the new version work on Mac w/Mt.Lion.

After upgrading my operating system I cannot use Photoshop Elements 10. The pinwheel just spins and spins and I have to force quit to get out of the program. I uninstalled my first copy and reinstalled and same problem.

I have a very simple question, for which I can find NO answer: since I upgraded my Mac OS to Lion, I can no longer grab an image -- or, most importantly, several images from several locations on my several drives -- then drag and drop them on the PS Elements 10 icon in my Dock, or on the PS Elements 10 icon in my Applications folder, and have PS Elements 10 automatically boot open, and load these images into the Editor workspace. I try it, and PS Elements 10 just sits there and refuses to open. I could do this in Snow Leopard, and I can do this in Lion with EVERY other app I have (providing I'm dragging and dropping files that the apps recognize). Using Photoshop Elements 6 on Mac with Lion 10.7. As with other users, I am unable to load styles downloaded from net (asl files). Shapes, brushes, and patterns load just fine. Have tried placing them in styles folder in presets (that didn't work) and library application folder for styles (that didn't work). Have tried removing preferences file for styles from preferences folder and doing both of the above (didn't work).

I have OSX 10.7.2 loaded on my MacBook Pro. All was well prior to Lion , but now I find that my 5D will not shoot tethered on the MBP
The software recognises the camera but will not fire it remotly or download image files when the canera is fired from the camera release. My 1Dslll works just fine
My iMac still has 10.6.8 and that works fine with the 5D.
Lightroom is Version 3.5
If I can't get it to work with the 5D I'll just have to reinstall Snowy.

I am using LR 3.5 on the MAX OSX Lion. This problem has been going on for some time, so I am pretty sure it predates 3.5 and lion. If I minimize LR to the dock to do something else, then go back to the dock to expand, sometimes it doesnt expand... The only way to get it back is to click on the icon so that menu bar at the top of the screen is Lightroom's, then quit Lightroom from the menu and relaunch...

i used to use Windows XP with Photoshop 6 and my Epson RX500 scanner/printer would show in the Import option but using my new iMac and Elements 11, it does not show. All my drivers are up to date but I can't sort out from the forum information how I can find the necessary plug-in to solve my problem. I know I can scan and save to a file which can then be opened in Elements but the other way is much more convenient.

I've installed LR4 from the Mac App Store and I get the following error message when I try to run it. I've also tried to reinstall it twice and rebooting after reinstalling but the problem remains.
It says it cannot find @executable_path/../Frameworks/asneu.framework/versions/a/asneu but I checked the Contents and it is there on Applications/Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 4.app/Contents/Frameworks/asneu.framework/Versions/a/aseneu

I initially noticed this problem within Lion and Lightroom 4 when printing to my Epson 4800. The colour shifts to a more pinkish hue in prints done in Lion. I'd originally thought this was unique to Lightroom, but the same thing happens to the same file when printed in Preview, so I'm assuming it has something to do with Lion or the Epson printer. I can confirm it's not a monitor calibration issue, and that my printer driver for the 4800 is the one for Lion, and that everything in Lightroom and the driver is configured identically in both versions of the OS.

Lightroom can't send items to trash when deleting files on an external drive if the trash bin is empty for the relevant drive on OSX Lion. This was in LR3 and now in 4. You can get round this by making sure the trash is not emptied after deleting a random file or folder but there has to be a better way!
Also it seems to be a lightroom problem more than OS as Bridge can delete the files with no problem.

In all previous versions of Elements, if you set your editing in iPhoto preferences to Elements it would send the file to Elements and open in the Editor.. with this version when I do the same, it only opens the editor but no picture to edit..

After editing any .jpg, can't save the changes and replace the original with the edited one "because the file is already in use or was left open".

I have a picture that I added people to from other pictures. Now I want to put this picture with the additions into a folder because I make calendars every year and wanted this picture in for the calendar. When I go into the picture and right click to try and make a copy the brushes and come up and tell me to pick a size and it looks like I am in the cloning and I cannot get out. I cannot see where I can click to say that I am finished with the editing.
