I'm new to photoshop. Why did some of my altered pictures not show up in the file? They appear as a blue file with PSD on it. You can see the pictures when you click on them in Photoshop elements 10 but not in your file.
View 5 RepliesI imported some pictures into LIghtroom 5 with the SAME jpg numbers as a prior import. The first import consisted of pictures from Trip 1 folder on my hard drive, the second import was from Trip 2 folder on hard drive. I see the Trip 1 and Trip 2 folders in LIghtroom 5, but am experiencing problems with emailing and exporting pictures, getting messages such as "Missing file" or "Export does not show up. Were there problems with the import?

Now, when I am editing a few days worth of pictures one after the other, I go to open the next file (picture) the computer takes me back to the top (first one listed) each time. Many times I am editing over 100 pictures in the file, and now have to scroll down each time and that takes forever. I have to remember what number picture I was on. In my earlier version, the compiter "held" the spot where I was so it was easy to select trhe next picture to edit.

My photos reside on a external hard drive so it is not the default location. I want to create a file location and tell the program where to put the photos. Just to test it out I changed the lable of the second one to FILE PATH and the first one that I did to CLIENT NAME. When I loaded it to my project, the second label dissappeared and the first lable now shows.

Using Image, Mode I have verified on both that the images I am trying to save are 8 bit and not 16 bit images. I am on Window 7, 64bit.
View 9 Replies View RelatedAlright, so I'm a photoshop intermediate who's really used this fine program for making web images and a few other things. Now, I've gotten into print advertising at work (yeah, get me to do it rather than outsource it and then pay me a lot less for the effort.
My issue is that I can make ads in B&W or 4C, no problem. This issue comes when I want to do a 2 color ad using a specific color. In my naivety, I presumed using 2 colors in Photoshop and outputting to a CMYK TIFF would be sufficient. The printer has informed me otherwise.
I'm using PSE 11 on a MacBook Pro. My Blue Skies have too much green in them for my preference. I'm sure there is a way to change this, but how? Also, can I change the default 'blue skies' to something more to my liking for a long-lasting remedy?
