I have PS Elements 10 for Mac. I've been trying to figure out why my text is not rendering properly. I type out a word and although caps lock is OFF, the text shows up in all caps. Also, the spacing between letters is wide. I've been trying to search through options, but can't find anything.

So today I was editing and I finished, so I tried to render it so I can have in a .avi. But once I rendered it I got no errors or nothing. So I went to the desktop were it should have been placed, I loaded it and it didn't render properly after a couple of secs the music stops playing and I didn't get the glow effects or the full edit. How do I fix this tell me if you need sertain information.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to project a normal map from a high poly model onto its low-poly version but I'm having some problems.
I modeled some details on the high-poly model as you can see in FIG.1.
The details all have the same depth and everything as can be seen on FIG.2
But yet when the normal map renders, the detail loses depth the further they go from the center and the squarish detail at the bottom doesn't even show up at all. (FIG.3)
I tried pretty much everything I could think of to fix this, but nothing works.
Max 2010, Windows 7 Ultimate x86.
ATI Radeon 4870 512 MB.
Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 Wolfdale (2x3.0ghz), 4Gb Ram, DX10.
I can't seem to get max to render to texture properly with network rendering. it renders just fine on one machine, but whenever i run it through the network option it saves the wron part of the strip.
I have tried it with several different machines and several different files and none of them work.
I have noticed this as an occasional random ongoing problem in Lightroom and just encountered it again in LR 5, running on Win 7 64 on a 30" 2560x1600 monitor. While the develop view renders properly, the louple view is very soft. Here is an example:

There is no indication that you need to wait for the final rendering and the image never gets sharper. Zooming in and out does not fix the rendering in loupe view. Resizing the lightroom window to a smaller size does not work. Rebuilding 1:1 previews does not work.
The only thing that works is to close and reopen Lightroom. It appears that some flag in the program instructing the loupe rerender sometimes does not get set.
This is a serious problem because a user could easily decide to delete an image based on the loupe view. This has forced me to preview all my images in PhotoMechanic. I simply cannot rely on Lightroom.
This is a difficult problem to reproduce as it seems to happen randomly. In a search and based on recollection, the zoom in and out seemed to fix.
I have an on going issue with quite a few of my files. They look great in photoshop or when I save them as .jpg's or other images but when i save them as .pdf's (no matter the setting) the fonts render horribly showing only faint outlines and no fill. This is a major issue as I am sure you can see.

I have problem with my max on laptop.Sometimes I don't want to use dedicated GPU because of battery live. So I'm using only integrated HD 4000 form my i7 CPU.Max works good. But I can't read any font in viewport.

Though better, the Font is still way smaller than I would like. Maybe it's just tougher for seniors? Can they not make the font adjustable? I was told there is no way to increase the size of the font?

When I drag it and resize it around the face, the "who's this?" button does not follow. The name is typed in the "who's this?" button and the green "accept" arrow is clicked. View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a mac with the latest version of Snow Leopard. Since yesterday, when I upload photos to Organizer, the image thumbnails do not generate at a small thumbnail size. Each image has an hour glass on it but the thumbnails of the images do not generate. Thumbnails of images will only generate when I zoom into 1, 2, or 3 images in the oragnizer catalog window. When I want to zoom out to have more thumbnails appear in my catalog window, an hour glass appears again on each thumbnail. This problem only occurs with the images that I have uploaded or edited with PSE since yesterday.

View 2 Replies View RelatedPhotoshop Elements 11 gives the opportunity to share pictures with Facebook. The facebook uploader doesn't work for me. Uploading in high resolution won't work at all. But even in standard resolution, the following problems occur:
1) uploader does not recognise albums in facebook, and
2) worst of all: uploades images won't be visible to friends, unless they dive into yout profile. I mean: in the uploader window i choose: visible to friends. When i log on to facebook, the images are there, but they are tagged as privat. Untagging them to 'visible for friends' won't work.
While uploading al settings are correct, in Facebook settings become different.
How can I get Elements 10 to connect properly to my Epson DX8450? It prints fine but gives only WIA support for scan.

View 1 Replies View RelatedDetail Smart Brush use to have the same brightness as Smart Brush as in Bright Eyes, Whiten Teeth, etc. Now when I use Smart Brush, I get the same brightness as always, but when I try to use the Detail Brush, it is darker than Smart Brush. It used to be that I could go over an area as many times as I wanted without an accumulation of brightness with the Detail Brush. Now if I go over an area I already went over, it lightens it more. Have I done something to cause this? How can I get it back to the way it was before (and the way I can still use Elements 11 which I did not uninstall). I tried Sign Out, uninstall and making a new install but the problem was there again. Is it possible that this was updated by Adobe and intentionally changed?
