"Set Font Family" doesn't work on pse 9. Font is stuck on myriad_pro. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling pse 9 to no avail. Then I downloaded an update of pse 9. I still can't change fonts.

View 4 Replies View RelatedOnce I installed windows 7, while I WAS using PSE 9, I had the tiny font problem. I stopped using PSE for 2 years. I just installed PSE 11. Though better, the Font is still way smaller than I would like. Maybe it's just tougher for seniors? Can they not make the font adjustable? I was told there is no way to increase the size of the font?

Left hand side is what is was before, and right hand side is what it is right now… they’re both on crisp though… Even though the right hand side is crisp, it looks like a strong, and when I put that on strong it looks even stronger . I'm using CS5.
way to change where photoshop looks for the fonts? Its automatically looking in C:Windowsfonts or whatever, but I dont have that on ubuntu, so it cant find any fonts. I'm 'textless'. I want to change it so it looks in another folder for the fonts! is this possible?

View 6 Replies View RelatedI cannot access my fonts menu. The drop down menu is blank box and snaps shut. I also have trouble with "save as" and file format...ie save as jpg...the drop down quickly snaps shut, I can often catch it after several tries but seriously lol.
These issues have something to do with user settings...I made a secondary account and the program works fine but changing between accounts is not the best solution. Where/what I need to look at in user settings ?

My question is this: Why are the titles in tlhe menu bar (task bar?) at the top so small? When you actually pull down the menu it is fine but the titles (file, edit, image, filters etc) are extremely small and very hard to see. Also the path selection tool is just a dot (actually two tiny dots) and not the normal cursor arrow.

View 3 Replies View RelatedIt used to be that I very rarely used fonts within CS5 but recently I have. I realized that all of the fonts supposedly included with CS5 are not available via my drop down menu.
I then found these fonts in Windows/fonts so I copied all of those fonts into Program Files/Common Files/Adobe/Fonts. These unavailble fonts are now listed in that folder but are still not available via the dropdown menu in PS CS5.
I've recently read that the fonts don't really even NEED to be in the Program Files/Common Files/Adobe/Fonts folder and that PS should actually make all of the fonts in Windows/Fonts available via the dropdown menu. Yes, I have restarted PS after copying the files and also tried rebooting my PC after copying the files. The fonts are still not available via the drop down text menu within PS even though all of them are now in both locations.
I have put some new fonts into C:/windows/fonts and they have come up in other programs e.g. Microsoft office but they are not showing up in photoshop.
i am using vista home premium with SP1 and it is 32bit and photoshop cs4.
