Photoshop :: Delete Command Sometimes Error In CS6?
Jul 28, 2012
Sometimes in CS6 the delete command just acts as a non-optional "clear" command, and does not show a menu providing the content aware option. Sometimes this cures itself by closing and reopening the program. Sometimes not.
No Clean button or command in document palette settings.. Of course there are reset command but not to positive results.. I want to delete the colors in document palette but no clean or delete colors command... Also color styles is not useful and very sophisticated.
At my job, we are 15 drawers using acad 2008 and 2006. For some reson, on 1 computer, when the guy explode a block, acad delete that block insted exploding it. It make the just for some block, not all block. It make this with acad 2006 and acad 2008 but just with that computer.
how to draw a certain line and be able to delete part of it.
Example 1: I would like to draw a bunch of seried resistors, so I made a bunch of rectangles and draw a wire across them. But there are wire crossing through each one of them, how do I remove/erase that part in between each of the resistor? The line is made by using command: LINE
Example 2: Drawing some polygon and random shapes. Simplest example, drawing a half circle, so I draw a circle and want to remove the other half, how do I do it?
Yes, I know in example 1 I can do one object first then copy paste... But that is not what I am asking. I am seeking the command how to remove the lines or object in between.
I'm trying to delete a unused layer. But when I do that I get the following error (see attachment). I googled a bit and figured out that the LAYDEL command might solve my issue, but as I'm using Autocad 2013, that's not possible, as it doesn't have this command...
The block that causes the error can also be deleted, I tried with the purge command, but must be doing something wrong cause it didn't work. Oh yeah, with regard to the purge command, I see it this way (attachment 2), how can you display it in a window kind of view to get a better overview?
I'm working on a project that details with topo lines. I have the contours, however because I imported them as DWG's from sketchup they're a bit messy. Basically, instead of being one continuous line, their endpoints intersect and overlap, making it look very messy. Is there anyway I could delete these extra lines? I tried the overkill command to no avail.
Bug in photoshop creative cloud. When using the "batch" editing feature after 5 images being edited the same way (batch processing) an error code pops up. "Error:not enough ram" and then i have to restart which does the same thing over and over again. Running a quad core i7 1tb hard drive 16gb of memory so there should be no error code. I have done everything from creating new scratch disks off of other hdd's allotting more ram to go to psd (since i can only use 3255mb because of a useless limiter on photoshop) to rebooting computer and nothing works at all.
CS2 and Bridge will not make any pdfs'CS2 has been un-installed and re-installed twice from disc without solving problem. I will download CS2 from Adobe as my next step, however my CS2 disc would have to be de-activated and there is no activation server for CS2 anymore.{URL]...

bring back "pdf presentation"? Also, is there a way to upgrade the raw plugin folder to be able to read the current raw formats?
few days ago, when I clicked on "Save for Web" I received this error.
"Could not complete the Export command because of a program error."
This used to work fine before a few days ago. I haven't made any changes to my computer. I've deleted the Save for Web prefrences file as well as the Photoshop preference file. None of these have helped. I am still unable to Save for Web.
I've recently started getting an error message I've not noticed before. If I use CTRL L on an empty layer by mistake, I get the following message.
"could not complete the levels command because of a program error"
I can't swear that I've never had it before, and I'm sure I must have used CTRL L on an empty layer before, but I don't recall seeing it.
Whatever happens, it's not exactly a user-friendly message. A Google search turns up no matches, lots of similar ones, but I haven't found an answer yet.
To recreate this error, draw 2 simple shapes in Illustrator CS6, copy and paste them together as a Shape layer in Photoshop CS6.
Then go to 3D > New 3D Extrusion from Selected Path. I just accept the defaults.
Then go to 3D > Split Extrusion.
The error is thrown at this point. No matter what I do, I can't get it to work.
I've tried rasterizing the shape, but then I get a different error. When I select 3D > New 3D Extrusion from Selected Layer, I get the error: "Could not complete the New 3D Extruions from Selected Layer command because the path is too complex." This is ridiculous. I can't get the 3D to work at all.
I am using Photoshop Elements 9 and the "move" tool is not working. The Auto select layer box is checked and I have rebooted the computer and reset the move tool. I keep getting the error message "Could not complete the Move command because of a program error."
This problem started yesterday after I moved some of my library to an external hard drive. I created a new catalog and moved the photos within lightroom. I don't know if the move of photos caused the error or not. Now whenever I try to delete rejected photos, I get the following error message:
Database "/Users/mollynordin/Pictures/Lightroom/Lightroom 4 Catalog.lrcat": PreviewDataObservers_DevSettingsDeletions.devSettingsDigest may not be NULL Statement: DELETE FROM Adobe_imageDevelopSettings WHERE id_local = ?;
I'm attempting to print one file directly from AI, CS5. Only part of the file prints, the design part, not the text. Then the printer spits out another page with this message.
This is an OKI C6150N, directly connected to PC via USB port. This file was origianally on Artboard 2. Artboard 1 (similar design) printed fine, Artboard 2 had the error. I created a new file with one Artboard, retyped the text, copied the design. Still same error while printing. If I save it to a PDF file, it prints fine from Acrobat. I recently upgraded to CS4, then CS5. I have never had this issue before.
Im on AE CC. If I try to command+drag a text layer I get an error that says "( 17 :: 45 ) After Effects error: unable to invert matrix. ( 17 :: 45 )" and the text jumps to some random location.
What is this? I have never seen this and I have always used command to drag.
My sculpt command seems to be temperamental. I've created some surfaces using the revolve command and now want to sculpt using those surfaces. It won't show me a preview of the section to be removed and as I keep trying I get bumped out of inventor (fatal error). The other strange part to this is that i t worked once before on one side of the part and not the other. And now that I try again on the part that worked; it won't work any more. ?
I have a 3D polyline (blue in attached) for which I am trying to calculate the surface area. I use the area-->object command and get 1912342m2 in AutoCAD 2012. My colleague uses the same command in AutoCAD LT 2009 and gets 1807093m2. Due to the discrepancy, I roughly traced a polyline (yellow in attached) around the area in AutoCAD 2012 and I get approx. 1810000m2 so assumedly the AutoCAD LT 2009 version is giving the correct answer while my AutoCAD 2012 is not!
Why am I getting a different area for the polylines...is the difference is due to it being a 3D polyline? Is there a way I can ensure I obtain the correct area using the 3D polyline?
We have a lisp routine that I co-authored ages ago and then haven't done much programming in about 7 years. I seem to have forgotten much of my language skills. This portion of the lisp routine was running fine in autocad 2005 which is what the computer had on it, and it doesn't run on autocad 2010.
I've narrowed it down to the while statement which is why you see it commented out, but that portion is necessary. My main question is was there a change in the language specifically the while statement between 2005 and 2010?
The loaded file is a .dll written in Visual Basic.NET using Visual Studio 2010.

I opened my awesome camera projection mapping scene and all of a sudden the file doesnt work.I get a popup saying "Errors have occured while reading the scene that might result in data loss. Please check the Script Editor for details."
The Script Editor says:
file -f -new; // Error: This command requires at least 1 argument(s) to be specified or selected; found 0. // // untitled // commandPort -securityWarning -name commandportDefault; // mental ray for Maya 2011
[code].....
Anyway, I googled it and "delete the mayafolder and restart Maya, thus creating a new mayafolder automatically" came up and so I did, it didnt work. The next solution apparently was to export eveything into a new scene, but only a third of my stuff is IN the scene so that doesnt work at all (yes i tried anyway). The last thing I did in the scene before I closed it down for the weekend, was to import about 10 nCloth flags into the scene. Disabling them all ofcourse, but still, that might be the reason it's crashing, I dont know.
I am a newbie having trouble getting the sample batch programs to run. I placed simple-unsharp-mask.scm in C:.gimp-2.6scripts and put the .bat file in the E: drive directory with the image file foo.png. When I run the .bat file on my PC running Vista, I get "batch command experienced an execution error." Here is the .bat file:
I am running Autocad 2012 and I tried to use the block swap command under the Express Tools. After selecting the block that I want to replace, I get an error stating that the block name contains an invalid character. The name contains invalid characters. The name is: DomeCamera_WallMount, but in the command bar it says object name:*U302. The * is what Autocad doesn't like.
I would like to create an addin in VS2010 & IN2012. How I could able to do this? I have started with "simpleAddin". But, while building I could able to see the following error.
The same error for all Addins.
