Photoshop Elements :: 12 / Receiving Error Deleting Media Message

This is weird, there is one item in my catalog that I cannot delete. Whenever I try I get a dialog box 'Error Deleting media'. I've run 'Repair Catalog'. but that didn't fix it. I've tried deleting the file it is connected to but it still won't let me (either directly or via Find> All Missing Files').
The only other occurrence of this I've traced in the forum is at [URL] .... and that didn't seem to get resolved either. Fortunately though in my case it is just this one file, I can still add files and delete others.

Sep 19, 2013I have moved folders on my hard drive and want to delete the old links in elements organiser but the delete option is greyed out. I have tried to reconnect but this simply generates a new folder leaving the old one. I am new to photoshop and simply want to start oragising over again and delete all folders but cant. I have tried uninstalling and re installing but it installed listing all old links again..

Mar 17, 2014I've just deleted hundreds of photos off my desktop from My Pictures, which took about 2 hours, presuming that that process would also delete the photos from the Hard Drive, and thus also at the same time from Photoshop Elements 12( on both Organizer and Editor). Yet all of those photos I’ve just deleted from My Pictures (and again, presumably from the Hard Drive), are still showing up in Elements 12! Why do these photos still show up in Organizer if I’ve deleted them from My Pictures (again, presumably also from the Hard Drive)??

Feb 13, 2013If I want to drag over several pictures from the grid to an album or choose for them printing, as soon as I highlight more than one the file name stops showing in the information box. Therefore I can't figure out which pictures to highlight (after I have spent a long time analyzing each one individually). Some of my shots are so similar that I need the file name to choose the correct ones for the batch I want. Is there a way to see the filenames in the grid?

Oct 2, 2012I am a new Mac user - recently insalled Photoshop elements 9 and tried to import my photos which are all in iPhoto at the moment into the organiser. I went via the 'Get files > import from iPhoto' menu and I keep getting a messsage tab saying 'no suitable media'.
I clicked the share in iPhoto and also tried via the getting files directly route (you only get the 'iPhoto library' that way not the individual files - any combo of clicking wont seem to let me see the files there).

Oct 30, 2012When I mark a thumbnail in Organizer and click the Delete key, I get a new window, where I can click OK to delete it. But if I also want to delete it from my HD, I must first click in the small window and THEN click OK.Constructors who are able to think and not least to imagine the users need, would make three clickables:
Cancel
Delete from album
Delete from album and fro, HD.
Then you need only one click instead of two.
Just a small thing, if you are sorting 400 pictures.

Jan 14, 2014I downloaded a trial version of Elements 12. I used Elements 6 a few years ago on a PC, now I have a MAC and there's a lot of difference between version 6 and 12. Feb 24, 2014How do I totally delete mobile albums from the organizer? Having the "in Revel library" tag on all my photos creates extra clutter. It would also be nice to be able to totally disable the Revel agent without having to rename the executable.
More background is that I have an very large library (over 25,000 files) and Revel was not able to successfully synchronize it. Also, the agent created a directory in my catalog file structure that contained copies of original files, therefore using additional disk space.

Jul 11, 2013When deleting photo's from the organiser, PSE asks if i only want te remove the file from the organizer catalogue, or as well from the disk. In fact, i always want to do that. Now, it takes 2 clicks to confirm to delete a photo, which is time-consuming.

Jul 23, 2013I have PSE 8, PS Premier 8 and LR 4 insta;lled and haven't had any problems with them. Yesterday I tried to open PSE 8 and received a 'Bad Image' message that stated
"C:Program Files (x86)AdobeElements Organizer 8.0amtlib.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support.'
However, I went to My Pictures, selected a file that I had edited in PSE 8 a few weks ago, right clicked on Open With PSE 8 Editor and there it was. When I right clicked on Open With PSE 8 Organizer, I got the same error message as shown above. I also tried openiong Organmizer through Editor ald also got the same error shown above.
How do I resolve this? I'm running WIN 7 Pro, DELL XPS 8300.
