I just want to create some simple text bullits at the beginning of some lines of text for a small ad (Black boxes or something similar). Simple to do in MS Word, Wondering what's the easiest way in PS 7?
I have a list - want to apply bullets, but cannot.
I've tried changing fonts, but bullets are greyed out in the paragraph section of text properties box for every font I choose. I've selected many fonts ... still ... no bullets.
im tryin to make a a graphic based on the matrix. makin the cool bullets trail affect they use. You know when hes dodgin the bullets that are goin really slow and it looks like they have kinda smoke behind them?
I am having trouble in changing the color of the bullets without changing the text color. Problem is I cannot select/highlight just the bullet so any new color selected applies to the whole line including bullet and text. I am using DP v 7.
Why can only symbol fonts be used for bullets in X6?
Almost every font has at least the simple bullet (0x95) and the middot (0xB7) included. And there are many non-symbol-fonts out there that contain interesting bullet-like characters. Why the restriction? For a more compact selection list? Corel, could we have a checkbox "[X] Symbol fonts only " to uncheck if one wants to choose from all installed fonts?
I am making a numbered list, including sub numbers (ex. 8.10). What I want to do is under the sub-number create sub-lines with lowercase letters, so it would like this:
a) test 123
b) test ABC
The problem I am having is that I can create the lettered list, close the mtext, and it will look fine . . . until I re-open the mtext and then the 8.11 changes to 8.1. and so on.
A lot of the time I like bullets to be a different colour to their following text. In past versions you could highlight the bullet and pick a colour from the palette. You had to do it with each individual bullet which was a pain, but it could be done. Now if you highlight a bullet and then click a colour, nothing happens. I was hoping that this might be because they'd added a function to choose bullet colour elsewhere (such as in the Bullets window), but apparently not.
I have a large body of text that is numbered and i need to break it into two separate mtext blocks. is there any way to keep the numbering continuous between the two blocks? every time i delete the redundant text in the second mtext block it starts my numbering over.
When i use mtext in autocad 2011 i cannot select bullets and numbering as it is greyed out. I did uncheck bullets and numbering by mistake and now cannot select it.
I've never used bullets in Corel Draw 12 before until today - regardless - they are not working.
Issue: When I select a bullet, the first one works - I then hit return and the next bullet is a ? with box around it. Looks almost like the program lost it's source path for the bullet to me?
i am trying to create a drop shadow on text. i select the text and then copy and then paste in back. however, the copy shows up way above the text and not behind it. what am i doing wrong?
I have an earth image and I want to make some text effects around it. I want to have the text go around the earth figure like Jupiter rings. Moreover, I want to have them as a spiral that goes around the figure much like what a snake do to its pray?
if is there a way of having text be created as links on for a webpage on a banner that is created on photoshop, bearing in mind that buttons are not being used.
i want to create a extreme logo with a large "X" that looks like someone took a knife and carved it out so it looks kinna rugged on the edges. does anyone know how to create this kind of effect?
How can you edit an existing text layer in Photoshop CS (8.0)? Always before i have just been able to click on it, and the bounding box appeared, but now it won't.
I was experimenting with applying filters to text. I managed to make the background black and the text converted to a white outline. I believe I did it using artistic/watercolor. I made a series of five images using this process and now I can't recreate the effect. I definitely did not use strokes or any of the other common ways of creating outline text: It was really quite accidental and done entirely with filters.
t is possible to create numbered/bulleted text in photoshop, with indentation as it is done in MS Word.
Just something like the text that appears to the left of the image of that house. The image displayed shows the various components of a water distribution system for a single home which collects rain water and deposits it in a storage tank. The only text that I have written in photoshop is the title and the web address.
This is for some course notes but I wanted to replace the original scanned text (which is in dark blue) for some photoshop text in black colour. But I want the text with the same indent format. Can this be done in Photoshop?
When creating text, can not seem to get any color but black. Grab text with text tool, chose a new foreground color, foreground color will change, text color in options bar will change, but text stays black.
If trying to gradiate the text. Again, I choose a color, pick the gradient tool, set the type of gradient, all looks good, new color with white background, but still it comes out as new color and black. Have try making the foreground white with new background color, but still only get black.
I am creating a logo and I need to create text on a circle, but the hard part for me is she wants the first half on top, the 2nd part of the text on the bottom.
obviously i know how to use the circle path tool, but how is a good way to do this for the bottom? I know i can use the pen tool but i have never used it before and it looks complicated.
I need step by step gradient text instructions for Photoshop WITH TWO CUSTOM COLORS GOING FROM TOP TO BOTTOM.
How do I (instead of using the preset color choices) make a custom gradient? I am trying to create text with a top to bottom gradient of green (#228B22) down to aqua (#40E0D0).
I have been working on some small banners and heading bars for my site. One thing I always seem to have a problem with and have not seen much information on is what fonts to use, or how to keep a font clean and crisp once it has been converted from psd to a web usable file such as a .jpg or a .gif. Most of the text I am working with is around a 10pt font. I have tried using different types of fonts and they all look fine as the psd but seem to lose something in the transition.
I have optimized them to 100% and they still seem to lose something. Does anyone know of any techniques or tutorials on this subject. I have seen many banners out there with this size font or smaller, and they all look very sharp.
I use photoshop 3.0 and am familiar with basic functions, but now i need to create a vector image - this is for uploading to a t shirt design web site. The writing needs to be in Russian, which i have successfully cut and pasted into photoshop.
I want to write the words HAPPY and BIRTHDAY underneath each other so that the word HAPPY takes up the the same width as the word BIRTHDAY. I also want to make the HAPPY twice as tall as the word BIRTHDAY.
Do I need to adjust the spacing and/or width for each individual letter? I'm guessing I can make the HAPPY taller by some kind of stretching tool?
I have been trying to figure out how to create text within another object that blends in with the background (behind that object).
If you notice the "two plus three equals" portion on the top left of the 5 blends in with the color of the shirt (so if the shirt was red or blue, the "two plus three equals" would show up as red or blue instead of yellow). How do you do this in photoshop? I've been trying to find a tutorial on this for a while, but to no avail.
