Aug 6, 2005how I can create text on an angle.
For example.
Instead of horizontal or vertical text, how can it be done on say a 45 degree angle?
I'm using Photoshop CS (8.0)

May 30, 2011Im rigging legs for a character atm and the char's legs are sort of at an angle. I havent run into this problem before (or have successfully circumvented it) but now it seems i have to face it fully.
The problem is that the knee moves off to the left/right. My best guess would be to rig it straigth and then move the control into place for the foot. but im wondering if theres another solution to this than that?

Jul 15, 2004i am designing a site and i want it to be straight lines instead of curves anyway it seems when draw the lines to the angle that i want they go grey and look rubbish (bitmappy).
Anyway i was wondering if somebody can please tell me how to make the lines smooth at any angle and also how to get them to stay at the orginal colour.
Photoshop :: Sharp Angled Lines
Feb 19, 2004normally i do webdesign and other 72 dpi stuff, but i had to make a logo with straight lines but at about 87deg angle. so just off square at 300dpi.
even at 300, i still couldn't get them really sharp and clean.
i tried the pen and node mode, but even that seemed to have anti aliased the angle a bit.
what do i have to do - perhaps 600 dpi and then reduce?

Jan 9, 2005how to make 45 degree angle lines that I want to embed into my background. Well thats easy enough. But I need to make them so that they are seamless so that if a browser window is 600 or 6000 wide the lines will still fill the whole page on the background colour.

Those letters look terrible and I'd like it to be straight, sharp lines.
I noticed if I use "Convert To Shape" it outlines the letters exactly the way I want them to look:
But, when I select the shape, it just selects the nasty pixels behind it, not this border.

Feb 15, 2014I have a post that can only move up and down and I want to be able to drive an angled wedge sideways under it and back again, such that the post is progressively lifted by the wedge as it moves further under the post and then goes down again. How do I link this? I tried creating a path that coincides with the angle of the wedge and linking the post to that with it set to only inherit movement on the vertical, but that doesn't work. I will also need to do this with a wedge that has a wavy leading edge so that the movement of the post up and down is not linear, but follows the shape of the wave.
Perhaps another analogy would be to have a car drive over a hilly terrain, but instead of the car moving, the terrain is moving sideways under the car, which stays in the same position but moves up and down with the terrain (and the car's orientation is always horizontal (i.e. doesn't pitch its nose up and down).
Revit :: How To Create Slightly Angled Walls
Dec 10, 2007For very slight angles, Revit 2008 seems to INSIST that all walls be precisely orthographic in plan. I need to make some walls that are ever so alightly angled away from the cartesian (90 degree) grid. This is maybe 1/2" to 1" over 12' or so. It's a very small angle and Revit will not allow me to grab the corner and move just that end to the underlying plan that I imported. Lines, reference lines, reference planes all seem to follow this maddening restriction. I am working off of a survey that shows the existing building as non-orthographic so I must follow it. .
Also I have tried creating the walls by picking the angle on the underlying plan, but as soon as I do a wall cleanup, it snaps the wall back to the cartesian 90 dree grid system and the slight angle is gone..Is there something simple like the F8 command in ADT/AutoCAD to turn off the damned ortho constraint???

Photoshop :: Creating Outlined Text Using Filters
May 5, 2013I was experimenting with applying filters to text. I managed to make the background black and the text converted to a white outline. I believe I did it using artistic/watercolor. I made a series of five images using this process and now I can't recreate the effect. I definitely did not use strokes or any of the other common ways of creating outline text: It was really quite accidental and done entirely with filters.

Sep 18, 2012t is possible to create numbered/bulleted text in photoshop, with indentation as it is done in MS Word.
Just something like the text that appears to the left of the image of that house. The image displayed shows the various components of a water distribution system for a single home which collects rain water and deposits it in a storage tank. The only text that I have written in photoshop is the title and the web address.
This is for some course notes but I wanted to replace the original scanned text (which is in dark blue) for some photoshop text in black colour. But I want the text with the same indent format. Can this be done in Photoshop?

Dec 23, 2012When creating text, can not seem to get any color but black. Grab text with text tool, chose a new foreground color, foreground color will change, text color in options bar will change, but text stays black.
If trying to gradiate the text. Again, I choose a color, pick the gradient tool, set the type of gradient, all looks good, new color with white background, but still it comes out as new color and black. Have try making the foreground white with new background color, but still only get black.
