I have created and sent a photoshop file (cs3) to someone but they have photoshop 6 and cannot open the file.

Is there anything I can do to make this psd readable by photoshop 6? Are there any blending options or such that are not supported by photoshop 6?

I used Adobe DNG Converter version 8.3.0.141 to convert .rw2 files created by my Panasonic Lumix FZ200 camera. These files won't transfer into the Organizer and, when trying to open them from the Editor, I get an error message saying the file can't be opened "because it is the wrong type of file".

I am creating clothing and my fashion designers created the pattern in adobe illustrator. Now the contract manufacturer wants a DXF-AAMA format, which is the file format developed by the American Apparel Manufacturers Association in an attempt to solve the difficulties of using DXF files when creating clothing/apparel. How can I do this? I have already created a prototype and printed the fabric/pattern using the AI file (this was done in NY), but the contract manufacturer I am using seems to want this DXF file in the AAMA format.

I installed the retina display-optimized update to my purchased (non-Creative Cloud) version of Photoshop Design Standard (via the Adobe Updater app that pops up in my menu bar only when updates are available), but now when Photoshop launches, I get Photoshop Extended (and it's a trial version). Is this a known issue? Will I need to reinstall Photoshop?

I downloaded and paid for the upgrade version of CorelDraw X6 because I have X3,X4 and X5. I have installed it already but I went to reinstall on my desktop PC as I wiped my hard drive back to factory state, CorelDRAW no longer gives the upgrade option.

I have recently upgraded to ver 2012 from ver 2000. I have numerous macros that were written for the older version that I need to utilize in ver 2012. I manually recreated them in the new version by typing in the commands from ver 2000. As I expected I am getting errors when I try to run these macros in Ver 2012. The mlayer command, for example, does not work. I am pretty sure I need to use the -layer command and have tried this but I still get errors. While I am relatively proficient in ver 2000 I am having some trouble finding commands in ver 2012 that match the old version. Below is an example of a macro from ver 2000 as well as my attempt to rewrite it in ver 2012.

my rewrite:

I cannot save my previous files created on a student version to an upgraded 2014 version. I tried changing the save as path in the options menu, but no luck. I am able to open the file in the upgraded version but it states that it will open as a student version. Also I cannot copy and paste anything from the student version to the upgraded one. Not sure why.

I have installed the CS4 premium package. It includes the 32-bitand 64-bit versions of Photoshop.�When I click on a PSD file, usually the 64-bit version is launched. Forother image types, usually the 32-bit version is launched.�The plugins (e.g., from onOne) seem to install only for the 32-bitversion and unavailable for the 64-bit version.�Which version should be used? I can force one or the otherlaunched (for example, always click on a 64-bit shortcut to run). Ihave not noticed any particular advantages of one over theother except that the plugins are only available for the 32-bitversion.

I have just installed Adobe Creative Suite 3 Design Standard on my new MacBook Pro. I have activated it. However when i start Version Cue CS3 and check for updates i get the message "No Internet connection. Please check your Internet settings and /or firewall. Waiting for connection...". I have turned off my firewall and the antivirus program and I still cannot get it to work.

I also cannot start Photoshop CS3. When I open the application a blank window titled "Adobe Design Suit Standard CS3" appears as well as Photoshop toolbars which I cannot select. All the options on the toolbar is greyed out and I cannot select any of them. I have to force quit the application.

I just updated my MAC OS 10.6.8 and have CS4version 11.02. I have an Epson pro stylus printer that prints from other software like MS Word and I Photo, but for some reason when I print from Photoshop it goes to the print cue and dsiapears a few seconds later. I have spoke to Epson and they think it is a preference in photoshop that did not agree with the lastest printer firmware update.
