Photoshop :: CS5 And GeoPDF - Getting Blank Page While Updating?
Aug 6, 2012I can open GeoPdf files in Cs2 but when I upgraded to Cs5 I only get a blank image when I open up the geopdf files. Is there a certain setting I'm missing?

Photoshop :: Updating Existing Web Page
Feb 23, 2009I have an existing web page that I would like to keep updating by adding new hyperlinks. I have built the page in Photoshop and "Save for Web" to MS Frontpage. The page will eventually have 36 slices in it so I can add hyperlinks to it.
My problem is that when I unhide a layer (for my new hyperlink) in Photoshop and resave for web into Frontpage, I have to add all of the hyperlinks again. If I add a new hyperlink each week, by the time I get to 36 weeks I will be tired of adding all of those hyperlinks each time I add one. Any ideas? I think the answer lies in the ImageReady part of Photoshop, but I'm not sure how to accomplish it.

Feb 26, 2014I am wondering how to resize an image using the points around the image when it is on a blank file. (I have multiple pictures on a page I've created - for a scrapbook) Currently, when I use the middle points on an image, it stretches the picture and distorts it. How do I get it so that when I use these points it doesn't stretch the image, but crops it to a different size. (And by doing this, parts of the image is lost, but thats ok)

Nov 19, 2012I am creating printable PDF files and up to yesterday I was using a free trial of PSE 10. To create a multi page document I first saved it as a PSE project file, then added blank pages, then when I was done I saved it as a PDF and voila - done!
Now my trial has run out I have bought the paid version (which is now version 11) and I seem to have lost that option entirely. The product is useless to me without a way to create multi page PDFs
Alternatively can I downgrade back to PSE10 which was fine for me!

Mar 15, 2013When accessing the 3D Transform and selecting the shape required and OK. The shape does not download to a blank page. Also the anchor points, pan camera tool and trackball tool are all greyed out. All these features worked a few months ago.

Apr 17, 2013It crashes without warning, it just closed... that's all.It happens whenever I try to:- Save (either clicking on the save button or using CTRL+S)- Group (with CTRL+G or by clicking on the Group button after right click), I've tried to remove the "Pattern" and I can group finally, but still closed when I try to save.I try to remove any fillings but still closes when saving (but it didn't got saved at all)I've browsed through the forums and tried everything... nothing works. Even un-install and re-install didn't work.
It even closes when I try to save a blank page (with only an object like rectangle or something on it)

Nov 27, 2011When I first open Gimp I get a blank page, there's no template I have to create or anything, but when I try to open a new page to adjust other images it make me create a template, even deleting the background layer it starts with gets me an alpha channel.
Is there a way to open a new Gimp window without having to create a template? Like for pasting images into?

Jun 30, 2011i have been working on this project in corel draw12 for several weeks now, as it is or/was coming to its final stages a few days ago it now only opens a blank page, it is 2.14 gb and it will get bigger as it reaches its final stages.i can still see it in preview. when it was opening it took a very long time to open i realise the reason for this is the size im using very high resolution images and designing and editing, or maybe there is another program that you may recommend that will support the size so i can complete my work.
i found a backup copy but it will not import the size is 1.70 gb seems its still too large to open ,
i don't think it has anything to do with memory , i have a full drive laptop is new. my thoughts are that corel draw will not open a file that size, and you are right about breaking it up i should have worked in several sheets but saved them desperately.

Oct 3, 2013Excuse my awkwardness but I'm self taught on AutoCAD & have managed fine for last few months but have encountered an issue this evening I can't resolve. I've produced drawings, basic they may be, but when preview them the actual drawing area is barely noticable & when export to pdf it practically prints a blank page. I have very simple items in drawing, stockpiles, excavations test locations, and have been producing pdf's fine, even as recently as this morning using the same cadfile. But what ever I've managed to do since then has changed something and I can't resolve the issue.

Is there a way to remove the *Model* page setup entry from the list of Page Setups in the Page Setup Manager? This is the first time I am seeing *Model* in the list, and I suspect that it the reason I am not able to generate a PDF for this particular drawing. When I try, I get the following error:

I have this idea that removing *Model* from the list will do it. In addition to causing PDF creation failure, I believe it is also responsible for forcing the Model to always be in the Publish list, even though I have unchecked the "Include model when adding sheets" option. I can remove it from that list manually, but it comes back every time.

Jan 28, 2012Several times a week I need to take a PDF (single-page doc), then convertto a page-sized PNG with quality good enough to read the text (and atransparent border), and then convert to a SWF. I have a PNG-to-SWFutility, but when I used it on the PNG saved after I opened my PDF andexported from GIMP, the end result was not good enough. A co-worker saidGIMP couldn't make a PNG (w/transparency) with enough quality. He said we'dhave to use some other software. Part of the issue was not being able toresize without losing quality before the PNG export. True or false?

Mar 14, 2014After moving a page in my document the master page elements no longer display on screen or in print. If I move the page to a different location in the document the master displays but if it is in the specific position that it needs to be it will not display. The document has multiple Masters and others do work on the page but the one that I need will not. I've tried deleting the page and adding a new one and that does not fix the problem. I've checked and "Hide Master Items" is not checked. The page in question is in position 48 with F-Master applied. If I move it to position 49 it works, 50, it works, 51, or any other it works. If I apply a different master to the page, it works. If I delete the page, add a new page and apply F-Master it still does not work. The only page that this problem is happening on is page 48.

Apr 1, 2014Trying to set up a datamerge file to create multi page spread documents with fields on different pages. Attempting to set it up so it's as automated as possible as there are up to 20 different merge documents needing to merge with up to 100 different csv records from the same file each week . The merge documents have different and repeated merge fields on most pages.
I've set it up so that the document has facing pages, and most pages have images spread across the whole of the spread. the pages preview fine, they are created ok when using 'Create Merged Document' although the page numbers continue from one document to another (another problem). but when I come to export to pdf, then the merge only shows the image on the left spread but on both left and right spread single pages, and the page numbers don't show the correct page numbers eg it will go p1 p2 p1 p2 etc all the way through the document instead of p1 p2 p3 - p20 etc. I don't want to have to merge first then pdf but can't understand why the images and page numbers are not showing correctly.

Mar 30, 2012If it's a bug, then I cannot believe it wasn't caught before the release. So here it is. I simply put artistic text down on page 1. Select the text and copy to clipboard. Add a new page and paste the text. On my computer, the text changes from artistic text (as copied to clipboard) to paragraph default text left justified across the center of the page. It doesn't matter how much text I select, it always pastes on the new page as paragraph text left justified and across the center of the page.
However, if I select artistic text and any other object, copy and paste to a new sheet, it works erectly. Apparently, I now have to select text and an object to insure that the paste feature works properly?
