before i installed the CS4 trial, i uninstalled all previous photoshop versions that were on my computer(cs2,3). but when i open photoshop cs4, it doesnt even start to open. all i get is an error reading "licensing for this product has stopped working" and it says that i must restart my computer before launching, which i did. it's the same error every time. i have a windows xp home edition 32 bit.512 Mb of RAM.
View 2 RepliesI am wanting to trial CS3 extended on a system which already has CS3 installed. When I download the trial it does not attempt to install CS3 extended as a separate application but merely "repairs" the existing CS3 installation and does not give me an opportunity to trial CS3 extended!
How can I get CS3 extended trial to install as an additional but entirely seperate application?
To add a further complication the system is a windows 64bit. The current cs3 is installed but does not take advantage of 64 bit features and installs as a 32 bit application in C:Program Files(86). I understand CS3 extended is meant to take advantage of 64 bit so clearly a seperate install into C:Program Files is needed. The whole purpose of the trial is to see how well CS3 extended takes advantage of the Windows 64 bit OS.
Whenever I try to install the trial it says you don't have enough disk space. I am on an administrative account. I have 2 drives (am installing on D drive which has 65gb left)
C drive has 250mb left. I'm using vista home basic 32-bit ...
I have been downloading the trial for photoshop cs6 extended so i know wether i want to buy it or not but the CS6 Extended features are not available..what i might be able to do.I do have my graphics cards latest drivers and it is recognized in the preferences but still only displays as the standard photoshop CS6

Launched Photoshop CS6 this morning, and suddenly it is a trial version of CS6 Extended. I did not ask for this, I do not want this, I bought, paid for and registered the regular version on the day it was released. I am not renting the software via that stupid creative clod thing, I bought it the regular way. What is happening here? Is this going to happen every time they release a minor update? How do I make it go away?

I downloaded CS4 Extened and used the trial section, with the idea to purchace. Stupidly I inserted an expired serial number and now cant get the program to reload. I would like to purchase but need to know if I delete and re download will this work? If I need to purchase with re-downloading, it is fine but I need the sequence I need to get this right

Also, is it worth me deleting the program and re-downloading it... and if I do that, will my trial continue from its current point?

"Problem with Trial - problem loading trial period for Adobe Photoshop CS3".
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, and even ran the Adobe CS3Clean Script but nothing seems to help.
I should note I never installed any earlier version of Photoshop on my system (I use a fresh copy of Windows XP with only a few programs installed).
I installed the retina display-optimized update to my purchased (non-Creative Cloud) version of Photoshop Design Standard (via the Adobe Updater app that pops up in my menu bar only when updates are available), but now when Photoshop launches, I get Photoshop Extended (and it's a trial version). Is this a known issue? Will I need to reinstall Photoshop?

Try installing it again (Error# 0)".
With Adobe Application Manager, after the files are downloaded and extracted, I get the error "Installation failed: Insufficient disk space to extract files. Please clear space on C: and try again (EX10)", even though both on the target drive (which I've set to D:) and on the C: drive, there is plenty of space available (85GB and 2.5GB, respectively).
I previously had CS4 installed, and uninstalled it before attempting to install the trial of CS6. I'm running Win XP SP3 32-bit on a laptop with 4GB RAM.

I am using trial version of adobe photoshop CS6. I installed the product it runned fine for a day but then it gave error - 16. I reinstalled the product and it runned fine. But after 2 days it again gave the error. This happens with Adobe Flash Professional CS6 also.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI downloaded and installed the CS4 trial version. It installed ok with no errors. CS4 runs ok. Except when I tried to open a JPG file. I got an exception error and the app aborted. When I ran CS4 again I was asked to enter the license key. There was no 'Trial' option displayed. And the menu header of the window said my trial version had expired. Hence I can no longer run it after less than one day.

All updates to Photoshop were installed last time I ran it with no problems.No new hardware has been installed since.Installed Classic Shell since last use, so I uninstalled it but the error persists.Installed Diet Tracker but they don't interfere with each on on the system at home so I know there's no problem there.Nothing else installed except Windows updates.I tried restoring back to the last time I used it still got the error, so undid the restore.I tried repairing Photoshop .no change.I uninstalled Photoshop, rebooted, installed Photoshop. it loaded slower then and the last thing I saw load was plugins then something about Python and then the error again.When I try to open the program, it goes so fast that I can't see what's loaded and where it stops now.
My computer had 37 viruses on it, and they got destroyed. This was a few days ago. Today, I click My photoshop cs5 extended and it gives me an error messege.Configuration Error uninstall and reinstall the product.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI bought a legit copy o photoshopAlbeit I bouhgt it from ebay, but it is definitely legit - not pirated , but a mfr sealed professionally produced copy of CS3 extendedI popped it open and found what I expected the documentation the DVD case with the training video and the serial number on the back. I installed CS3 extended and plugged in my serial number and was greeted with a shiny green check mark (please note this is not just some generic photoshop liscence it is recognized by the software itself). Then I began the activation nightmare that I am currently having. I clicked activateActivate nowThen I got an error telling me to pease try activating by calling customer care.I did that I went through the automated system with m serial numberand activation key and then it said it was unable to process so I retried. Still no luck, then I got a live person on the phone. Here is what they told me:You do not have a valid serial number...Odd, I thought, since your software recognized it as a valid liscence. I tried it in several other photoshop programs only to be greeted by a red x (liscence invalid) so the serial number I have is legit for photoshop CS3 extended, it just won't activate. I tried to tell them that. I asked them what proof they needed from me barcode copy of serial number scan of packaging anything. They told me I needed the reciept from an authorized reseller. I'm afraid I didn't see in the liscence agreement where the agreement between provider and end user was limited by their distributorship. Thank you to me too for buyinga legitimate copy and not going with a free alternative (paint.net as been fine in the past thank you).So I continued the discussion until I finally asked for a supervisor who was slightly more willing to talk about a way we could resolve the activation problem. I am stuck getting the original reciept from the seller to prove to Adobe that their product was in fact original purchased from them. You have to be kidding???!!!?!?!It is unactivated so we aren't even talking about a liscence transfer this product is supposed to be registered to me. And that still doesn't answer the question of how the serial number is recognized by the software and installation (meaning the serial to DVD matches) and the customer service people claim it is not valid. I even asked them to tell me if it was a liscence used as a known pirated copy or something that should invalidate it, but all they can tell me is that it is not valid for the product. If that is the case why print it on the label and affix it to the software?On the other hand perhaps it is just a database error on their part. View 15 Replies View RelatedUnable to use 3D repousse Photoshop CS5 Extended (my system info is described below)I tried almost everything that is available in Adobe library, also re-installed programs as requested by Adobe support (suspected to get rid of me), it did not solve the problem.
I used to have 3D capabilities, and also crop tool worked well before (now it changes all layers when using crop even in background). My PC is same, nor I downloaded plugins or changed video cards (these things are too advanced for me!), also restored preferences many times.
My system makes automatic updates, reviewed graphics and adobe as recommended. OpenGL settings is odd …only can access basic, other modes are not highlighted (normal or advanced).
