When I assign certain profiles to a tiff file (16/RGB), the image turns blue (or sometimes green) and prints that way, too. My printer is an Epson 2200. When I assign, say, the SP2200 Enhanced type profiles (and others) the color of the image changes dramatically.

If I open an sRGB image in CS4 (exported from Lightroom) the appearance in terms of colour is exactly as is shown in Lightroom. However, if I then 'assign profile' sRGB the colours all appear washed out and lose saturation whilst 'converting to profile' sRGB brings everything back. I've never used the 'assign profile' feature before not really being sure what it's real function is,

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I try to merge to HDR pro, the entire photo becomes black. It is still the same photo because when I increase the exposition I can almost make out the original photo. I tried to work on the exposition of the three photos, but that didn't work. I tried everything that I read on the Adobe Forum, but nothing is working. Up until about a month ago, it was working perfectly. I have photoshop cs6 with the latest upgrades and a Mac OS X Version 10.7.5 with 3.4 GHz and 32 GB ram.

I don't have quick mask on. Know this is something stupid, but can't figure it out. Same happens when I try to used eyedroppers with curves. If it's a greyscale image, I notice the black eyedropper when used on the darkest area really puts a light haze over the entire image.

When I create a new transparent image the image goes straight to layer 1 instead of background. When I save or flatten the image it has a white background instead of a transparent like it should.
I flatten an Image, All the colors change to grayscale. Like if you look at the color chart, you see all the normal colors, but if you try to use a color it just comes out different shades of gray. Its horrible, and it happens everytime.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have someone using 3DS Max Design. He has a drawing open. I don't know if these problems are related. Sometimes when rotating around the model in viewport, the model will turn white and start expanding slowly. Other times the model will start flashing and won't stop. In either case, he has to exit the program and open the file again. It is an iMac 27" i7, Radeon HD 5750, running Win 7 Pro on Parallels. I have installed all the latest patches for Mac OS, Win 7 and 3DS Max Design.

I have been trying to save an image at 1200 dpi. The image turns solid black.
I had this problem once before (months ago). I know it has something to do with the Resource Consumption settings (i.e. Edit -> Preferences -> Environment - > Resource Consumption).
I got it figured out before but I reloaded Gimp on my computer so the settings went back to default. It has something to do with increasing the cache size or the total new image size or something. I can't remember.
Any ideas how ot fix this? Every time I try to enter text, the edges of the text is surrounded/selected with lines going around it....how do I stop that and have it stop turning my image red (Its supose to be brown, until I click it then it turns red), it isnt even using the correct colors that I set it at.
View 2 Replies View Relatedon my Windows 7 Ultimate x64 machine, I just calibrated my Dell SP2309W monitor using an i1DisplayPro and basICColor 5, creating a ICC v2 profile (I am aware of the problems under Windows with ICC v4 profiles).

It created the ICC profile and applied it to be used by Windows. I double checked under COLOR MANAGEMENT that the new ICC profile is being used. Although I can see that the new ICC is being used (desktop appearance changes), there are a few issues I am experiencing:

(1.) Windows Photo Viewer

The thumbnails in Windpows Explorer look fine (they DO use the new ICC profile), when I double click a jpeg and open the image it DOES NOT use the new ICC profile. When I click the PLAY SLIDESHOW button (starting the slideshow) in the opened image in Windows Photo Viewer, the images DO use the new ICC profile.

(2.) Internet Browsers
Â
All current internet browser (Firefox, IE, Safari and Chrome) DO use the new ICC profile and display the image correctly.

(3.) Photoshop CS 5

When I open the same image - that Windows Photo Viewer does not correctly displays (according to the new ICC profile) - in Photoshop CS5, I get the same image display that Windows Photo Viewer gives me (when not thumbnail or not in slideshow mode) - it appears to be the sRGB display.

My color settings in PS CS5 are: North America General Purpose 2 > sRGB IEC 61966-2.1.When I go to View > Proof Setup > Monitor RGB I get the image display using the new ICC profile.Why does the image look different in PS than my calibrated monitor should output ?

I was under the impression that the sole purpose for calibrating my monitor was to get a uniform display across (ICC aware) applications. Even when one applies different color spaces to a document in PS, I thought the output on my calibrated screen done by the graphic card should always be according to my calibration and the settings in the ICC profile being used.
I am new to Elements 7 and am having trouble figuring out how to assign ICC profiles.

Sub-category tags still appear present appended to images within the stacks in People mode but are not listed and do not seem accessible in Media mode. Is there a way I can assign these "ghost" tags to an image in the same easy drag & drop way as those listed as keywords in media mode (or make them accessible in media mode)?

"The file you uploaded is too large.
This section will allow you to specify a photo to be used in your profile which is viewable by other board members. Photos must be no bigger than 150 pixels by 150 pixels."
The problem is the image is already smaller than 150x150px I've checked multiple times.
I've been trying to reproduce this color blind conditionfor a long time now and I still didn't figure out how I can do this. I've searched for cluts but didn't find any, only this, which has some previews of them, but no any files I can load into Photoshop's Color Lookup adjustment. I've looked into Pixel Bender plugin, but I'm using CC so that doesn't work either... I've also tried it with the Index Color mode, but that really messes up my image as it has a really low color range (256). I've even tried reproducing the same effect with adjustments, channels, etc, but didn't figure it out.

Since there's a way to perfectly color proof images with this condition, I'm guessing this has to be some kind of ICC profile or something similar. Is there a way I can use it as a color profile?

I made new albums and it did not work, even on the new albums. There was one album that did not have the problem, but when I tried to transfer an affected album's files to it, it developed the problem. I reset the preferences in both Organizer and Editor, and that did not work. It prevents me from moving files out of as well as into albums.Â

I have done that with 2008 but can't do it in 2012.The image from google earth has dimensions on it so it would be easy to scale properly to my drawing.
