I couldn't use the crop tool: when I want to crop any area, the big black-colored area occurs and preventing me to see what I want to crop... Before, with my Photoshop, I didn't have a such trouble, I attached a print-screen and it explains more accurate.
View 9 RepliesI am using OS X 10.8.2, ATI Radeon 4670, CS6 Extended 13.0.1 When I select and place the red eye tool over the eye and click, the black dot appears on the lip or off to the right. Is there some setting I need to make? It has always worked correctly in the past.

View 1 Replies View RelatedIn the old days, one could just use the crop tool and, while drawing crop lines, check the perspective box if you found that you needed to change the perspective. With CS6 if you start with the crop tool, and find you want to change the perspective, you have to change tools to the new perspective crop tool. In the process, you have to tell the newly opened dialog box that you don't want to crop, to get to the perspective tool, which now has reset to its defaults. You've lost your cropping and you have to start over.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI've been an avid user of the Xara Graphics designer for about 2 years and I've been trying to deal with an annoying issue for quite some time when dealing with Shadows. I've come to realize that every shadow is given an outline and if I have a shape with a shadow that goes to the edge of my drawing the outline will actually continue passed the edge of my drawing. When I export the whole image the edge where the shadow outline bleeds over gets rendered as a blank margin. I've attached examples.
The shadow outline can be seen as the box bleeding over the edge...annoying....this is how it looks when I change the quality to "outline"
This is the actually image at "very high quality"....as you can see..the shadow outline edge has exported as empty margins around the graphic
The shadow outline grows or shrinks as I change the shadow blur...this can be seen in the "outline" view... I want to export to the edge of the colored area but I also want the shadow effect...

But the issue is when you select the crop tool and enter a custom constraint and crop
The image size is sometimes a full 2 inches off of what you set as a crop?! I havn't run into this before
[I do know you can use the drop down box and use {size and resolution} but I want to know why it doesnt work under custom and unconstrained]

View 2 Replies View RelatedHaving just updated ACR to ver 6.7 (6.7.0.339) I am surprised to find that the colored fringe removal tool in the Lens Correction palette has disappeared. All that there is now is Transform, Lens Vignetting and the relatively useless Defringe.
I thought updates were supposed to provide enhancements, not remove things. What else has been taken away?

Whenever i use this color it appears as black.
How do i get this fixed??? im clueless
EDIT: When i drag the window im working in around the colors appears as normal but as soon as i let the window go, the cyan turns black again.
My preferences are set up to display the layers transparency as grid size medium and grid colour light but when I use a layer the background is always solid black rather than the chequered design it is set up to be. I have tried altering the preferences, I have tried re-installing CS4 but nothing seems to make any difference.

Sadly any large document I tried to open appears black and sometimes when I zoom in partly displays with random black lines through it. I have checked my system's specs and they all match up with the requirements. I am running Vista SP1 on a Dell computer. I have read all the knowledge base articles relating to this matter and have done everything they said (including disabling OpenGL, etc.)

View 4 Replies View RelatedI am editing some artwork in PS. I use quick keys to go between: b,e,g...(brush, erase, paintbucket). As I move through the image I zoom in and out with key strokes. I haven't figured out just what combination brings up a compass, but when it appears my canvas (not the image, but the whole canvas) kants to one side or another. If I see it in time I mess with it to get it back, but as I don't know what it is called I'm having a terrible time looking up how to control it and set it back to square. It seems like all the layers are okay within the image, so nothing is out of registration, but I don't know what is happening.
Any tool that is activated? Then I can figure out when to use it for real and how to undo it when I don't want it. I'm on a Mac Book Pro using Master Collection 6 and the touch pad. It seems like my finger motions might be triggering it. I have tried to step back, but it wasn't an option. Undo didn't do anything.
I am missing a crop tool which can rotate the crop rectangle. Similar to photoshop's tool. I found no way to rotate the crop rectangle in gimp. How do you cut out something from an image if it needs to be rotated while cropping? I tried rotating first then cropping but it does not give me enough precision so I end up with transparent areas at the border.

When editing a hatched area the panel appears. Why when I stretch some hatched geometry does not the adjacent hatch stretch with it?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI ran some rendereings using revit 2013 , and windows 8 . But everytime I render a view I get a horizontal white area in the background that looks like a white fence.
I attached a rendered view ( draft quality) and a realistic view . you can see the white area in the background in both images.
After selecting the area type tool, I try to click and drag but I get an error message: You must click on a non-compound, non-masking path to create text inside a path. This worked before but I must have screwed something up.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI find the crop tool in CS6 to be such a pain compared to the version in LR4. When using the mouse (in CS6) to reposition the crop area the box hops around and seems to "jump" into certain positions - this is especially pronounced if it gets close to an edge.
I realize I can reposition with the arrow keys but I was wondering if there is a way to disable the "jumping" while using the mouse?
When using the spot tool, often it is very difficult to see when it is against anything light colored in the picture. So is there a key to touch that might change the cursor to red or some color when needed?
