View 4 Replies View Relatedon a picture. i can turn a blue object into yellow, green or any other color. and vice versa. To do that i know 5 different ways, or combination of those methods. 1- Hue/Saturation2- Color Balance3- Selective Color4- Replece Color (Similar to Hue/Saturation) 5- select the area, create a new layer, paint the selected area on new layer, blend the new layer with "linear burn". but when it comes to black, i can't change the black to another color with any of the ways above. So i was wondering if it is possible to turn a black object into white without killing the texture. Or cleaning the object from colors, making it colorless.best way i know so far is playing with "exposure" settings. but this time the objcet on the image is becoming blure and loosing its texture. Here is the object i m trying to make white (or colorless). Do you know any way to do it? i need to make that shoe as white/colorless as this one below.

I have been using Photoshop for a while now but have recently been invited to design some sportswear. I want to initially take existing clothing and change the colours and add designs. As an example, how would I get this soccer kit to be either all white or white on everything apart from the shorts?
I have managed to get yellow to go white using the hue/saturation tool but dark colours seem like its impossible. I do also want to know how to go from white to a darker colour but maybe I should save that for my next thread.
I am trying to turn a black and white checkered line into a circular shape in photoshop.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am a Graphic Designer for a print shop and we just had a large document printed that looked to be in black and white but must have been in color somewhere (gray boxes) and used more clicks on the printer than we wanted. I'm wondering if there is a quick way to check a document like this in CS5 programs to see if it is truly in black and white or if there is something in there that is RGB or CMYK.

I turned off the split toning, but my photos are still in sepia tones , I use Asus Vivobook S200, Windows 8.1. I think this is weird, because this problem does not happen in Lightroom video tutorials in Youtube

I have always wondered how people get to add black and white effect in a photograph.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI've seen tons of photos in black and white that look spectacular. I have a feeling a lot are taken with black and white film, but some must be turned b/w! My question then is how do you achieve this awesome b/w in photoshop? For a while I just turned it grayscale (i know, i know.) Then I just desaturated. And recently someone told me to make a hue/sat adjustment layer and play with each of the different shades. After playing with all these ways I haven't been able to get the effects I want. I tried browsing around looking for a picture that embodies what I want just in case...And I finally decided to just give you a site, I love this photographer and the ways she uses b/w and other tons!

View 4 Replies View RelatedI just recently upgraded to Adobe Photoshop CC and something really odd is happening: On some zoom levels I have this empy black or white box appearing. When I zoom in or out it disappears, or reappears.Â
However, when I save the file as a JPEG, or bring it into Google Nik it is OK. It's almost like there is a software bug, or a bad memory spot in my video card.Â

View 3 Replies View RelatedI use Lightroom 2.2 to import and convert RAW photos from my Panasonic Lumix LX3 to DNG files. Works great except for one thing:
If I shot a photo using the LX3's 'Black and White Dynamic' preset, Lightroom imports it and a few seconds later, the photo becomes colored (really yellow) instead of remaining black and white.
That's weird since I don't use any Lightroom preset when importing these photos. It seems like Lightroom is applying some type of auto-correction to these photos.
Is it possible to do color splash in black/white photos using Adobe Lightroom 4? If so, how?
