I turned off the split toning, but my photos are still in sepia tones , I use Asus Vivobook S200, Windows 8.1. I think this is weird, because this problem does not happen in Lightroom video tutorials in Youtube

Also, I have this apple and its reflection is on the knife that is cutting the apple. How can I get that in color too?
I use Lightroom 2.2 to import and convert RAW photos from my Panasonic Lumix LX3 to DNG files. Works great except for one thing:
If I shot a photo using the LX3's 'Black and White Dynamic' preset, Lightroom imports it and a few seconds later, the photo becomes colored (really yellow) instead of remaining black and white.
That's weird since I don't use any Lightroom preset when importing these photos. It seems like Lightroom is applying some type of auto-correction to these photos.
I've been working in Lightroom 4 on a photo that I took and I have everything the way I want it (these adjustments include increasing the saturation on some colors under the HSL tab). Now I am trying to make the top half of the picture just black and white, but when I chose the Adjustment Brush and sturn the Saturation down on it to -100 and start going over the top half of the picutre, some of the colors (the ones I turned the Saturation up on under the HSL tab) dull a little but do not go completely Black & White.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI applied a preset to an image, and overall I like it except that it has a pinkish tone to it. The develop panel shows it as a black and white (not just desaturated) image, and there is no tone applied through the split tone panel (both saturation levels set to 0%). I can't figure out where the color is coming from -- I'd like to reduce it or change the color without having to drag it into Photoshop.Â

So i was wondering if it is possible to turn a black object into white without killing the texture. Or cleaning the object from colors, making it colorless.best way i know so far is playing with "exposure" settings. but this time the objcet on the image is becoming blure and loosing its texture. Here is the object i m trying to make white (or colorless). Do you know any way to do it? i need to make that shoe as white/colorless as this one below.

I want to initially take existing clothing and change the colours and add designs. As an example, how would I get this soccer kit to be either all white or white on everything apart from the shorts?
I have managed to get yellow to go white using the hue/saturation tool but dark colours seem like its impossible. I do also want to know how to go from white to a darker colour but maybe I should save that for my next thread.

I've been having this problem ever since I installed Photoshop CS5 (12.0.4) on a Windows 7 64-bit machine. I've used the program on a Windows Vista 64-bit PC in the past with no problems.
Â
Any color that has zero red information will turn black when in RGB mode and in either 8 or 16-bit mode. If I use the paintbrush, for example, a color with RGB 0/100/100 will be black. However, the color 1/100/100 will not. This problem also occurs with imported images. I've only tried JPEG and PNG so far. The problem does not save out though, as any image exported from Photoshop will appear fine. The issue seems to go away when in 32-bit mode, but it's a little RAM-intensive, and the file sizes are quite large.

I have reinstalled Photoshop, reset its preferences, and reinstalled my video card's drivers (I have a Radeon HD 7870). My PC has 8 GB of RAM and plenty of free hard drive space.Below is a screencap of what's going on.
I have always wondered how people get to add black and white effect in a photograph.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI've seen tons of photos in black and white that look spectacular. I have a feeling a lot are taken with black and white film, but some must be turned b/w! My question then is how do you achieve this awesome b/w in photoshop? For a while I just turned it grayscale (i know, i know.) Then I just desaturated. And recently someone told me to make a hue/sat adjustment layer and play with each of the different shades. After playing with all these ways I haven't been able to get the effects I want. I tried browsing around looking for a picture that embodies what I want just in case...And I finally decided to just give you a site, I love this photographer and the ways she uses b/w and other tons!
