I know how to make it B&W & I can't get it to work with the paint bucket or anything like that.

View 5 Replies View RelatedMy image is in grayscale though it's recognised as RGB. It contains structures in white which I would like to fill with a colour. So basically, I'd like for all the white in the image to show up as e.g. red.
How do I do that? I'm guessing it must be possible to have a red layer and somehow this will then fill the white, but I'm getting confused with background and foreground filling options and I don't know which transparency options I have to choose.
I have an old black and white photo of a family member I would like to colorize. how is this done? ? I am new to photoshop.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI am using Photo Paint 9 to edit photos I took of some watercolors I did. Many of the photos are of a single animal on a white background (similar to the California state flag). When I printed many of these out they  had a greenish tint (not a printer problem) so I went to Image--Adjust--Color Balance.... I adjusted the cursor on the Magenta/Green bar to -15 (towards Magenta) and hit ok. The problem is, now when I print, the image is ok but the background which I want to be pure white now has a pinkish (magenta?) tint to it.
Is there any way to isolate the image and get the background pure white again? Â

View 1 Replies View RelatedAfter converting a color photo to black and white, the image that prints out has a sepia tone to it. The image looks black and white on my screen and when I print a black and white image directly from the internet, it prints out in good black and white mode. What adjustment is available to get rid of this sepia tone?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently purchased photoship 12 after the free trial. I downloaded 4201 photos from a trip oversease. I organized all the photos by date and location. I then created a slide show. This morning I was tring to locate my slide show to view. I found a slide show in projetcs but is was not the photo's I created in my slide show and it had duplicates of same photo's. I am new to this program don't know what went wrong.
Â
I watched a tutorial and then tried to creat a catalog to isolate all the photo's...wrong thing to do. NOW I SEEMED TO HAVE LOST ALL MY PHOTOS AND SLIDE SHOW
Â
QUESTION: How do I get back to my starting point and retrieve all my photo's and slide show? What a pain!!!!
i have seen a black and white photo with parts of the photo masked back to the ordinary colour.
eg. the picture is all black and white but the hair and clothes back to colour.
how to achieve black and white photos where either one other colour remains throughout (i.e. everything that was red, stays red, everything else is b&w)....
i found this but it just doesn't work for me
the other thing is how to keep one section coloured (like just one person in a photo, everything else b&w)....is the only way to do this by zooming in and going round painting each pixel of that mask-layer white?
Yesterday when I opened a black and white image from LR4 to Photoshop CS6 they opened as RGB-sRGB, today after doing an update to both photoshop and camera raw they now open up with an embedded profile mismatch of gray gamma with the option to change the working profile to dot gain 20%. I don't recall seeing these options before, looking in edit-colour settings I don't have any options to change to RGB.
Â
I can of course change the settings to RGB in image-mode and also in edit-convert to profile but this would be a real pain to do this everytime I want to work with b/w.
how to colour a b/w drawing?
View 2 Replies View Relatedhow can i take the color out of a image?
View 4 Replies View Relatedon a picture. i can turn a blue object into yellow, green or any other color. and vice versa. To do that i know 5 different ways, or combination of those methods. 1- Hue/Saturation2- Color Balance3- Selective Color4- Replece Color (Similar to Hue/Saturation) 5- select the area, create a new layer, paint the selected area on new layer, blend the new layer with "linear burn". but when it comes to black, i can't change the black to another color with any of the ways above. So i was wondering if it is possible to turn a black object into white without killing the texture. Or cleaning the object from colors, making it colorless.best way i know so far is playing with "exposure" settings. but this time the objcet on the image is becoming blure and loosing its texture. Here is the object i m trying to make white (or colorless). Do you know any way to do it? i need to make that shoe as white/colorless as this one below.
