i have a graphic of a zebra stripe, a long rectangle with the various stripes going vertically down in various shapes and sizes. I need to "bend" it into a circle. I tried just creating a pattern out of it and filling a circle selection with it but it's not evenly bent because of the way it fills.
I want to bend a line in photoshop. I create a path with the line tool, but then what? If I add an anchor point, it creates a new line that closes the shape.. I can position that line over the bend line, but i can be done more simple I recon..
I'm working on some renderings for homes, and I need to plase some bricks over an arch on a window. I've got a pic of bricks all lined up, but they are straight, and I need them to bend around a curve.
ive got a red sock and a white sock, and i want to place the colors black red yellow onto the red sock, so that it looks as realistic as poissible. problem is that i cant get the structure of the sock onto the new colors (i tried diffrent blending modes, displace).
Is there a way to insert a Ai graphic into msWord and the graphic text still be searchable in msWord? I would like the text in my Ai graphic to be searchable once the graphic is inserted in msWord. I have tried different Ai exports, but all come into msWord as pictures. Is there a way to keep the Text Layer in my Ai file searchable in msWord.
How do I paste a graphic over an existing graphic on a header? and how do I determine the amount of pixels to be covered and the amount of pixels in the graphic I am wanting to use?
I create a graphic in Corel Draw X4 and export it as a .png file. It is a button with rounded corners. It will be going on a black background when put into an iphone app. So as to not have the little white corners show up from the rectangular export window, I made the button on top of a black rectangle, slightly larger than the button. I then selected the black to be transparant during the dialogs of exporting to png. When viewed in an image viewer the black is indeed transparent and does not show up. All looks fine.Â
To test what it will look like when put on top of a black background, I also make a black square and export it as a .png. I then open the black background in Corel Photopaint and then import the graphic into the background image. A siloutte of it shows up with the marque borders but the graphic itself (the colors and contents of the graphic don't). When combined with the black background it just disappears. Why doesn't it just lay on top of the other graphic?
I drew up a piece of paper with a slight bend to it. The text should go over top as if it's written on the paper. The problem is, I need the text to bend along with the curve on the bottom left of the page as it gets closer.
I've recently learned how to bend a brush along a path in illustrator, but would love to be able to do the same in photoshop. Is it possible, and if so how?
bending text around the outside of a circle. The arc command under warp text doesnt quite arc it as much as I want it to. Is there another way to arc/bend text?
A method to bend a linear 3D extruded object in Z space? I'm wanting to bend an object such as this (created in Photoshop CS6): Â Into an object such as this (achieved in a dedicated 3D application), but I want to be able to do it in Photoshop.
You know how you can create a streight line with the line tool, well is there a way to start to bend it as you wish. For example to get a symetrical ) type curve.
work in broadcast and a new piece of gear prefers png files. I know how to save png's with a transparency, that's not the problem. What I don't know how to do or if it's possible is to save them with a straight or fat alpha. Right now we feather or extend the edges out past the alpha of say a logo and save it as a tif, psd or .tga. That way once it's keyed over video or whatever, the edges look good, no black bad edging.. But switching to png files, how to make a straight or fat alpha since it sees transparency. I mean if I feathered out the edges, a png will see that correct, since there's no alpha?
I think this features is on a programas like painshop and similars, but I can't find it on photoshop, I want to do geometrical shapes using the pencil tool with soft edges.
Is there a way to save the alpha channel not premultiplied in a tga as I need straight alpha ... ? While testing I got strange behaviour.... I have 5 bar from white to black with RGB value of 255,191,128,64,0  1) Copy pasting those from rgb to alpha give me some "conversion error"  255191128640255191 and 192128 and 12964 and 650  Opening this in other software will give me  255175105460   2) Copy pasting the red channel to the alpha give me "converted premultiplied" value  255191128640255204149850 opening this in other software will give me  255191128640Â
I don't think we're the only one that needs to have straight alpha?
Is it possible to use the eraser (or perhaps another tool) to erase in a straight line (rather than freehand)? I have an image that I need to make a series of erasures...take away straight line segments of the image. I keep finding how to "erase a straight line" on the internet but they are only discussing how to erase or clear a straight line just drawn...not what I am after. If there is a way (I was hoping I could use the eraser tool and press the shift key or something)
If i wanted to draw a straight line with a color, much in the way you would traditionally with the edge of a rule, with the paintbrush or pencil tool, how would i do this? The pen tool creates paths. i do not want this. i just want to draw or paint a straight line.
