I'm logged in as local administrator to Windows 7 64bit OS and everytime I tried to install CS5.5 Master I kept getting this message, "Administrator privilege are required to install" I can install any program but just not CS5.5.

I downloaded X6 patch #1 with no problem, but then I downloaded patch #3 and when I press Continue to install I get a notice: An Internet connection required. connect to the Internet and try again... But I AM connected to the Internet! I have no options how to proceed.

View 3 Replies View RelatedThis is on a completely fresh installation of windows 7 x64.Before installing Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Master Collection x64 autoplay for my camera works, after installation it does not work. If I uninstall it, it works again.Where is this program disabling autorun for devices. Autorun for flash drives works fine, its just the non-volume devices that are affected.
I tried using gpedit and reg keys to re-enable autoplay for the camera but it does not work.When I plug my camera in, I can still go to my computer I can get my pics without any issues, its just that this is bugging me.Don't think there is an answer out there, guess I just need to not be so OCD with this stuff.
I currently have Premiere Pro CS5.5 installed as an upgrade from CS4. I have purchased a new, unopened copy of CS5.5 Master Collection Full Retail Version.
Should I deactivate and uninstall the existing installation of Premiere Pro before installing the Master Collection? I have made a clone of my OS drive just in case something goes wrong with the installation.
When I ry to 'Define Object Class', I get an error message "Insufficient privileges to execute this command".
How do I set privileges for a drawing, to allow this?
Can I set privilege by username as well, so particular users will always be permitted certain rights?

I was told by the error message to uninstall or reinstall the progam, which I did. But after uninstalling and installing CS3 again, only Adobe Acrobat was successful. All other components failed.

I am trying to install a plug-in from PSKiss to Photoshop CS5 (version 12.0.4). I'm using Adobe Extension Manager CS5.5, and I'm running Windows 7 on my laptop.
Although I'm following up with PSKiss to see if there's a problem at this end, I also see an issue with Adobe Extension Manager. When I open it, the Install button is grayed-out. I can see neither of the plug-ins I've already installed in Photoshop, nor can I install anything new. I am running Adobe Extension Manager as Administrator.
Also, yes, I'm using my laptop with an Administrator account.
I tried to install Photoshop CC via Adobe Creative Cloud installer. The installer says it's up-to-date but it's not working. Tried to uninstall the app but it's not working. I deleted the whole Photoshop folder without any luck. I'm running Mac OSX 10.8.4.

The patch is for version 12.0.5 or 5.1.1. When unzipping it is looking for a 12.0.5 file and it cannot find it since I only have 12.0.4 and there is no newer file when updating. When I do unzip the file and run the installer, I get Installing 12.0.5 then... There was an error installing this update. Error Code: U44M21218.
I was advised to download photoshop via adobe application manager as I have an XP OS. I even downloaded the application manager but now it fails to install saying "remote server not properly placed.Try after a few minutes" Whenever I retry I get the same message. I recently installed Photoshop CS for a user. After installing, I ran the program without issue. When the user logged in and tried to run it the following error was displayed: "Current user account does not have privileges to perform product activiation. Run this application from a user account with administrative priveleges or contact your system administrator." We do not allow any users to run as administrators at the company I work for. We are willing to elevate permissions for users if a program references files that standard users do not typically have access to. We attempted giving full control to the Photoshop folder but that did not work. Has anyone run into this error and found where the permissions need to be changed?
