This has been installed and working since just after CS6 released, now Photoshop won't launch it gives me this "sign in required" screen the only change to my OSX 10.7.5 system is I ran the recent Adobe updates
i bought CS6 directly from Adobe... i guess i could just click on some suspect mystery SignIn screen..
Photoshop CC today opens Adobe Application Manager, says "Sign in Required", but with correct info gives error message. Also, CC desktop not working. I haven't had any problem in the previous two months. I also was just build two weeks ago, and had to update my billing information. I tried online chat, after 30 minutes of typing, I've been disconnected twice. The funny thing is, Photoshop CC does open, and it works fine. I'm on a Mac running the latest operating system and hardware.
why it is that I click on "create" to make a card or poster I get the sign in pop up that I fill out and it displays "Signing in..." and that is as far as it goes? This software is useless to me without the ability to create fun image files. In every attempt to sign in, this is what I get and it is not just slow. It just doesn't sign in.
I'm logged in as local administrator to Windows 7 64bit OS and everytime I tried to install CS5.5 Master I kept getting this message, "Administrator privilege are required to install" I can install any program but just not CS5.5.
Like the subject says. I know there is a place to check or uncheck whether you want Adobe Reader to launch after you have saved a file to .pdf but for the life of me I can't remember where that is located.
I use Photoshop frequently to work on photographs that I print for others. Recently I changed the ink I use from the genuine type to the compatible type of ink cartridges. I now purchase ink cartridges from a company called Dealo at [URL].
The problem is that there is a slight difference between the color balance of printed photos between the genuine and the ones from Dealo. Unless you place the two side by side for comparison you probably wouldn't notice but here is my dilemma. Most of the clients I produce photos for are repeat clients, which means they can do side by side comparisons.
I have a ton of photos (taken with a digital camera) that I would like to get developed properly.
Before I do this there are a number of photos that need straightening up etc. To do this I will be using the crop tool.
The thing is though, as soon as I crop a straightened up image then some bits will be lost from the sides. Early on the guy in my local photo shop was explaining how he uses the crop tool in photoshop elements (I have Photoshop 7.0.1) to get the correct proportions for developing.
I just got PS CS3 in the mail, and saw DVD-ROM drive listed in the system requirements. Before I take the plunge and open the box, is a DVD-ROM drive _really_ required to install the program, or just to view video content?
I have what I assumed would be a pretty simple task, however it has turned into a pain. I'm creating for a series of digital stamps for an application that processes checks. Stamps will say things like, Previously rejected - Do not redeposit. The app based on a status calls a file and it is placed on top of the check file.
Anyway the specs are black and white, 1 bit and tiff. SO, I'm typically an AI user so once I realized AI didn't do 1 bit tiffs I turned to PS...which I don't know that well. When I create a new document and make it bitmap, 1bit and the size I need, I'm VERY limited with what I can do with the text. I'm not really sure what's going on. I click on the screen with the text selection tool and the artboard area turns pick. I can't edit my text once I click off of it and it's basically blinking black and white??? There is no text layer created, I can't create layers, the text is added to the background layer (which is locked and can't be unlocked).
I'm using Photoshop 7.0 and well, everything worked fine until... I tried typing using a 8 sized font. But it automatically change it to 13.33 poping a window saying ' a value between 13.33 and 172800.00 is required. Closest value inserted' and it happened after I used the 8 sized font on different images, many times before. Plus it only happens on certain images... if I created a new images (regardless it's size) it won't pop the error.
This problem will probably be very simple for a lot of you. Unfortunately, I'm not as adept at Photoshop as I should, or would like to be.
I want to design a postcard for my business, using several photos in a scattered arrangement on the card, with my business name on.
I'm using Elements 5 and have played around with the "create a greeting card" function. It comes close to what I want to do, but it does seem rather basic. As Photoshop always seems have more than one way of doing something, I was wondering if there is more effective way of going about it, buried in Elements somewhere. Or perhaps there is another, (preferably cheap) program that is better at this. One thing I would like to do is to change the background colour on the card and not have to rely on the background templates offered in the special effects palette. Ultimately, I will be getting them professionally printed, so I will need to supply the printer with the art work in the appropriate form.
Seems like I go through this problem time and again with Photoshop + Acrobat CS2 and still have yet to resolve a way of fixing it short of completely wiping my drive and re-installing Windows (XP Pro) The error is "application library failed to load and the product cannot continue"
If there is anyone out there that has figured out a way to fix this issue please fill me in.
This time I went as far as a complete and though removal of all Adobe products from the system and the registry and then completely reinstalled the product.
I have forgone purchasing CS3 because of this issue as I am 99% sure that it has still not been resolved.
Basically Photoshop and Acrobat are useless at this point and I am using an old version of Picture Publisher and Macromedia Fireworks to complete my work. This I assume is good advertising for Adobe :)
See this post in the forum "could not complete your request because of a program error", PDF format, cs2, xp" as this is an ongoing Adobe issue that they have completely blown off!

After installing Photoshop CS6 I am unable to scan from within photoshop. I went to the Epson website and followed the instructions given but still no scanner shows up in the File > Import command. I am also unable to complete the crop and straighten photos command from the File > Automate menu, I get a dialog box that states "A required operation is unavailable." I have used this feature for many years and it has saved me many hours of scanning, I need this to work.
Error Message in Premiere Elements 11 (mac) when loading .MPEG videos: “The selected file cannot be played because your system does not have the required compressor / decompressor (codec) installed.” Question is, how do I determine what codec is needed?
I had Photoshop CS6 installed and working on my Mac using Adobe Creative Cloud. However now a dialog appears that says "Help Improve Adobe's Product". Regardless if I approve this dialog or not Adobe Photoshop starts up with every menu option grayed and I can do nothing. I have to force quit the application. At this point it is 100% unusable.
I've googled it and seen others with a similar issue but no solutions found. I have OSX 10.8.3.
Others with similar issues. URL....No real solution other than don't use Mac Keeper (which I do not) URL....
Product: CS4 64 bit: Adobe Output Module-Adobe updater downloads 2 updates 75.9mb (Camera Raw 5.3). After download and permission to continue under user account control, I receive popup menu advising me that Installation Incomplete, close Adobe Bridge - 3 choices, which always fail. My Adobe CS4 and Bridge are not open. I tried this several times with the same result.I downloaded the zip file, saved, unzip, and still get the same notice - close Bridge.
I need to make an image with the famous "HOLLYWOOD" sign, but change the words.. in this case to "HOMECOMING". It's for my school newspaper I have looked up tutorials and haven't been able to find any, except the font. Any ideas? I am extremely new to Photoshop.
I have a picture that has a sign in it. I'm going to crop the sign. Because the sign is higher than my camera, the sign looks tilted. Is it possible to make the sign look flat and take out the glare spots.
I have somehow accidently hidden the close, minimize and expand circles in Photoshop CS6 on a mac and now every time I want to minimize photoshop I have to go into window > arrange > minimize instead of just clicking the circle.
I have tried the tab key, the 'F' key, view > screen mode and window > arrange and none of them have worked and I cant find anything online.
Photoshop cc started to ask me to sign in before starting the program, but, when i'm sure my email and password is correct and my internet connection is on, it can't seem to sign in, no matter how much i clicked 'sign in' it won't sign in. it's says that i need to connect to the internet, but i'm already connected. in the end photoshop won't start up.
