Photoshop cc started to ask me to sign in before starting the program, but, when i'm sure my email and password is correct and my internet connection is on, it can't seem to sign in, no matter how much i clicked 'sign in' it won't sign in. it's says that i need to connect to the internet, but i'm already connected. in the end photoshop won't start up.
View 1 RepliesRecently purchased a new plotter thats 32 bit. Problem is, my Win 7 is 64 bit, holy smokes! so the two wont work together.I cannot even download the plotters installation process. Was told that Corel Draw can bridge the two correctly so I am leaving Letter Art and joining the Corel Draw family. I have a few questions concerning this matter. First, can Corel actually bridge these two? Second, Letter Art saves their files as gnt, showing up in My Documents as sym (go figure) so knowing that Corel can import all types of files, can they import pcx, sym and/ or gnt as well?

But then I get this error: "This program cannot display the webpage. Most likely causes:You are not connected to the Internet. The website is encountering problems. There might be a typing error in the address"
But I am connected to internet. If I click on Account settings it works. The main problem that I have is that for any updates I need to Sign in but I get the same error!

I cannot share photos from my Elements 8.0 Organizer via email. The program does not recognize that I have an email program loaded. The computer is a new HP desktop with Windows 7 Home Premium Service Pack 1 operating system. My Elements 8 does everything I need except for the photo sharing so I don't really want to purchase a new version.

I have tried the tab key, the 'F' key, view > screen mode and window > arrange and none of them have worked and I cant find anything online.

I am running PS CC on Win 7 Pro, 64-bit and am 4 months into a one-year subscription. Ever since I started usiing the CC version (was using CS4 Web Premium), I have intermittently gotten weird startup messages like "You have 0 days left on your trial (?) version", "You have only 65535 days left on your trial version", "You need to register/activate your trial version" and "This Adobe ID has already been used to activate the software on two other computers".
Earlier today, I ran the Abobe Cloud app on my PC and updated the software (Abobe Cloud only, not PS CC). Ever since then, I get a continuous "This Adobe ID..." message -- I can't get into PS CC at all. And, by the way, the "two other computers" part is completely bogus -- I have activated it on one computer only.
Note: I live in an extremely rural area, up in the mountains with not exactly the fastest internet service (total bandwidth for the entire community is 20 M-bit), which may be giving the Adobe software indigestion, I don't know...

For two days when I try to sign in within Elements 10, it freezes up showing the Signing In dialog. The only way out is using the Task Manager. I'm running Vista. I can sign in using my browser so my ID and pswd are OK.

I am used to a different more limited paint software package.
So doing simple stuff in Photoshop is new to me.
When I clicked on the color square it presented me with a dialog box to select a color. I tried everything I could think of but it only gives me shades of gray.

After installing Photoshop CS on my laptop (PIII 866Mhz, 256Mb) it won't start. Error message is "Memory could not be allocated for the activation process. Please close all applications and try again". Adobe list the minimum spec as PIII and 128Mb.

It's a fresh install of XP - all updated now &
naturally fresh install of Pshop which did work for a while..
Machine is new, dualcore intel, 2GB ram, 2 hard drives.
Was wondering was dualcore a problem (it's new for me as well as for pshop 5.5 - but it wasnt a problem initially, so..)
I can think of 2 things I did before this problem arose -
1) installed Adobe Illustrator 8
2) changed windows page file to a partition on second harddrive & set photoshops scratchdiscs to same partition
[unfortunately dont know which I did first & if it worked immediately afterwards...]
I wasnt using it much for a while (so it could be the fault of something completely different),
when I tried to restart it gets as far as
"initialising icc engine"
then i get the needs to close & contact microsoft window which
shows the info but doesnt let you copy it (damn ms)
