I downloaded X6 patch #1 with no problem, but then I downloaded patch #3 and when I press Continue to install I get a notice: An Internet connection required. connect to the Internet and try again... But I AM connected to the Internet! I have no options how to proceed.

View 3 Replies View Relatedmy major commands: (save, export, copy, etc.) are all frozen until I sign in, BUT when I attempt to sign in Corel error message pops up that I am not connected to the internet. I work at a large design firm and have full access to the internet, no firewall or anything and have no other problems connecting, so this is most likely a Corel issue and not my connection, I believe. Also, other people at my office have it installed and no problems.

I recently installed Win7. I then downloaded the trial version of X5 from Corel's site and tried to install it. The splash screen I get has no caption on the "install" and "cancel" buttons. When I press the "install" button I get nothing, it goes nowhere. When I press the "cancel" button it cancels, moves to a cance screen from where I can only exit by clicking the top right close icon.

Why why why, doesn´t it install over X4? Is there anyway that i could install it? My previous version was CDGS 12 and Embroidery + KPT installed and they worked well.
X4 seems to be much better than 12 at first test...

Occasional crash and slow to open all services. I use Corel every day, cannot live without it.Runs days with many files created with no restart.Then during day of 20/May/2011 A new file saved could not be opened. ( silent no warning ),
All Old files Open OK, templates open OKany new file made since cannot be opened. No Known install or updates on the day or days prior to issue.Ran repair. Issue continued unchanged.Eventually restated with F8. But new files again not opening.Updated user default settings no change with issue.I did notice long delay in saving new file longer than normal.
Restarted Corel Draw, which now Hangs on stat up ( Loading users settings stage )Restarted machine same problemUninstalled X5, Restarted, Re installed X5 Install OK. I have tried "Corel Draw 12 and vista" which attempted to run the Microsoft installer through the command prompt running under Administrator, but it doesn't work.
X6.I'm not sure of the correlation, but it seems that ever since I downloaded the recent update, the colours (including black/grayscales) in the RGB vs CMYK palettes look different. What I mean is, I have the RGB and CMYK palettes right next to each other, and they used to look identical; now all the CMYK ones look lighter/washed-out than before.Or could it have been a recent Windows update?

However my custom gradients have disappeared..., it took me a while to set up certain gradients and I removed lots of the useless default ones that were there preset in the previously installed corel draw.
I accessed my old hard drive and found the gradient preset file however when I copied and replaced with the old gradient file the gradient data is not there....

After installing windows upgrades on win 7 (64-bit) my Corel X6 products have gone mad.When i try to open Draw or Paint the program loads to the splash screen and locks.the splash screen is black and the program does not respond anymore.I tried to uninstall the X6 Graphics suite but the uninstall screen is Black as well..I tried to uninstall every windows update to the date the problem started, but no luck.I have too much info on my computer to do a whole install of all programs.
