Since PSP has devolved into adware I would like to know how to disable those annoying ads for PSP x5. Checking the "don't show this again" box does nothing. Is the only way to get rid of the ads really to just stop using PSP?
how to disable the "You have selected more than 10 files" warning in PSP X5. It's not listed in the warning preferences and as I work with more than 10 images every day it's a total pain.
Every time I insert a USB stick or CD or DVD which contains image files I get a popup window asking me if I want to download those files.
I know that I can disable this annoying window by running MSCONFIG and then selecting STARTUP and then unselecting CorelIOMonitor and Corel Photo Downloader but is there another way of disabling it (as I really prefer not to change STARTUP.
How do I disable, remove, destroy, the image tabbing (document) feature that is anoying as heck? I don't want tabs. Every time i enlarge an image (scrollwheel) or i drag an image close to the top of the workspace EVERYTHING gets tabbed again. I want to totally remove this feature.
Just came upon an error I had not seen before. Though PSP no longer supports Animation Shop, up until PSP X4, the user has been able to export frames back to PSP from Animation Shop. Now, this no longer works! There's still some communication there, because an error message - which, incidentally, makes absolutely no sense at all - is generated in PSP X4:
i tried to erase the extra line but when i do it,it shows the checher black and white behind the white back ground, how to get rid of it when erasing lines on white background?
You basically have to click "Expand canvas" every single time you paste a screenshot larger than the canvas. Sure, open a canvas that size, etc etc, but I'm looking for a permanent solution which would allow you to use the "Expand" choice AUTOMATICALLY, by default, without a popup. On that note, here's another annoying thing. Whenever I open images, crop out something, open a new one, paste it there, save it, etc, I usually have tons of unsaved images which I no longer need. I just want to exit the whole thing altogether without any save popups, etc. Like you would do in MSPaint. Open a canvas, paste in something, save it or don't, exit, the program closes nice and fine. My problem is:
This. I don't want to save every single image separately, because I no longer need them. Neither do I want to manually click each and every single one and tell it not to save, nor do I want to click "Don't Save" every time I exit. This may seem like pointless bitching, but trust me, it really gets on your nerves when you're using the program literally hundreds of times per day.
So, is there any way to disable these popups and define an "automatic" feature, to simply close and enlarge under any circumstances?
I'm trying to open a .tga image file with Paint.NET.
But instead of the actual image, I just get the grey-and-white transparency grid.
I can see that the image seems to be somewhere behind, because when I use the color-selecting tool on it, I can have the various colors of the image in the color window, with a 0 alpha-transparency.
Is there a way to disable this transparency so I can see the image and be able to modify it ? (I should mention that there is only on layer to that image.)
I installed PSP X4 today on a new PC with Windows 7 and noticed that it has no Animation Shop. Can I install Animation Shop to this machine? Will it work without PSP 9 or does it need certain dlls from PSP 9 ? I really want to be able to use Animation Shop again.
if is possible to create the paint drips in the attached design. I really want to learn how to create urban designs, is corel paint shop x3 suitable for that?
I want to use the paint brush for editing a photo I have, but the only color available is black. No matter where I've looked in PSP, there was no option to change the color of the paint brush. I've read online that you need to change the pallet to material pallet, then go to "Foreground & Stroke Properties" and set the color box to the color I want, but the only colors I get are different hues of black and gray.
Even in Paint it's just a matter of clicking the desired color to use different colors. Why isn't it so simple in PSP?
I'm using Paint.NET 3.5.8 on Windows 7 SP1 64-bit.
While editing small (16 x 16) images, I noticed that Paint.NET used a grid with a width of 2 pixels. Selection rectangles snap to this grid, as do paste operations.
How can I specify the grid width or disable this snap to grid effect altogether?
I previously downloaded a trial version of PS6 after it expired I purchased and installed PS6 via disks. When I now try to run PS6 the trial version popup appears and states trial version expired. I reenter my license number which causes PS6 to work for a few days (if that) then I have to re-do this process. what files I need to remove to prevent this from happening.
I have 3 displays connected to my computer, 1 of which is a tablet screen I don't use all the time. (It gets disabled and put away when I turn on SLI for video gaming, or if I just dont need to draw anything at the moment) If I'm drawing something, I'll drag photoshop over to that 3rd screen and do my work. Later, if I want to just crop or resize an image or do simple image manip stuff, I'll drag the window back over to one of my other two screens. The problem I'm facing is that popup dialogs like the open file, save as, preferences; any new window that photoshop opens, appears on whatever monitor it did last time.
Is there a way to force photoshop to always show those windows centered or at least on the same screen the rest of the program is working on? I've been searching for a while and the closest thing I found was a setting called 'Remember Palette Locations', but it looks like that setting was removed in CS5.
I'm willing to change preferences, run some kind of reset script any time photoshop starts, or whatever, just something that will bring those new windows onto the screen I'm working on instead of where they last were. I sat perplexed for about 1 minute when I saved a picture as PNG. Went to upload it and.. ohp! it hasn't changed! Oh! There is an interlace option dialog is showing on a screen thats TURNED OFF.

I can't figure out how to customize popup menus. In particular, if I right-click a layer in the layer panel a huge list opens, there are far too many items that inhibit my workflow. All I want to do is hide some of them.
These are some I'd like to hide:
No Color Red Orange Yellow Green Blue Violet Gray Postcard New 3D Extrusion From Selected Layer New 3D Extrusion
How to burn a Blu-ray with a popup menu (i.e. a menu that can be accessed without interrupting the playing of a Blu-ray)? I have no problem making Blu-rays but can't seem to find any information on how to get this to work (the promotional material from Corel says it can be done).
lately everytime i open a file in photoshop I am getting a pop up saying that the document has an embbeded color profile that does not match the current RGB working space. How can I not have that pop up everytime i open a document?
I am currently running the new creative suite 6. Everything works perfectly fine but when I am in Photoshop trying to open my layer styles it will not pop up...but I know it's there because the hand shows up and I can't click anything else until I click enter which would mean im done in the layer styles.
I restarted my computer/re-installed Photoshop / downloaded the update...still doesn't work but it once did.
The advanced color popup is off my monitor and nothing I have tried will bring it back. Without access can't select any colors accept the default palette. When I select Advanced the popup is not visible. Just get a ding if I try to click anywhere. Pressing return apparently closes popup so I can proceed.
I have three monitors. Have tried making window small and positioning it on the various monitors. Have tried a Repair Installation. Don't have disks for a complete reinstall because product was a downloaded buy.
