I making a bling picture on a web site. Im seeing my pic on paint in pixel mode. What i want to do is see all like colors so i can pic them to put in my web bling. That way i dont have to pic one color at a time to transfer. Does this make sense?
View 1 RepliesI have noticed on two machines that the SAP of Soft 2012 results on some odd offsets when trying to pick a vertex in paint weights mode. Apply a simple envelope and then go to solo and select vertex to see the offset from where your mouse arrow is and the vertex it highlights. Worked fine until the SAP update.
This has occurred on two separate machines. How/where do we submit a bug report?
Would it be possible to have an option that allow color picking to pick document's pixel's color, rather than current layer's color with its opacity ?
I really never want to pick a color from a single layer. I always want to pick the color I see, and without its opacity, the one that result from the blend of all layer on the document's pixel on which I pick the color.
Why won't survey mode(N) let me pick only one photo? It used to let me but now won't. I have the latest software update on Lightroom 4, working with an iMac(OS X 10.8.2). I hightlight several images to pick from, click on one and press "P" to pick it. It then picks ALL of the photos I have hightlighted instead of only the one I clicked on.
It's not supposed to do that according to the website...yet it's still happening to me. In the Library module, do one of the following:
Select one or more photos in the Grid view, or select a single photo in the Filmstrip in Loupe, Compare, or Survey view. Then, choose Photo > Set Flag and choose the flag you want. If more than one photo is selected in the Filmstrip in Loupe, Compare, or Survey view, the flag is applied only to the active photo.
Feature that would pick the right color on the 1st mouse click when working with images that have many colors and shades etc...Today we need to move the mouse over the pixel and click it to select the color under it and make it active, only then we get the RGB/HSV/Alpha info about it.and if its not the correct pixel info we need to select again. etc...
to make the color selection faster and more accurate on the first click and also enable us to select directly only the pixel with RGB info we want.
It would be great to have online/active display of the Color and RGB/HSV/ALPHA information on the pixel under the color picker , in the toolbar like in the picture i have added.this would make color selection easy and with less clicks on the mouse.just move the mouse over the image, look at the color and select the color you need.the data can be placed anywhere, I just placed it there since its connected to the tool.
This would be great to have on other tools, like the (Magical) Fill Bucket so we can select the color we want to fill with other color etc...or the Magic Wand selection tool to select the color with the RGB info we want.

View 5 Replies View RelatedIt blows my mind that somthing this simple isnt all that simple. I used the eyedropper tool to slect a color from another photo, then used the brush while fully magnified to change the color of each pixel.
It was coming out a weird greyish color, and I noticed that if I clicked more than once, it got darker, but so did the pixels directly around the one i was editing. So, i copied both pictures, loaded them into paint, and went to town.
It worked, but then when i copied it back into photoshop, it had a black background (there was no background in the original pictures) around the sprite I was editing. I tried to use the magic wand tool to get rid of it, but it took parts of the sprite with it, so...
Is there any way that I can edit the color of a single pixel (or hell, even a group of pixels if they share the same exact color would be nice...preferred, even) accurately? If not, what program could I use that would keep the transparent background?
I often do website images for developers. The problem i am having is matching the web color from a color pick in ps. I have used a method where s i take a screen shot on my MAC and then pull that into PS cs5 (I have cs6 also) and pick. Then i export for web (png or jpeg).
This method gets me inconsistent results.
I'm aware that when using "pixel mode" at a certain zoom level Draw Ignores your settings for "nudge" and does it's own thing. (I think it's when the pixel grid appears and in my case this is at 800%) However, I've found a "feature" which seems like a mistake.
In large zooms in pixel mode objects move 0.5 pixels with the arrow keys, however when using the node edit tool your setting applies.
Personally I'd prefer Draw to always use the settings that you specify but I was told that the change of setting at large zoom levels was intentional - if this is true why do my nodes move differently to objects? This inconsistency can't be "intended"?

I'm using OS 10.6.8 and the latest Epson drivers for the 3880. I have re-installed both PS and the Epson drivers. If I print from Acrobat Reader everything seems to work fine, this only is happening in Photoshop CS5.

When I click the eyedropper to sample a color from an image already in GIMP, the whole 'Change Foreground Color' or 'Change Background Color' window just freezes. I neither get the little floating eyedrop curser nor can I even close the box for a couple of minutes. It eventually lets me close it, but only after some time has elapsed, not because I've done anything that I can determine. Needless to say, I never get to actually sample a color
I have been scrolling through this forum and google, and have not found an answer.My Illustrator CS5 has been working all day, and I went away from it momentarily to pack some boxes for moving and the eye dropper tool started picking up colors that didn't exist in the placed image i'm grabbing from.(clearly not black within that circle...)
I "found" a solution on this site where you go into your eyedropper options and make sure your appearance boxes are checked, and they weren't so I did that, and now the eyedropper tool won't pick up any color at all. I have a project deadlines that require this program, and i've tried just about everything but re-installing.
Here are the way my settings are now:
How do I use eyedropper to pick up a gradient color? I have a color that has 45% opacity on it and I want the exact code of that color. If I use eyepicker, it will only pick up the original color (with 100% gradient). I tried using colourificator. Illustrator picked up that color but when I applied it to the object, it became a different color.
Is there any other way to pick up the exact code of colors that has an opacity? If I am to find the color that has an opacity manually, how would I find it in the color picker?
Below is an example:
1) First circle does not have an opacity.2) Second circle has a 45% opacity on the stroke, and I tried using colouricator to pick up the color3) Colourifator picked up the same color, but when I applied to the third circle, the colour is off.

View 2 Replies View RelatedIf you create a symbol that is pixel perfect, exit out of the symbol and go back in, the pixels bleed into each other because the pixel grid is not aligned correctly. Instead it is aligned to the global document grid which the symbol content is not placed in. It makes no sense to align the pixel grid to the global coordinates when the content by definition is not present in it.
This makes it impossible to use symbols to edit pixel perfect objects because any editing other than the original creation does not display pixels but pixel bleeds.
This is a valid bug in Illustrator CS6. Please specify:
1. Do you understand what I am specifying? If you do not I will provide images as I wish to resolve this functionality.
2. Specify if it has been fixed in Illustrator CC. I do not have an available Win7 installation to test CC but if it is I will acquire one.
When I go to pick a color in Photoshop CS6 I receive an error message saying that "Could not complete request because of program error"! Why did this happen now when I've been using photoshop for months? I've not added any plug ins recently... All worked fine with all plug ins installed for months.

I'm trying to pick up color from an image using the eyedropper tool. But it only will pick up white as a color and fill the other object with white, and not the actual pixel color I am trying to grab. This doesn't always happen but I can't figure out why it is happening in this instance.

whether is possible to select multiple pictures (each in different layer) by using the "pick tool" direct in the canvas (or other means)?
We have survey files that we xref into our design files. In the survey files themselves, the points don't change color. When we xref them in, the point markers (only the circular node on the actual point, not the line coming off of it) take on the color of whatever the current layer is in the drawing, only fixable by changing the current letter and regenerating.

View 1 Replies View RelatedThe project is a photo montage. It was 4-color, now must become 2 colors. So I've changed each of the original 4-color photos (jpg and eps) into separate psd files (as grayscale/duotone/montage-and assigned it One pantone color)
In a new psd "montage" file, I plan to place each photo on its own layer, adjust tints, transparency, etc, to create one new montage/flattened.I'm not sure which color mode is best when setting up this new file, CMYK or grayscale?

I am trying to color this wolf in my friend made so I told her i could color her wolf. SO then, I use a paint brush to color it and I tryed to do lighting on the bottom and it turned out ugly so i gave it a gaussion blur. View 16 Replies View RelatedI ma on a PC with Windows7 using CS5.5 Extended. I am working on a piece where sometimes I have to deal with just one pixel at a time. If I am making a pixel black I select either a square or round brush, hardness 100, Opacity 100 and Flow 100. I have tried Normal Mode and several other modes but no matter what I always seem to get some bleed(shading) into other pixels and it takes a few clicks to get a solid color.
How do I get the color I want with one click in the pixel without bleed?
