Feb 2, 2014where you have a smaller preview image and you click it to open a larger version. I'm sure there's something super simple that I'm overlooking somehow.

Jun 13, 2011I redirected a user to the links in the Jewel tute but the problem is that while the tute sends you to the correct plugin thread, the download links in that thread are broken.
What we need is Zoom Blur Deluxe & Radial Blue Deluxe. To make matters worse they go by a couple of aliases...
I would put this is the thread for plugins but I'd have to do it for both.
I have the .DLL saved for both, so as a workaround for the broken download link, can I upload the file (if I can identify which one it is, not always that straight forward) & how do I upload it? As ab attachment?
InDesign :: Does Printing Pages With Ai Links Take Longer Than PSD Links?
Apr 15, 2014I'm reconstructing an old document originally developed with PageMaker. I've recreated a half dozen pages hopefully with more uniform techniques. The original line art for the pages was created in AutoCad and some were scans. To bring them into InDesign some of the art is now in psd format and some of the newer art is in Illustrator AI format.Â

I've noticed that the pages with photoshop art print pretty quickly (about 30 seconds). The ones with Illustrator art take much longer (about 1:30 seconds). They go through a flattening process.Â

I print these 50 page books on demand and that additional time would add about an hour.Â

I guess the question is whether this is normal and to be expected or not. If it is I'll likely turn everything into raster before going into InDesign. That, however, seems like quite a bit of extra work. Going from AutoCad to Illustrator (to add stroke) then to PhotoShop to change to raster and then into InDesign seems like a pretty convoluted work flow.Â
Paint Shop Pro :: Missing Links To Newsgroups
Jan 13, 2012what is so hard about reinstating the links to the cnews.corel.com newsgroups on the Corel website?
Yes, I know, newsgroups aren't that popular any more, blah blah blah, but they ARE with the people who use them, especially the Paint Shop Pro groups.
Corel are in need of some serious deaf aids as they're just not hearing/listening.
Photoshop :: Add Links To Image And Then Add It To Webpage?
May 13, 2012I am trying to add links to an image and then add it to my web page...I have been trying to use the slice tool in photoshop which works great for the links but I can't seem to achieve a transparent background in the save for web...

Inside of photoshop the image is transparent and when I save for web (image) the map.png file is not created...map_01.png, map_02.png and all others are created but not the map.png file When I have saved for web (html) I have tried inserting the html into an iframe on the page and the image looks and functions correctly but there is no transparent background because it is an <iframe> and not the actual .png.
AutoCAD Inventor :: Remove Image Links To DWG?
Oct 3, 2013I have a DWG with some links to images on. Â I would like to remove these links but am having a bit of a hard time.
See attached screenshot of the missing images.
I have tried to use 2 different macro's to remove these but it appears these are not OLE objects (which the macro's remove).
There is no delete menu item when you right click on the image like either.
Illustrator :: Lose Image Links To Other Files?
Mar 7, 2014I have an illustrator file which contains linked images. I want the images to link to images in a different folder on a different hard drive. They are the same images, but just in a different location.

I am thinking of temporarily changing the name of the first hard drive (which the images are currently linked to), in order to break the original image links. That way, I can re-open the illustrator file, and when it asks me to find the links, at that point I can direct illustrator towards the links on my other hard drive.

I will then save the file with the images linking to the images on the new hard drive.

At that point I will re-name the first hard drive back to it's original name.Will all of my other illustrator files loose their links if I temporarily change the name of my hard drive, and then change it back to it's original name?

(I have used this technique by changing folder names, and it has worked. But I was afraid to change the name of my Hard Drive because there are a guzillion files on it, and I can't afford for my illustrator files to lose any of their links.)
Illustrator :: Image Links Not Auto-Updating?
Mar 22, 2014I updated to Illustrator 17.1, and now my image links no longer auto-update after they have been edited in Photoshop. As most should know, this has long been a feature: tweak an image file in Photoshop, save it (same file name), and Illustrator will recognize the image has been edited and ask if you want to update it automatically. Hit 'Return', as 'Okay' is the default dialog button action, and image updated: one step. Without auto-update, user must manually access link palette, select edited image link, and 'Relink' the image ('Update Link' unavailable here now as well): three-plus steps (including identifying and selecting image file after 'Relink').

Oct 23, 2013When I click "Edit Original" with a jpeg selected in the links panel it opens Microsoft Paint! In Windows (7) the file association is Windows Picture Viewer (NOT Paint!) and in Bridge it is associated with Photoshop CC. In InDesign we have the option of choosing which program to edit linked files with. In Illustrator we are stuck with the astounding Paint! Why?? 17 versions and this still bugs me!

Jun 14, 2013I have several discs/flash drives with digital pictures frames that I would like to insert pictures into some of them, but everytime I do as the instructions tell me, by first clickling new, inserting the frame, then I go to start and drag the photo over and invariably, the photo turns into a background, not a layer that will easily insert into the frame, a lot of the frames are png, do I need to change their format or what. It looked so simple on the U tube video I watched and it sure isn't that way when I try it. I bought a lot of these photo frame discs on ebay a while back and at that time they gave me a simple program to use to insert photos into these frames, but since then I've change computers a few times and lost the program, will do the insertion of photos into these frames.Â

If it is in JPG format, I usually open that file and then open it and just drag and drop to my current workspace, but Photoshop doesn't allow me to do that for GIF format I did try to convert it to JPG but the image quality was decreasing even I tried with some programs and set the compression to 0 (zero). So I do want to just insert that GIF file into my current workspace.

All the samples are linked to c:program filescorel ... instead of c:program files (x86)corel ... this is the default folder on 64-bit-systems.
Relinking is not possible.I registered the product but Corel did not send the support code!

the company logo images that i have on cd are red logo on white background.
The POS that I need to do are White on blue background.
I have converted the imaged to white on blue, but when the image is inserted into Quark, the 2 blues are different shades.
The logo image is a cut out but has been flatten. How can insert just the wording with no background into my Quark document?

I selected my object I want it pasted onto, I then opened up my materials editor, under maps and then standard I selected Bitmap and selected my image. Jan 12, 2012I mostly use Max for 3-D walkthroughs of architecture models I design in Revit, and in all of my renderings I have computer monitors and televisions. For effect I would like to make the monitors appear as though they are in use during the walk through, nothing fancy, just a standard home-screen would do.
Is it possible to insert .jpg or png screen-shot files in place on the monitor screens to make these objects look active, and how would I accomplish this task?

Jun 2, 2010I am working on a drawing and my boss wants me to put the company logo in the corner of the picture. Im really struggling to do this. I've done some reading up on the net and read that i must covert it from JPEG to DXF then from DXF to DWG. Which i have done and inserted.. But, the picture looks nothing alike the logo as it is just lines, can insert it with the colours etc?
If not how can i plot my cad drawing and print the logo on the same page, to right hand side of my drawing forexample.

Dec 19, 2012Don't know much about photo shopping or manipulating images, but hope to learn more, since I already have one Etsy shop (selling beauty products) and am planning on opening another (selling miniatures).
For my first Etsy shop I used a Free Etsy Banner provided by a blogger I follow. I did not include text or my shop name in my Banner.
I have downloaded another banner from this same blogger, this one has the option to include text (your shop name) and I would like to include my shop name for the miniatures Etsy shop I plan to open within about six month.
I asked her how to enter text and she said to just open it in Picture, or whichever photo shop type program I use. I have a Mac, am fairly broke, Gimp was recommended to me by another small business owner.
I managed to figure out how to enter text, use the text editor, and place it in the blank field. The only problem is I can't see the text, despite playing around with the colour of the text.

AutoCad :: Inserting OLE Image And Graphics Not Displaying
May 29, 2013I have a drawing that has an OLE image in the drawing format. In this particular drawing the image is not showing up. The border around the image is there but nothing else. All my layers are on and OLEHIDE is set to 0. Every other drawing I opened that uses the same format is fine.
I have attached the file with just the formats (my company is pretty strict with posting any drawings). The image should appear in the bottom left corner.

Aug 23, 2010I am having trouble inserting a JPEG image in Inventor 2011 LT drawing (DWG) file. Â The Image button on Insert panel under Manage tab is always disabled. Â I am able to bring in the image using Insert Object feature and selecting 'create from file' option. Â Although the resulting image looks OK on the screen, it looks inverted and distorted when printed.
I am facing the same problem when I try to insert image in a dwg sketch, however, the process works as expected on part sketches.

The frame of the logo shows up with the file path of where is is located.

Aug 16, 2011I've recently installed auto cad 2007lt on our new computer. I set up numerous tool palettes with blocks that we use often. I was pulling images from the palettes to my drawing with no problem.
Today when I tried inserting an image from the tool palette it is saying that the image can not be found. I've tried under previous drawings and new templates and have been unsuccessful.

Aug 9, 2011inserting a Tiff image into a dwg file with Raster Design 2011. I have a image scanned at 400dpi and the image is a good quality image, some of the text is small be legible. When I insert the image with the imageattch command the image seems to gain pixels therefore causing some text to become unreadable. I've used the bitonal filter but then I lose some resolution. Is it normal for the TIFF image to appear more dense when brought into an Autocad drawing? If so is there a way to adjust the image to look more like the scan?
