If I try to do an unattended installation, by using the /auto, on a freshly installed windows, it will still pop up a message: "The following will be installed: .NET Framework 3.5 SP1, Paint.NET" After the installation it will pop up another message box that asks if I want to restart windows. How can I make the installation completely silent?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have PSP X2 on my laptop and it has developed a problem where it will not get through the initialization process. It comes up with the flash screen and after awhile the flash goes away and then nothing it just sits there and if you try to do anything you get a program not responding message and the only way out is to use the ctrl, alt, delete and exit manually. I have uninstalled the program and reinstalled it but this problem persists no matter what I do including going in and completely deleting everything corel from the hard drive.
how to completely flush the program and all the hidden files and registry entries so I can do a virgin install and start over without whatever glitch it has developed. There is an ini file or something that is staying on my computer and causing this problem.

When I try to run the downloaded file, "PSPP_X3_Ult_PF.exe", logged in as an Administrator, the following message pops up and the installation stops.

After making server image, I try to install PSP using properties documented in Deployment Guide but some of them don't seem to work. I need to suppress the license agreement and register dialogs but every time they just pop up.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a Dell Inspiron 1420 with Vista Home Premium with SP2. I have the new Paintshop Photo Pro X3. I attempted to install from the CD and the initial banner loads with the three installs (Painshop Photo Pro X3, Paintshop Photo Project Creator, and Painter Photo Essentials 4). Clicking on any of the 3 installs the Installation Wizard starts up with a progress bar and the text "Please wait". Then the progress bar disappears and nothing happens. The installation window is now just black with no text or options and only Cancel button shows. There is an inactive "Next" button. The installation process just stops or hangs.
I did install on my other PC loaded with Windows 7 and all the programs installed perfectly. I have attempted more than 10 times on the other machine with the same hanging results.
Is it possible to automate plugin installation and language installation when making Unattended Installation and MSI-Based Deployment ?

Error 1901.Error attempting to read from the source installation database: C:windowsinstaller1021ae5.msi
I've done an install of the download version and then uninstalled and repeated the disk installation: this gave the same error except a different *.msi file.This is a Windows 7 home professional X64 system and I tried it on both my own logon (nominally an 'administrator') and on the 'super administrator' mode with the same problem.
I purchased the upgrade to PaintShop Pro X6 Ultimate which includes FaceFilter3 Standard.
When I try to install FaceFilter3 Standard I get the following message after which the installation terminates:
FaceFilter v3.02 Standard does not support Virtual Machine installation. Setup program will now terminate.
I am installing on a Windows 8 Professional Platform with Hyper-V Enabled, but I am not installing on a guest machine. The installation is on the host.
The other components installed without problems.
Halfway installing PSP Prox4 from my disc or via the web, error message comes up: "The system can not find the device specified" and "Your system has not been modified".I have the latest drivers and DirectX installed.

I'm trying to use VideoStudio X2 to burn to DVD a file that I’ve downloaded to my laptop from my hard disk set top box . When I play the file in VideoStudio it's silent (whether or not I’ve added it to the timeline). However when I view the file (a .ts ) in Windows Media Player it has sound.
If I view other .ts video files in VideoStudio they do have sound, which suggests the sound for my laptop and VideoStudio aren't completely muted.I've attached a screen shot that shows the audio file properties as well as other settings.

View 2 Replies View RelatedWe are running multiple instances of Inventor on a workstation server with a bog standard graphics card.
These Inventor instances are loaded without the UI, in silent mode and with save reminders etc. all disabled.
We're always trying to get the best performance out of the servers and to date we've been given the impression that Inventor won't utilize the graphics card under silent / none visible mode.
If Inventor does still use the graphics card for some reason then we can stick a bigger card in and hopefully get some improved performance.
The closer I got to the same look was to create a brush with the size of 1 pixel and 500% spacing, but it's still a bit slow to get even a small area looking like it's been sprayed. Plus, in the end my pattern looks too regular, not very natural. Here is part of the image whose look I'm trying to recreate (400% and 100%).

Granted I don't have a hardware calibration tool, only software, but I've used nVidia's tool as well as several others, and everything is fine, except when I go into CS5. For example, the whites on this page are perfectly fine. However, in CS5 the white is cream colored.
Is there something specific to CS5 that is independent of my monitor as well as every other application that I own that makes it cream? It didn't used to be like this, so I don't know what changed.

My colors are completely off in photoshop from the real image. I've already checked to make sure it's not the monitor, the color is fine there. I've already read the forums that say to simply turn on "Proof Colors." That does changes the colors how they should be. HOWEVER, if I try and export the file out as a png or anything, they are exported with the messed up color rather than the "proof colors." BUT if I open the image up in microsoft paint, it appears to be right, but only with paint. If I open the image with anything else (reader, indesign, picaso, etc.), the color is always messed up. I even tried exporting the png to someone else thinking it was just my computer, no luck. For some reason, I can't export anything without it using crazy colors (just like if "proof colors" was unchecked). I've tried deleting preferance and playing around with the color settings. What can I do?

View 3 Replies View RelatedIts a large file, so i shut down photoshop and then started it back up, like i do all the time. However when photoshop started up again my file i had been working on all week was gone. It could be seen in the recent files, but when i clicked it it said it couldnt find it. So i go to the directory where it should be, and, yup, its gone.
Not in the recycle bin, not anywhere on the drive after many exhaustive searches, and i cant even find it using a disk recovery tool. I have tried recuvra, which took over 2 hours, and nothing. It is completely and absolutely gone, taking away a weeks worth of work with it. I actually need this for tomorrow, but dont have anywhere near enough time to create it from scratch again.
