View 2 Repliesi down loaded some videos from a sony hand held but there was no sound in any of the videos?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI can see my mts video files in Lightroom 4, but however they do not have sound. Is there anything that I could do to have the sound? (The sound is working for videos that I made with my Nikon 3100 camera, but not for the videos that I made with my Sony camera.) Also, is there a way to light the video files from Lightroom 4 to Adobe Premiere, as Adobe Premiere seems to have more editing capabilities and plays the sound from my Sony videos?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have lightroom 5.3 running on Windows 7 64-bit. I am unble to import AVCHD video files from my Sony DSCRX-100. I am not sure why, as lightroom 5 supports this video format.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have blended still photos, imported video AVI with it's own audio and music tracks. The work area was rendered and when I play the sections the music blends out and the video plays back as it's supposed to and even with full screen. Then I use the "Share" tab and burn a DVD using either a DVD-R or DVD+R and everything is fine except the video pieces that I want to play are silent.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm running elements 11 (on windows 8 pro), and I noticed when I click on a video, (the thumbnail is there in organiser), and hit "play" all I get is grey screen, the timeline runs fine, theres sound, just no image.

The nex 6 is very similar to the NEX5 that is supported.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to use VideoStudio X2 to burn to DVD a file that I’ve downloaded to my laptop from my hard disk set top box . When I play the file in VideoStudio it's silent (whether or not I’ve added it to the timeline). However when I view the file (a .ts ) in Windows Media Player it has sound.
If I view other .ts video files in VideoStudio they do have sound, which suggests the sound for my laptop and VideoStudio aren't completely muted.I've attached a screen shot that shows the audio file properties as well as other settings.
Software: Pro X2 (VideoStudio v12.0.96.1)
Toshiba Satellite L500-1WG
Windows 7, Home Premium, 64 bit
Pentium Dual Core CPU, T4400, 2.2GHz, 4 GB RAM
Video type: PAL
Is there support in ACR to open .arw files from a Sony Nex6? If not, is there any other method, instead of using .dng converter.

View 1 Replies View RelatedTaken video clips with that camera? It uses mpg4 ACE (which is not a codec known to VideoStudio) and my PC tells me that the clips come at 30.05 fps. What can I do now? Why the clips aren't 29.97 fps?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI just downloaded the trial version CS6. I imported into Photoshop, Pro Res 422 HQ clips and it plays back very choppy. When exported it remains choppy.
View 4 Replies View RelatedIn CS6, When editing Pro Res 422, Video with single layer plays back fine but with 3 layers playback and export are very choppy. I tried merging layers but the video doesn't playback at all. Is there any other settings I could try?
CS6 memory usage is 100%, sound is turned of in TL. System MacPro -Quad Core Intel Xeon-Processor Speed 3 GHz, Memory 8GB.
I used the old video studio several years ago and I have just recently upgraded to this version. I have also purchased a new sony Video Camera the HDR-CX560V. Unfortunately, the software doesn't recognize when the camera is connected via USB cable.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI've created a slide show using layers and have created a video group. This turns the layers into clips in the timeline. I've added a cross-fade transition between each clip in the timeline.
Everything plays back nicely in PS. When I export to mp4 and play it back in Quicktime, no matter what the magnification, the transitions look horrible. Even if I freeze frame on one it's horribly pixelated. I've tried different export options with the same results. Something appears to be happening during rendering the transitions, as if PS doesn't know how to create them. I export to:
Adobe Media Encoder
H.264
High Quality
1920 x 1080 (same as my file)
Frame Rate 30 fps
Field Order: Preset (Progressive)
Range = All Frames
My stats are:
PS CS6
iMac 27"
10.6.8
800 gigs free space
12 gigs ram 8 free
While editing a large video file (one hour), the audio playback worked for a while, but then simply stopped working. Can still see video and edit it, but without hearing the words / background, editing will not be correct. Is there a bug in the software or some way of reseting the file? I have noticed a similar issue with videos in LR4.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI am using PS in a traditional animation capacity--drawing each frame of animation by hand on a seperate layer. I loved doing this in 5.5 and it worked wonderfully on my machine. There are a couple of problems for me with CS6 that perhaps
My main problem is that when i play back my animation (I prefer to use the clips/layers version as opposed to the "frame" version which is more limited in my opinion), the image quality is horrible. When I say "play back" I mean hitting the spacebar and playing it, not rendering it. This feature worked like a charm in CS5.5, but the quality is very low in CS6. The same thing happens when scrubbing with the play head--the image quality gets all blocky and pixelly looking. The funny thing is, when I stop playback or stop scrubbing through frames, the images go back to thier normal state.
When I first saw this happen, it reminded me of a low quality RAM preview in After Effects (for those of you who are familiar with After Effects)--which I thought would make sense, since AE offers a way to increase or descrease the quality of immediate playbacks (RAM Previews) depending on what you are testing in the playback and how much available RAM you have. But there is no way to adjust the playback quality in PS CS6--at least not one that I can find. I absoluately need playback to be 100% quality as it was in 5.5, otherwise this feature is completely useless to me.
Also--did they remove the "onion skinning" button from the Timeline window? That was so useful... That is such a useful button for anyone attempting traditional animation in this program--which it was wonderful for in CS5.5.
BTW--my current machine specs if that matters:
Mac Mini, 2009 model
2.26 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo 64 bit
NVIDIA GeForce 9400 256MB
OSX Lion
4 GB RAM
100+ GB free HD space
I have been trying to open the above files in PS CS5 and get a message that ACR doesn't recognize the files. I downloaded the applicable DNG converter for ACR version that I have and it still won't open the files.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a new camera which records in AVCHD format. I have transferred the video files from my camera to the computer. I have compiled a project on Video Studio ProX2. When I playback each clip they play at normal speed. When I playback the project before copying onto a disc the playback is very fast. I have also got as far as sharing the project onto a disc but when I click on preview the playback is again very fast. I see that I can slow down the playback but this also slows down any speech on the video.
I have used Video studio PRox for a couple of years now with great success with an old Sony Handycam but I must need to do something to the new format to play it back at normal speed.
After rendering a few clips in my timeline for playback, my video tracks are no longer playing back. The timeline time marker plays, the time counts, and the audio playback is working correctly, but the video stays on the frame in which playback started, and does not move change until pausing playback.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI was watching through footage and choose a handful of clips ... my video worked fine. Then Friday I came back to start putting everything together and the clips "went blank," The audio could be heard and played back in real time, but the video displays as a black screen or a green screen. I tried rendering, but it said it would take 2+ hours to render the 1 minute of clips I had in my timeline. Even the sections that did end up rendering just showed a blank red screen. Clips are .MTS (which I've used in every project previously with no problem) shot with a Panaconic HMC-150.
I'm using Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 on Windows 8, 64-bit operating system
Processor: Intel Core i7 CPU - 920 @ 2.67 GHz
12.0 GB of RAM
The thing that gets me is that this has worked for months, even worked with these clips a few days ago, and now it seems like everything just vanished.
We just bought a Sony RX100 and want to use it with our Photoshop CS5 12.0.4 and Camera Raw 6.7.0.339. The Raw files (extension .ARW) produced by the camera can't be opened by Camera Raw.
1. Can any released version of Camera Raw open these files?
2. Do we have to update to Photoshop CS6 to be able to open these files? (If so it's a tribute to corporate greed.)
3. Does Sony software can convert these files?
