View 29 RepliesI have a Sony Cyber Shot DSC-WX50. I have installed QuickTime
View 29 RepliesI'm running elements 11 (on windows 8 pro), and I noticed when I click on a video, (the thumbnail is there in organiser), and hit "play" all I get is grey screen, the timeline runs fine, theres sound, just no image.
View 4 Replies View RelatedEven after installing quicktime, I am still unable to view any video loaded to Elements 12. I can hear sound but no picture when I hit play. No no thumbnail photo of video available either, just blank with play button.
I am using Windows 8.1. most of the video content was taken with an iphone.
I'm using PSE10 on a Win7 (64bit) OS. When I delete a picture (from catalogue and harddrive) the PSE-Organizer tends to jump down several pictures (Haven't been able to determine a fixed number), so I have to go up again and browse through the same pics a couple of times.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have blended still photos, imported video AVI with it's own audio and music tracks. The work area was rendered and when I play the sections the music blends out and the video plays back as it's supposed to and even with full screen. Then I use the "Share" tab and burn a DVD using either a DVD-R or DVD+R and everything is fine except the video pieces that I want to play are silent.
View 2 Replies View RelatedAfter upgrading the raw-file, finally video playback from files filmed with this camera is back, but the playback is still silent....
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy videos do not show picture in photoshop Elements 11. Only the sound comes through. Am I missing a key system requirement?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI've been using elements 8 for several years and have just downloaded 12. When I download a video, the sound does not transfer.
View 1 Replies View RelatedThe clips are playable with Quicktime or Windows Media Player.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI transferred all my photo files from my Old XP PC where i used PSE 5.0 to my New Windows 8 computer and then loaded my new PSE 11 program in...All my JPEG files work but all my sony home video files that used to work on PSE 5.0 no longer have their pictures with their sound..And some off them even have music files running in behind the video sound files.

Importing video AVCHD (home video) - video plays fine....but i hear no sound.
Pumped up volume on PSE video screen and computer master volume...but still no sound. It cant be that difficult to get sound...could it?
All i did was import the video from my C drive into PSE 11. When i play the video on windows media player, it plays fine. I hear the sound perfectly at 5.1 surround. So i know the movie file is good.....so why wont the sound import into PSE 11?
My camcorder is new 2013. SonyHD w/ 5.1 surround sound
I would think there would be no compatibility issues since i am using latest PSE 11 and a newer camcorder.
I'm using pro x4, had no problems til today
I'm using win7, and just from today, x4 has stopped giving any sound output. Playing mpg files I can see the sound levels in the mixer, but there's no output audio. I can hear mpg audio in other players, just not in Corel.
I recently installed PSE11 and Premier 11. After importing my media files I found that the MP4 files from a Samsung HMX-W300 did not have thumbnails in the Organizer and only the audio would play, not the video. All the other video files I had were ok. The Samsung files also played just fine in Premier 11, WMP and Quicktime player. why they won't play from within the Organizer? My computer is running Win 7 64 bit.
View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I open a picture on my computer with PSE9 it appears in the Editor. After I make changes in the picture I would like to be able to add it to the Organizer without having to open the Organier,Find the file on my computer and then see it in the Organizer.
View 3 Replies View RelatedSome of the thumbnails do not display a picture in Organizer but only in Editor which makes it very difficult to organize and choose which to work with.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI am trying to reduce my playback resolution and the information you provide in the help section does not match my screen so I cannot find the setting options for this
View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently upgraded from PSE5 to PSE12. The installation went smoothly and my old Catalog was imported without a hitch. After my first test run to edit a file, I did a "Save As" in a version set with the original. I then closed the file, but when I went to the organizer, it was not there. When I go to the folder in Windows Explorer, the edited file is present - I just can't get it to appear (alone or in a version set) in the Organizer. (FYI, I am running Windows 8).
View 3 Replies View Related1. Elements 11 Organizer often creates multiple copies of the same picture. How can I stop this?
2. Many pictures has a small questionmark in the upper left corner, stating that the file is missing, even though I can see the picture (a bit blurred, but still). What's wrong?
I have a problem with the organizer 10. Im using the program for longer times without any problem. But since nearly a week the new pictures, i import to my PC will not shown as a miniature in the organizer screen. i only see a sand-glass. Older pictures are already to see and i can select a single picture to see just this one...it will be shown.
I try to reorganize my catalog...doesn't change.
Completed my film, created video file and burned it successfully. For this film I used copyright free music. Unfortunately, when playing back the burned disk, the sound "skids" and sounds somewhat distorted in places. Less so but still distorted is some of the spoken word in the film (ie the person on the film not voiceover). (Everything is fine when playing back the project in VS.) It's not so bad you can't play or hear it but obviously not satisfactory to my own pride! - letalone the viewer.
I do not use the "normalise audio" function and wonder if this would make a difference? I had presumed until now that the normalise audio function would merely make all audio the same level - on whatever work I had done to make the sound/voice overs different, e.g. lowering sound at the point of voice-over etc. I should say I have used a lot of visual effects in the film - 6 overlay tracks - and wonder if I have exceeded the bounds of sensibility!
How do you avoid importing same file (Picture) from camera to Organizer more than once? I am in the habit of keeping pictures in my camera for a longer period of time. This is easy to control using Picasa - but what about Elements11?
View 5 Replies View RelatedThe files are Mpeg4..I just upgraded some PSE 11 catalogs to PSE 12 and all functions and tags imported fine. When I import video only into PSE12 organizer, it will not generate a thumbnail image. I imported the same files into the old catalog using PSE11 and the thumbnails will be created. I have even gone a step further and converted the PSE11 catalog after imports were made, and PSE12 will now have the thumbnails. Eventually PSE11 is going to have to be uninstalled.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI just downloaded the trial version CS6. I imported into Photoshop, Pro Res 422 HQ clips and it plays back very choppy. When exported it remains choppy.
View 4 Replies View RelatedIn CS6, When editing Pro Res 422, Video with single layer plays back fine but with 3 layers playback and export are very choppy. I tried merging layers but the video doesn't playback at all. Is there any other settings I could try?
CS6 memory usage is 100%, sound is turned of in TL. System MacPro -Quad Core Intel Xeon-Processor Speed 3 GHz, Memory 8GB.
I have installed a trial version of Photoshop CS6 and am editing video. When I open short videos to edit the sound on the original video plays fine but when I open a larger video (1 hr) the sound does not play. I have played with the mute button to no avail. Sound is fine on the original file. Is this a limitation of the trial version or a bug or some mistake I am making?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI've created a slide show using layers and have created a video group. This turns the layers into clips in the timeline. I've added a cross-fade transition between each clip in the timeline.
Everything plays back nicely in PS. When I export to mp4 and play it back in Quicktime, no matter what the magnification, the transitions look horrible. Even if I freeze frame on one it's horribly pixelated. I've tried different export options with the same results. Something appears to be happening during rendering the transitions, as if PS doesn't know how to create them. I export to:
Adobe Media Encoder
H.264
High Quality
1920 x 1080 (same as my file)
Frame Rate 30 fps
Field Order: Preset (Progressive)
Range = All Frames
My stats are:
PS CS6
iMac 27"
10.6.8
800 gigs free space
12 gigs ram 8 free
While editing a large video file (one hour), the audio playback worked for a while, but then simply stopped working. Can still see video and edit it, but without hearing the words / background, editing will not be correct. Is there a bug in the software or some way of reseting the file? I have noticed a similar issue with videos in LR4.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI am using PS in a traditional animation capacity--drawing each frame of animation by hand on a seperate layer. I loved doing this in 5.5 and it worked wonderfully on my machine. There are a couple of problems for me with CS6 that perhaps
My main problem is that when i play back my animation (I prefer to use the clips/layers version as opposed to the "frame" version which is more limited in my opinion), the image quality is horrible. When I say "play back" I mean hitting the spacebar and playing it, not rendering it. This feature worked like a charm in CS5.5, but the quality is very low in CS6. The same thing happens when scrubbing with the play head--the image quality gets all blocky and pixelly looking. The funny thing is, when I stop playback or stop scrubbing through frames, the images go back to thier normal state.
When I first saw this happen, it reminded me of a low quality RAM preview in After Effects (for those of you who are familiar with After Effects)--which I thought would make sense, since AE offers a way to increase or descrease the quality of immediate playbacks (RAM Previews) depending on what you are testing in the playback and how much available RAM you have. But there is no way to adjust the playback quality in PS CS6--at least not one that I can find. I absoluately need playback to be 100% quality as it was in 5.5, otherwise this feature is completely useless to me.
Also--did they remove the "onion skinning" button from the Timeline window? That was so useful... That is such a useful button for anyone attempting traditional animation in this program--which it was wonderful for in CS5.5.
BTW--my current machine specs if that matters:
Mac Mini, 2009 model
2.26 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo 64 bit
NVIDIA GeForce 9400 256MB
OSX Lion
4 GB RAM
100+ GB free HD space
how to fix an audio issue with exporting video from Photoshop.I am choosing the quick time format however the option for sound is always grayed out. from the animation panel I have the audio enabled and I can hear it when I play back from within Photoshop.
I am using Photoshop CS4 extended on PC Windows 7.I understand the following -
-For audio I need to choose Quicktime format
-Photoshop is primarily image editing software (with video capabilities)
When I play the video from "importing video frames into layers" the audio doesn't come out anymore.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm not finding any sound management features for the video part of PS or anything in the help files yet either.
