I't not HDR even though it has some of the qualities -I've seen videos of his shoots and there's no bracketing or multiple photos needed for HDR. And the technique I'm interested in is the coloring/dimensionality, NOT the multiple layered photos or the 20 identical twins(sic) running around the room -

Jan 15, 2011I'm trying to use VideoStudio X2 to burn to DVD a file that I’ve downloaded to my laptop from my hard disk set top box . When I play the file in VideoStudio it's silent (whether or not I’ve added it to the timeline). However when I view the file (a .ts ) in Windows Media Player it has sound.
If I view other .ts video files in VideoStudio they do have sound, which suggests the sound for my laptop and VideoStudio aren't completely muted.I've attached a screen shot that shows the audio file properties as well as other settings.
Software: Pro X2 (VideoStudio v12.0.96.1)
Toshiba Satellite L500-1WG
Windows 7, Home Premium, 64 bit
Pentium Dual Core CPU, T4400, 2.2GHz, 4 GB RAM

Aug 18, 2011If I try to do an unattended installation, by using the /auto, on a freshly installed windows, it will still pop up a message: "The following will be installed: .NET Framework 3.5 SP1, Paint.NET" After the installation it will pop up another message box that asks if I want to restart windows. How can I make the installation completely silent?

Dec 9, 2013We are running multiple instances of Inventor on a workstation server with a bog standard graphics card.
These Inventor instances are loaded without the UI, in silent mode and with save reminders etc. all disabled.
We're always trying to get the best performance out of the servers and to date we've been given the impression that Inventor won't utilize the graphics card under silent / none visible mode.
If Inventor does still use the graphics card for some reason then we can stick a bigger card in and hopefully get some improved performance.

Illustrator :: High Raster Effect Resolution In Large Document Makes Effect Disappear
Feb 18, 2013I'm making some graphics to be printed on a car. I have some lines with outer glow on them, but Illustrator won't render these unless I use 72DPI in raster effects reslution. I would like to go higher, but it won't give me anything. Guessing it's to heavy for Illustrator maybe? Is there anything I can do about this? I'm making my graphics in 1:1 scale, but I do it in a lower scale since it's just vector art anyway, however how would that effect my glow? Since it's a raster effect.

Repro: Import any footage to a new project - any resolution or frame rate. Create new composition from clip. Type in "Crop" in effects search Double click to load it. Result is an effect called "Wigglerama" & "transform" gets loaded instead of the required "Crop" effect

Feb 13, 2008Have a project and need to find a way to produce a x-ray effect on a object.
Some methods have entered my mind on how this could be accomplished - > inverting the excised object from my photo(s) > desaturate the objects > inject some artificial luminescence with glow or lighting effects > create a canvas for the x-ray - Before any serious time is invested I thought it would be a good idea to see if anyone has done this before, or has any ideas.

I was thinking the frequency (lines/inch) of my halftone was off, would there be a rule to follow as to how many lines per inch depending on image size?

Oct 18, 2004I am trying to get at is a frontpage of a newspaper. I am going to scan a newspaper and replace the headings with my desired text..
Secondly I am going to replace the photo on the newspaper frontpage with my desired photo. Now, the whole page will be black and white, even the photo. But specific objects in the photo will be colored. Eg, the shoes will be colored but the rest of the body B&W.. How can I get that effect?
