View 2 Replies View RelatedThe problem certainly has been discussed all over the place, but I've yet to find an answer in all of my research. And the problem hasn't been limited to only CS6 (earliest reported cases involve CS2), but that's what I'm in now...
Given:
Win7 Pro SP1 64-bit
8 GB RAM
CS6 Extended 64-bit
Issue:
Print screen image 01 captured (using the PrtScn key on the keyboard) to Windows' clipboard pastes into Photoshop document. Print screen image 02 captured to Windows' clipboard does not paste into Photoshop document, but instead image 01. Delete unwanted layer and capture image 02 again, and this time Photoshop pastes in image 02. Curiously, the problem is not remedied by Photoshop's menu Edit, Purge, Clipboard.
This problem does not occur in other applications like in Paint for example - only in Photoshop.
I have attached an image and was wondering how to make pictures like it with paint dot net.
Also, I did try searching but couldn't find what I was looking for but if I missed the info.
Basicly when i try to erase a layer/rectangle tool to make a nice fade this is what happens: every time i try to erase it makes a huge black lining around the erased part as u can see .
View 5 Replies View RelatedHow to edit a .wmf file that is a graph and was generated by a statistical program. I need to visually enhance this graph, making it look more appealing for publication in a manuscript. It's very simple, just need to make rectangles behind the existing text that form the columns in the graph, and shade the rows of the graph to assist the reader to follow the row across the graph. While I can edit the text on the .wmf, I can't get a rectangle to be placed under the existing text unless I lower the opacity of the rectangle which won't work as I need black and white only. I've tried converting the text to rectangle, but the stretching of the text won't be acceptable. What would be the workflow I should attempt to follow to enhance the looks of the document in illustrator? Is there a trick to getting the rectangle to behave? It works just fine if I actually type NEW text in, then place a rectangle, but I'll have to work with the info in the .wmf file - can't re-type it all.

View 1 Replies View RelatedAny easier way of doing "letterpress" text effects in paint.net? At the moment I'm using 4 layers:
1: Background layer#404040
2: Round Rectangle layer #A0A0A0
3: Text 1 layer #000000
4: Text 2 layer #404040
Making the font size for Text 1 and Text 2 the same and then just slight shifting the position of Text 1 layer to give a tiny shadow.
For example, in the Scream And Shout Remix Video, there's an effect that randomly flashes, like they are a glitching hologram (for lack of better description). Such as in the attached pics....
How would I go about making something similar in Paint.Net?
How to make this text effect (watermark)?
I plan to make my own watermark accordingly.
I've been using paint.net for a whole now to crop and make clear backgrounds on images and layer them with others. As of late I've decided to take on a more ambitious project: to make an animated gif of a starship using a tractor beam to drag an object into the center of a picture and then leave. I am in the process of searching the forums as how to make an animated gif, and I would like to know how to create a sort of tractor beam effect. It doesn't have to be realistic (as the images I'm using are slightly cartoonish), but enough to look like a blue beam of light is shining (but gradually getting weaker) onto an object.

I found a video tutorial on how to make a depth of field effect from a photo. However, the video quality was so bad I couldn't even see what they were doing and clicking on.

I'm trying to make a pinch effect on my text image.

But I want to pinch it in the middle so it's kind of a horizontal hourglass. Like this:

I have PSP x14 on win7 64b. I would like to make a photo look like it's on a canvas so that it would show a depth of border along the top and down the nearest side. I have tried altering the perspective and adding narrow selected lenght from the top and side of the original photo but am still not getting the effect I am after.
